Thanks, didn't think it sounded good.
Openkeychain also wanted premission to access photo album, which i thought was strange, also needed accsess to contacts list and calander too. Just pgp program shouldn't need all that, should it?
Haven't had time to look but do u know what folders the ones you listed need access to?

Don't think I would put too much trust in using PGP on Android. Smart phones in general tend to leak a lot of personal information through apps etc. unless you're being really careful and restricting permissions on each and every app installed.

+1. Anyway, smart phones can be used for encrypting and verifying. We can just import public key and then use it for encrypting and all. You know, for simpler purposes. Roll Eyes

collateral = 100% or more of/than what you are requesting.

you are offering 0.02180022BTC collateral and you are not gonna get more than that.

Unless OP is kind enough and willing to take risk.

Okay! So I can offer you another collateral. Please lend me 0.05BTC. I can offer SJCX worth 0.02 and 0.03BTC from coinbroker's signature campaign. I will give you SJCX when you give me BTC and 0.03BTC will be paid to you if I don't give you BTC in 7-14 days. If you accept this, then please notify me so that I can send a PM with this message of mine to coinbroker and also post in the thread. When I do, please post on the thread saying about this(optional).

Will I have to send a signed message when sending message to coinbroker and also when posting on the thread?

7204  Other / New forum software / Re: [REQ] Ability to Download Archived Formats (.ZIP) of Old Messages on: September 13, 2014, 08:49:12 AM
Implementing it would help users. And also how about folders for messages? For some important messages, it can be categorized for easy referring and also an option for downloading a zip file for that particular folder?

I looked almost all PGP app for Android, every app's permissions are almost same, access to library, sd card, contacts etc... I think they support file encryption too like encrypting contacts, images etc... Reviews are good though. So you can also test it. Try to install a tracking app before installing this, so you can know where there is any anonymous uploading.

7207  Other / Meta / Re: Activity updates on: September 13, 2014, 07:59:43 AM
I think you get 14 activity every  2 weeks if you post at least one post in those 2 weeks, so in the next period you'll have 84 activity.

You will have to post 14 posts to get 14 activity. Correct me if I am wrong!

7208  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Bitcoin public address and privatekey pairs on: September 13, 2014, 07:47:32 AM
You will have to ask public key part. Asking privatekey part points that this is a perfect scam. So maybe you are mistaken how this works, so ask public key part and send them the private key part without a hosting site, i.e., by PM or email. Anyway, I don't think it works well as there are users and sites which will generate free vanity address(es) if you send them the public key part. If you can generate an address with 10+ letters, you may have chance. Smiley

7209  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: September 13, 2014, 07:34:30 AM
The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every hour.

The new membergroup limits work like this:
GroupRequirement
Brand New0 posts
Newbie(none)
Jr. Memberactivity: 30
Memberactivity: 60
Full Memberactivity: 120
Sr. Memberactivity: 240
Hero Memberactivity: 480

I'm not 100% sure that the membergroups work correctly. Tell me if you see any bugs.

Kind of annoying cause i have posted 30 plus posts and im still newbie

It's not post that matters, it is activity. Your activity is 14, so it should be 30 by 4 weeks, then you will become Jr. member. Smiley Good Luck!

P.S. Check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=582736.0 for timings! Smiley

I have 30+ post and only 14 activit Huh dunno exact how this work

You will get 14 activity per 2 weeks interval if you post 14 posts. No matter how many you post, you will only get 14 activity per 2 weeks interval.

P.S. Check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=582736.0 for timings! Smiley

Great project! Looking forward about it! Smiley I live in India. Can I use standard shipping? Is there any way to import private key? I mostly use vanity address, so it would help me.

  ~~MZ~~

Thanks ! You can always try standard shipping, absolutely no warranties as I've never tried a standard delivery to India Smiley

You cannot import a private key in regular wallet mode to avoid losing keys, but you can play with it in developer mode if you want (no wallet is supporting this mode for the time being though) - we might support sweeping a few keys in a future release if we get enough code space to add that feature.

Can you tell me ETA of the shipment? I just want to enter the address according to it. Smiley

Stellar still giving stellar coins? Does new facebook account accepted?

Yes, they are but will take sometime as new users will be added to waiting list and it will take sometime to make a payout manually. Roll Eyes

Clear would be freakin' epic!
That would never work, because then anyone could access your private keys inside... /s
No problem, you just write "private - don't read" next to them.

If you write like that, all most all of them who see it will try to open it. It's a psychological fact. Roll Eyes . Better thing is just leave than writing 'don't read' . Smiley

Thanks, this was usefull to me as the whole formula for activity is a bit complicated (I guess it has to be?)

You can see the timings here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=582736.0 . There is timings till 2060.

Thanks, just what i was afrer.
Openkeychain needs strange premissions to download, accsess to photo album ect, but shold be ok.

That isn't okay, really. There is no need for accessing photo albums and all, unless the app encrypt such files too. Do the app do such thing? Otherwise, it isn't a good idea. Better not to risk it.

Anybody know any iOS PGP app? It should be available in India too.

7219  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the difference between Offline & Online wallets ? on: September 10, 2014, 03:56:55 PM
Multibit will do the job. If you want most secure wallet, you can use Armory but it will take some time to download whole blockchain(~<30 GB). Web-based wallets are not much secure. One of the oldest and the best online wallet is blockchain.info wallet. They have good features. I suggest you to stick with Multibit and also try to install an antivirus such as avast(freeware) or kaspersky. There are many trojans, malware and adwares which will steal your BTC mostly by stealing your private key.

7220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple & Bitcoin on: September 10, 2014, 03:49:33 PM
I think Apple is still dumb enough to see BTC as an enemy.

I don't think they are 'dump'. They have their own ideas which may think stupid/dump but that ideas made that company to reach this position. And also, I don't think Apple is seeing BTC as their enemy. We can just hope that Apple will accept BTC soon!
