121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ImToken lost mnemonic on: March 02, 2020, 12:02:48 PM
If you lost or misplaced your mnemonic phrases there is nothing that can be done about it rather than to trace your steps back to check if you can remember writing it down or forgetting about it. On the other hand, you don't need mnemonic phrases to send out tokens from your imtoken wallet all you need is the right combination of passwords. Also, if you can access your wallet that means there are chances you can still get your mnemonic phrases.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question about BNB's future on: February 29, 2020, 12:00:46 PM
Hello everyone. Recently I was thinking about starting to mine BNB. I began to study this issue and found an article that contains different public leaders' opinions that this coin will confidently grow in price over the next five years. What do you think, what future awaits this coin? Is it worth it now to engage in its mine?

Mining BNB is not possible, it wasn't developed as such. BNB can only be gotten from its exchange , the Binance exchange. Asking about the future of a coin in this space is difficult because it is affected by many things, one of which is the unpredictable nature of this space. On the other hand, BNB is one of the good altcoins owing to how the platform (its exchange) is being managed and maintained, but anyone giving account on the price of BNB 5 years from now is only but speculating as it is not possible to do such prediction; but does not mean that holding is wrong.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please help! Is this scam or not? on: February 29, 2020, 11:52:46 AM
Hi All, a friend send me a message with info about a new token name NLC (Night Light Coin) with domain nlccoin.com
But the condition to receive the token airdrop is have to transfer ETH to this address: 0x36afEe66EA8d6a99A9c6c7e676D512eA4A19bC83
I'm not sure if this project is real or from any scammer to cheat everyone. Please give me some advice
Thank you

The first question you should have asked yourself is, why should I send ETH to get an airdrop of a token which might not worth it? I see it as exchanging ETH for a worthless token all in the name of airdrop, thereby I call it scam and you should be careful of it. Airdrop is a free token, it is not paid for but given to users when they help promote a platform, therefore any airdrop asking for Eth isn't an airdrop rather the creators are only after your ETH and should be overlooked.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Support Deposit and Withdrawaals in Hongkong on: February 27, 2020, 11:45:44 AM
Binance will keep taking more steps forward towards achieving their set goals. When most exchanges are still thinking of what to do, Binance is already doing it, calling for easy access to cryptocurrencies irrespective of the location or rather once crypto is acceptable in that location or country. Now it is Hong Kong, who knows the one that will come next because another is coming as more countries are still left out. I really like this and wish exchanges like Okex will follow suit so as to make it interesting and challenging which will in the long run draw the neccessary attention while setting right various misinformation about crypto and blockchain.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the speed of the blockchains on: February 27, 2020, 11:38:43 AM
This is really good and yes speed matter mostly for mass adoption but all these make me to wonder why they are still finding it hard to beat Bitcoin or even Ethereum. I remembered Quarkchain also promised high speed, we even heard of blockchain 3.0 and so on and yet it seems they are a shadow of themselves. I think the problem is, they are focusing more on how to beat another coin instead of focusing more on how to improve on what they have so they can stand a better chance in the future. Another problem is, most of these projects don't plan for long term growth, improvement or upgrades, once they have gotten the attention of the public they tend to relax and once that lack of zeal is found wanting the investors will start taking their leave.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RSK: The Ethereum Killer? on: February 26, 2020, 12:24:21 PM
RSK sure is a good platform but it might never be able to overtake Ethereum. Before we used to hear about many projects which claims to offer better services and features than Bitcoin, some even claimed to offer more TPS but where are they now? They are a shadow of themselves. Same was said about Ethereum where many upcoming blockchains claims to overtake it yet Ethereum is still there waxing strong. What I understand is, the issue isn't about beating Ethereum or any other coin it is about a project sticking to what it believes in, developing and improving it; it is only through this way that they can have a good competition with Ethereum. Until then Ethereum is still hard to be beaten because most projects aren't even prepared for long term development.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Binance beat Ethereum on: February 26, 2020, 12:16:57 PM
Binance coin was hit to Coinmarketcap around 25 Jul, 2017. At the time BNB was trading nearly $0.10 with 10 Mln USD market cap, trading at its own Exchange Binance. whereas at the same time Ethereum was trading around $225 per Eth, having more than 21 Bln USDT Marketcap. Later on Ethereum Blockchain was well in business and marke its all time high price $1368 per coin and its market was cap was above 132 bln usd. This time was early 2018 and all market was at its peak. People were expecting about Ethereum will soon overtake Bitcoin and this all was due to Ethereum Blockchain adoption for new ICOs launching with the help of smart contract of Ethereum Blockchain.

