BTW, the EVGA 1300 SuperNova G2 has only 6 PCI-E. If you want to overclock two S3, you need 8 PCI-E. I guess you can buy some adapters to fit the two missing.

I went for a Corsair RM-1000.

another long block, bad week Embarrassed
We are now 1% of the network.
When we solo mined we stopped when we became only 1% of the network because variance starts to rear its ugly head.    We need all these spondoolies and ants that were delivered to point some here.   On average, we will hit a block every 16 hours so do not start to stress until it is a couple days.  It just sucks since the electric bill does not seem to share this variance in timing nor price.    But everyone is having a tough time right now (maybe the adjustment was too high).

but this happens in this pool, or if you mine in another you will find blocks faster? Or this happens in every pool maybe?. (i mean this week). i come from slush and i prefer better this one, but this week is a disaster with long blocks.

Im not going to leave of course, but yeah........ sucks that just 1 block every 16 hours, and again already almost 20 hours and counting.

anyways like rewards are based on shifts, you can just say i go to another pool and try luck there on these bad days here because of long blocks, because you will lose your reward, so its ok, i will just hope everything goes better some day xD

Sometimes when it rains, it pours other times it sprinkles but there are always rainbows. Besides I was really thinking about forking some usd for that s3...but it seems like I won't get it till the end of next month.  Has anyone purchase them yet?

Yeah got two of the first batch ^_^

Hope so... for new users like me, last week was great and now this.... its incredible are we going to find block at 99,99%?Huh omggggg Undecided
Since you are a new user, I want to make sure you are aware of how much capacity was added to the network in the last 11 days.   If you are not, you should research around a bit but adding over 20,000 TH/s in that time is really unbelievable.   Think of how many huge farms this must be.   All in 11 days (actually less).

over 20,000 TH/s ? omg... well lets hope we finally found the @#@#@#@ block and next ones dont take that long to find Wink

99.99 CDF is still possibility ;-)

I sent my payment within 10 mins, no confirmation, bitcoins are gone, unpaid, unshipped, expired.

fuck me ...

they will sort it out if you've got blockchain confirms
did you include the miners fee?

they also have bizarre paid, confirmed, expired notion on one of my orders.
i've got 10 confirms on that one

When you say miners fee, do you mean the .001 btc on top of the amount I send?  If so then I did.

you overpaid...minimal 0.0001 now

Guess that's it, didn't include any fees. Got 2 confirmation now. That is why it took forever.

Bitmain is very good about manually changing your order to paid / valid.  You can wait an hour or two then shoot them a quick email with your payment address.

Mine has 0 confirmation. what is very strange

I'm not worried, it's just a pain. E-mail already sent.

Oh man I didnt expect the minimum order to be 2. Had to dump some BC and now the BTC is stuck as pending to my wallet

You have 1 hour to complete de transaction with bitmaintech, you should have it before that.

bitminter has my bitcoins/namecoins and site staff/ owner is ignoring me

I was a little behind on support messages.

I wasn't ignoring you or trying to steal your coins. Don't you think it was a little early to assume so?

He pushed the panic button ;-)

Happens we have all pushed that button once in a while when it comes to BTC/ Alt coins.  Myself included.
I've smashed the hell out of that button once or twice lol

LOLOL Cheesy

To open a, not so old wound, it looks like Multipool may have some vindication.  It's been 5 days since Koi has solved a block. Luck may just be luck since no one is going to question his equipment.

I guess that's why even someone with Koi's hash power mines at a pool.

Yup.  Looks like about 6 days now.

Koi for president ! Tongue #justkidding

Wondering if a 1000 Watt PSU will be enough for 2 S3 ... (Overlocked)

On the higher side: As per my calculation maximum power consumption is 550W.
If overclocking is possible with low percentage of hardware error to such an extend then 1000Watts PSU is just not enough to handle 2 S3.
But in practical case, I mean a fair overclocking, a good 80 plus PSU can easily handle 2 S3s.
If that 1000W psu is not yet brought consider buying 1200W PSU.
PSUs are not worthless at the end, it will follow you for many year unlike ASICs miners.

I'm just wondering if we will be able to push them that much since it's the max. If we take the S1 in consideration, i'm running mine at around 420 watt and two of them on a Corsair RM 1000. I wanted to get one for my S3.

Is EVGA any good ? I can get a 1300Watt (80 plus gold) if i add 20$.

Thanks Wink

i can run 3 s-1 on the evga 1300 pulls 1215 watts at freq 393 hashes at 600 for the 3

Thanks for the feedback on the EVGA.
I think i will get one for my two S3. (overclocked, if it's possible)
1833  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: June 26, 2014, 11:21:07 PM
I bring the 1000 Watt discussion in case I wanted to overclock my S3. Since the Max output is 550 watt, 1000W won't be enough to feed 2 overclocked S3.

Even if i can overclock them to 500Watt each max.

I will get the EVGA 1300. I have not intention to try to feed 3 S3 with one PSU, unless I am about to underclock them.

EDIT: I wish we knew how far we can push them

That would be all.

Still down here too.

It's 6:30 AM in Germany. I know what I'd be doing at that time of the day.  Wink

Any word on what is causing the outage?

Didn't find any informations about it anywhere. Switched my gears to an other pool for the moment.
