7446  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do people who rent out Mining hardware earn profit? on: August 12, 2014, 01:22:17 PM
If i have to analyze it.

The person who owns the devices would be mining himself if it really is profitable. compare to leasing those devices which limits his earnings.

It's logical but in practically/reality, leasing rig is more profitable. I checked using BTC profitability calculator.

7447  Other / Meta / Re: question about selling hero member accounts... on: August 12, 2014, 01:19:06 PM
If you are thinking about selling, I request you not to do it as the buyer may scam people.

Yes they can.

For me personally it depends on the reason of selling/buying. As long as people use it for signature campaigns I don't really mind. Sad enough the accounts are often used for scamming as well.

And often the people buying them get scammed as well, especially if they don't use escrow, but also because they're easily recoverable by PMing theymos.

I doubt that. My previous account got hacked during the bitcointalk.org hack last year. I PMed Theymos a few times about recovering my account, including loads of evidence that I actually owned the account, but he never responded. Someone ended up getting scammed for 12 BTC by my hacked account :S

Couldn't you prove the ownership? Didn't you sign msg? 2FA is coming in new forum, it will give more security Smiley . IMO, an approval mail should be sent to the corresponding email of the account if there is change in email address, gives better security, unless it changed by Theymos or Badbear(Mostly when recovering account)

How are MoneyPaks unsafe? If they buy with cash and I fund my green dot re loadable visa with it, can it be reversed?

Yes. It has been done between BCB and danieldaniel.
Dang.

Thoughts on MoneyGram?

MoneyGram is like PayPal too. It is reversible and thus always protect senders. See http://ecrimeexpertblog.wordpress.com/2011/09/30/exposing-how-scammers-use-western-union-and-moneygram-for-fraud/ for detailed explanation.

Not paying out signature payments.  Over two fays late and little updates/communication.  Stay away from related services/activities.

Neg. Trust left.  Anyone going to create a scammer thread?

Also, with payments this late, shouldn't we get like another bitcent or two?  As of now, I still have my signature.  I'll be changing it in a few hours (still expecting payment, of course). So could anyone be kind enough to take a screenshots of this message as proof that I still have my Sig up to now? Thanks Smiley. I've Mae well over 100 posts this term as well.

As said earlier, neg trust is enough now, start scammer thread later.

Why did he suddenly become like this? Huh I hope he will pay us soon and I hope he isn't a scammer. Roll Eyes

Is there any active campaign for me except gambling/dice campaigns?

Spirit? What spirit are you talking about

He wants some motivation to earn.

I think users are being mistaken easily when reading the word 'get' .

I make .5 BTC but through my regular job.  I wonder if you meant mining, that would be cool is someone made that much through mining, though they must have a heck of an electric bill every month  Cheesy

Wow, 0.2 BTC or the equivalent in USD (or your local FIAT currency). Anyways, that's a nice paying job, I guess! Having an stable income of stable FIAT money is very important, I hope people invested in Bitcoin do realize this!!!

I saw that in freelancer.in, people pay $300+ per job. So if a person do 2 jobs he can earn 1 BTC per day. But it is hard, only a skilled person can do it.

Why is people promoting sexcoin, no porn please Smiley..

+1.
Some cryptos now came based on sex. Why are you guys promoting such coins and websites? I though BT will be clean and tidy. Sad No rule on posting NSFW consent?

Why are you distracting others and destroying their lives? Just search on internet, how it affect person'a behavior and his/her life? Please try to be good. Smiley

7457  Economy / Economics / Re: Does BTC.com Really Worth $1 Million? AND What Would You Do With it? on: August 11, 2014, 09:54:21 AM
I think GAW Miners, have something in plan that will make a lot of money with it.

I like I get sites but I won't buy a site with 1 Million unless it can make me a lot of money at least decent profit.

7458  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet Backup - How while mining? on: August 11, 2014, 09:52:17 AM
Your back up is good.
It will not be obsolete unless it is affected by virus or other such things.
You can change the mining address while the rig is on but before the  scheduled withdrawal time.
If you are mining in a p2pool node and if you mined some, then change the address after you got the initial amount.

if you blockchain.info you will get BTC address that you will use to get BTC
also you will get back up if you forget the password
just input your activation email and then you will get the new password
thanks ...

Can I ask you what you are pointing? You already told similar thing in another post. From his post you can understand he isn't using a web wallet. So try to avoid such posts. Beware of Mod, my friend! Smiley

In second post of this thread I saw the last update of the list was on 25.05.2014 . So wasn't there any jackpot winners? Or was the list moved to another post?

7460  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: August 11, 2014, 09:14:32 AM
In members page, the position is in this order : VIP>Staff>Sr.Member . So where is Hero Member? Was Hero Member applied later but didn't changed the code in the navigation page? Can you change it to : Administrator > Global Moderator > Moderator > Staff(If any) > VIP > Legendary > Hero Member and so on or VIP after admin or global mod?

What is the benefit of having legendary rank other than sound cool?

Not at all, I presume the same benefits with hero member.

We can say : I have been here for a long time, at current ranking, we can say, I have been here for over 2 years. Grin . I think he will make some privilege for them. In sigs, IMO, he can implement images for Legendary Members ( using [img] tag ) OR he can implement image for Hero Members and splash for Legendary Members. I think Theymos is applying the rank manually, if it is, then he can give privileges to them such as moving topic if it is not in the correct section and locking posts.