But this all was slowdown gradully due to fake ICOs. With all this happening entire market was in downtrend which is still continue. Where this was badly effect whole crypto market but Ethereum was also in correction and this was lead its value to the agin under $200.

Now here is the other story of Binance. In the same time Binance was in serious busniess and its addoption was over the Moon. So, Binance was in race of becoming World No.1 Exchacge by beating Bittrex and it done the job, the other side its Binance coin was making business day by day.

Binance management very smartly engaging its native coine into miltiple purpose and make it one of the best cryptocurrency in Bolckchain Industry.

We all well aware how last year Binace utlise its Exchange and develop their Binace coin market. Here i want to mention some core businesses operating by Binance Team.

  • Binance Exchange
  • Binance DEX
  • Binance Chain
  • Binance Fiat services
  • Binance Launchpad
  • Having giant partners

Binance acquire Trust Wallet, WazirX Indian Market.

Binance coin will make history buy using like these above mentioned features and many more.

I think someday BNB will beat ETH, What you Think Smiley

To start with both are good platforms serving different uses and users. Ethereum has contributed a whole lot to the blockchain space so is Binance, but even at this, thinking that Binance will best Ethereum won't happen. Yes Binance has many services and out of which or out of what you listed, only the exchange it self is worth noting. In the fiat services, other exchange will start theirs soon, other exchanges have their own launchpad too, Binance Dex is already losing its touch owing to low volume. Am not saying Binance isn't good, Binance is one of the best exchanges but almost everything within its platform can be found in others, now the question is, can they deal with the competition? Ethereum on the other hand has dealt with many competitions yet stil remain on top that shows it will be hard to be overtaken.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects are now showing up on: February 26, 2020, 11:22:21 AM
Becareful fellas, new projects are now showing up just because of the Bitcoin hype growing around the internet, the FOMO is alive and no one wants to miss out, now new projects are joining the train as well, behold 'its all about money making' ,do not entirely put your trust in new projects, even new bounties are showing up too, I pity you if you don't know how to patiently do some research

They are coming out from their hiding place to take their own share of what crypto offers from the gullible users, we all should be careful of these projects coming up now as close to 90% and even more don't have the best interest of users, they are only after their own satisfaction.
Furthermore, even if we would like to invest, starting from good research is the best way to begin followed by investing wisely not your entire balance as most of these upcoming projects are not to be trusted; and just like earlier stated, not putting all trust on new projects is also good.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has Blockchain Technology revolution is successful or not? on: February 25, 2020, 11:40:58 AM
Since the introduction of the cryptocurrency (Bitcoin and Alts) and its revolutionary Technology called Blockchain, way back the year 2008 until now, what was the development they are contributed to our society and how the blockchain technology helping our current industries and services? is the Blockchain Technology revolution is successful or not? Is there any alternative drop in your opinion below!

We are not yet fully there but can say vividly that we have come along way and as such closer to it. Before now, there haven't been many systems or platforms outside this space which think blockchain was worth it, but nowadays they are getting involved gradually as they have seen that the future is bright. Yes blockchain and as such cryptocurrencies has contributed massively well to the society such as in the payment of some online product and services with crypto, such as in the easy transfer of crypto to friends and families who can then convert to their desired fiat. Also, owing to the immutable nature of a decentralized blockchain, many projects are looking into it already to improve their security, smartphones manufacturers are adding blockchain features etc. Lastly I can say so far, it has been a success but more is still needed.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Chain or Binance DEX hype is gone! on: February 25, 2020, 11:31:55 AM
I remember last year, everyone was so hyped about the Binance DEX! Any project goes for Binance chain got huge pumped and price to become very high! Many good projects kept migrating from Ethereum to Binance blockchain! Even people started saying that Binance chain will be bigger than the Ethereum network at the end of 2019! What happened then? Right now, there is no hype for Binance chain and many coins have shit volume in Binance DEX! Do you think any other chain can overtake the giant Ethereum Network?

