7723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoins are not stolen .. on: July 21, 2014, 11:50:52 AM
I'd been keeping my bitcoins since 2011, and isn't that difficult. Just that I use Linux, have no Win computer, and store some of them under different approaches, including "in the outer space" (brainwallets)

Linux is better than Windows as it is virus free. I also use Linux. If you want to give your BTC to your Son/Daughter, then brainwallets will be useless if you die unless you tell them. It will be good if you convert them to Fiat currency, if the USD/BTC price is average or higher.

Need suggestion...
Multisig is better, right? For families, it will be better to use multisig. So why don't you use Multisig?

7724  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I Get Free Electric, Need Help! on: July 21, 2014, 11:50:20 AM
thanks Smiley ive been looking at the s2 which looks better than the s3 but is sold out at the mo, also thinking about waiting for a 6t/hs to come out but was just wondering if there was anything better for someone whom isn't energy efficient consious

S2 isn't a better option. Buy S3. Smiley When you buy from any sites, look the review of the site in bitcointalk and other sites for your own safety. I don't know any reviews about the site but check for yourself, I think it is better : www.minersbox.com.

7726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoin wallet - on a new computer? on: July 21, 2014, 11:18:57 AM
Ok, taking a crazy amount of time to sync...I'll give it a go once it's done. Thanks everyone!

Turn on bitcoin on both pcs while connected to the same network.  On the new pc add a connect=123.13.123.123 to the config or command line of bitcoin where you replace the ip with the lan ip of the old pc.

Sync will go much quicker as the nodes will talk to each other rather than over the internet.

Once it's done you can remove bitcoin form the old machine.  Also remove the connect line from the new machine's config.

I didn't heard about this. Will this faster the syncing process(via localhost)? Should I replace the IP or add it to config?
Kindly,
       MZ
7727  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Browser You Use on: July 20, 2014, 04:11:07 PM
Totally depends. But I don't like the Firefox anymore. Sure if was FF that began to reclaim the web from the grasps of IE but have you ever hit 'back' in FF? The thing forgets about your text you've just input in the fields! Chrome remembers them! Also, sometimes FF just doesn't start up correctly. If you then start it again it complains that it's already running! Lazy fox!

+1.
Earlier I could open recently closed sites when I become offline but now it doesn't allow that feature, that was the only problem I had. Anyway, it is still the best.

7728  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Browser You Use on: July 20, 2014, 04:07:58 PM
I use Chrome. It is one of the three best browsers I ever used. I recommend it to you as you want to migrate from Firefox. Smiley

7729  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Discussion about post quality for PRIMEDICE signature campaign. on: July 20, 2014, 03:15:23 PM
This month he paid out 30 BTC for sigs . 30 btc !!!!!!!
That is hugeeee...

Why is he running a campaign like this? Is it to make the way to earn BTC much easier and to promote his site or just to promote his site? Roll Eyes
Kindly,
      MZ

Yeah, it's a lot of BTC, but hey... it is advertisement! Stunna recieves a hell lot of customers this was. It is not like he's just giving the money away, those enrolled in the campaign post and post and post and post! They're working for him!!!

I know that people are working for him but is he getting enough BTC from Primedice for at-least making it neutral?

Where is the blockchain saved on my PC, should it be in the directory with the executables?  Whats the file name?  Size?

Thanks!

In Windows, it is in AppData/Roaming/Bitmonero and in Linux ~/.bitmonero.

7732  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] LuckyCheckIN.com - time based faucet ! up to 2.000.000 Satoshi / 5 min.! on: July 20, 2014, 02:58:53 PM
i dont get updates to my winnings since i have arrived to the winning value of " 0,00010946 BTC"... Huh

What is going on?

GroundZero

Can you give me more details?
If you got checkins( current price~15 satoshi) every 5 minute it will not included in the main balance. It will be converted into BTC every month.
Kindly,
       MZ

I have tried again ...

So i have 190 checkins , but the " Balance" value is stalled at " 0.00010948 " Huh

Is this a bug?

What have the owner to say about this issue?

GroundZero

I think it was yesterday that I was noticing the same thing. Did a lot of checkins and never won anything and yet the day before I was winning. Haven't played in about 24 hours though so maybe it's working now.

Your balance will only increase if you get satoshis and on each month, when the checkins conver into satoshis. You can see checkins' balance and your account balance in two different columns. Don't worry, your balance will increase soon! - end of this month and also when you get satoshis.

7733  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] LuckyCheckIN.com - time based faucet ! up to 2.000.000 Satoshi / 5 min.! on: July 20, 2014, 02:54:53 PM
Gonna try this ... but it isn't exactly 2000000 satoshi now?

Now it is 1200000 satoshi. It will depend on the USD/BTC price, I think. Anyway it is better than other faucets, which makes your time useless.

thank you ...used pscp to do transfer. daemon synced...waiting on wallet to sync as well.... all running through ssh on headless linux system booted from Ubuntu 12.10 on 16gb USB...only 6% space left  Roll Eyes

^Copy your .keys file to linux and open the wallet as ususal - a new .bin file will be created based on the .keys.

For 16 GB, it would be better if you install Debian or Lubuntu or any lighter distros or just buy a 32 GB USB. Smiley

7738  Other / Meta / Guide On Installing Bitcointalk++ Script On Android. on: July 20, 2014, 12:41:58 PM
Hello!
I tried installing BT++ script using Tampermonkey. I tried many ways but I couldn't do it. I found an easier way to install any userscripts.
1) Download and install Opera Mobile Labs( with extensions ).
2) Download Violent - monkey -1.5.1.1-1.oex file and copy to your sdcard.
3) Open Opera and navigate to the oex file in URL bar : file://sdcard/violent-monkey-1.5.1.1-1.oex and click Yes.
Note : If you copied into any other folders, add it.
4) Go to btpp.user.js on Github and click raw.
Congrats!!! Now you installed BT++ script.
Note : If you want to install other userscripts, from github, you can install by clicking raw and for other userscripts, you will have to download it and navigate like you installed Violent monkey.
Don't install latest version of violent monkey as it has some problems when viewing in android. You can give it a try though.

7740  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] .0029 BTC per GH/s - 5 year contract **www.BitcoinCloudServices.com** on: July 20, 2014, 11:45:21 AM
0.0001 cheaper than pbmining.com  Cheesy, but 0.0004 more expensive than lunamine.com

i think to invest some my BTC here, if stability, trustworth and support is better than both of them

I don't know about stability and trustworthy but support is better than pbmining.