That's what happens when hype leads the way instead of features and functions which will show how strong and reliable a platform or blockchain is. They all said many things about Ethereum blockchain and how it wasn't there best interest then the reason to move to Binance chain which of course, causes the price of those migrating projects to surge but after listing and till now, where is the hype? What positive impact have those projects experienced now? Am not against any project moving to their desired blockchain but let it be for a good reason not just for hype, because hype don't last.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guys, be aware of a new scam! Stay safe with your funds! on: February 25, 2020, 11:26:56 AM
As the crypto community become smart, scammers are not just sitting there. They are making new plans to scam people. Recently a smart scam idea they whelp and that is youtube live streaming! Lots of people are falling those scams even one of my crypto mentors shared that link to participate!

Scammers are hacking youtube channels which have at least 10K subscribers to 80K! Then they collect some famous crypto meetup or interview videos! Later they make live streaming with that downloaded video, and announce a giveaway of 100K BTC or 100K ETH, BCH, XRP and so on! Can you imagine how smart this shit idea is? However, at the corner or left side of that live streaming they add a live transaction banner where you can see that if you send 1 Ethereum, you will get 5 or 10 Ethereum instantly!

If you ever fall in that trap means you are done, you fall in the scam and lost your money forever! Guys, be aware, always check a coin's official twitter handle to verify every giveaway! Don't fall in the scam, let scammers cry and die!

Scammers will keep looking for ways to act on the intelligence of people and one of this ways is displaying that which attracts most people. Just like you said, they know the value of ETH and thus display to all those who cares to listen what is in for them, but those people who always fall for such fails to ask themselves questions such as, how can a project afford to spend such amount of ETH when there is no promotion or marketing going on, just send 1 and get 5 ETH just like that. Let's be careful of what we crave for and the information we listen to as most are a medium to get to us.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not FOMO on newly listed altcoins on Binance on: February 24, 2020, 11:43:18 AM
Recently there have been a craze and buy rush for any coin new listed on Binance but usually turns to a nightmare for those who FOMO too early. $MBL which was listed today because they won vote for community coin dumped from 59 sats to 30 sats within some minutes. This was the case with LTO too. My little advise to traders, (especially newbie traders) is to analyze properly before diving into buying a newly listed coin on Binance especially and other exchanges with such hype. Even if you must do, use tight SL and moreover there is no point chasing a moving train.

Chasing after a moving train in this case, a newly listed coin is a terrible idea because doing such means fomo is already in place which will likely end badly at least from other experiences. This fomo being talked about isn't only on Binance it is on other exchanges but the issue is the one of Binance always comes with many hype thus everyone seeking for profit which then lead to dump in price. And just like you rightly pointed out, making good analysis on any coin before buy is the best way to start and using stop loss too is also good as well.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOU need to Stop using YOUTUBE! come and check this new platform! on: February 24, 2020, 11:26:25 AM
I love this and really wish the team will continue developing it until it comes a huge success one which will maintain a competitive advantage. Most developers have come up with good ideas but with lack of commitment ends up postponing their roadmap which of course affect the project. Therefore as this platform is still in beta stage, let me team try as much as possible to ensure the stick to their idea and objectives; with the presence of a reward system users will get involved gradually.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: February 24, 2020, 11:21:53 AM

Bitcoin dominance is above 65% which is something unusual since Altcoins started getting more interest from investors. It also seems that this percentage is increasing steadily for quite some time now. This is not surprising since Bitcoin was the most profitable coin in 2019 and people don't take the risk investing in altcoins anymore, they realized that Bitcoin is less risky as the price almost always eventually recover afterwards when it comes to BTC.

So what  to do you think? Are altcoin getting boycotted, giving Bitcoin an increasing dominance from now on?

It's not true, they aren't getting sidelined or boycotted. Yes Bitcoin dominance is what it is because it tends to offer more than altcoins but doesn't mean altcoins aren't worth it. If people aren't seeing altcoins as worth their investment most major altcoins will suffer it terribly but it's not rather only altcoins which are seen as not bringing anything good are the ones being boycotted. The problem is, most developers care less for their projects and thus it suffers  while those who cares more keeps attracting investors. So in all ramifications, good altcoins are still invested in while the others are packing up.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another STO failed! STO won't work anymore. on: February 21, 2020, 11:42:58 AM
Today I just noticed another good looking STO failed, and that STO project name is Liqio Exchange! I have never seen an STO that raised good money and doing good in the market! So why they keep coming I don't have any idea about it. I told all my friends that don't join in any STO bounty, just ignore them.

Liqio STO failed, source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5210813.0

It is really not encouraging in the STO method where most if not all project looking for funding through STO always fail. With this failure rate I doubt if any new project will stil take that route because it is clear STO method of funding isn't a good and favourable one. Also, it is clear that nowadays people are more after IEOs than any other method since it proves to be better and more secured also taking into account the exchange it will take place on.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Best Cryptocurrency Exchanges for Crypto Trading in 2019 on: February 21, 2020, 11:31:05 AM
The best exchanges last year which also is moving forward this year are those which we already know because of their users and trading volume. While others still maintains their withdrawal fee they oe rather some reduced theirs and many more services. I don't use Coinbase for anything therefore my opinion will be based on those I have used consistently thus knowing which is better or not and they are Binance, which is followed by Okex, Kucoin and Huobi.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: February 21, 2020, 11:24:05 AM
Newbies needs to be prepared for this coming new year, scammers will try to take advantage of that year because bitcoin halving is already dropping the HYPE in crypto space  already, Learn to do research better, not all bad results in crypto are because a project failed, mostly are because of lack of research, with no good research you can easily fall for scam projects.

1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them

2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too

3) If you you have to invest always invest what you can afford to lose.

This is just the simple truth and best advice too, I think this is not just for newbies but for everyone in this community. Although some people might grounded in some aspects they might not be in some as well. Doing research on any project is really the first thing to be done before even going deeper or thinking of releasing funds for investment. And lastly, but very important, investing what one can afford is the best thing always not selling properties to invest because someone hyped the project etc.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with so many pages in one thread on: February 20, 2020, 11:59:17 PM
If a crypto project has so many pages in just one single thread on this forum, does that mean they are doing good work with their project, keeping focused every day and their supporters are also active and contributing with good content each day? or a project having many pages in one thread has to do with other reasons?

I have seen the Dash project, for example, having a lot of pages in just one thread, and they are one of the top threads in the altcoins section.

If a project has many pages and they keep very active does that guarantees the potential buyers a good investment with them?

In my own opinion I think it is a good thing as it displays the readiness of the team as well as the users to ensure the platform grows so as to benefit all. A project with such thread will be filled with questions, answers, ideas, discussion, possible solutions and ways to advance so as to remain relevant on the long run. Also, any type of investors that gets associated with such projects thread will be moved to invest as he has seen how the platform is being run and managed.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By now, is it worth to invest in major altcoins for the long term? on: February 19, 2020, 11:44:37 AM

I have been hearing that even major altcoins are gradually losing its value.

For long term investment purpose, no more investing in major altcoins recommended?

Btw, has anyone experienced BISPEX exchange known as its insurance funding?

Major altcoins losing value? I don't really understand, if major altcoins are losing value what of others which are a bit good? Nevertheless, I don't believe such, during bear market every coin was affected and when the market changes it was only few that were showing signs of recovery and most of them were major altcoins. In the same way, apart from Bitcoin which is far better for long term investment major altcoins are also good for long term investment; I can only mention three, ETH, XLM and BNB. Major altcoins are highly recommended for long term investment and not some types of altcoin which might carry out a swap and you will end up losing if you aren't aware.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: February 19, 2020, 11:31:08 AM
The first and second is very deadly and can deal with the person mercilessly. Most people invest because of what they heard from so called experts and because its from them then there is no need to make further research. To make it worst, most people invest with everything they have all a bid to make it once forgetting that in this space projects can disappoint and experts can also be after their own gains could be they were paid to promote. Trust on the other hand is expensive and shouldn't be joked with but most tends to trust whatever the team say forgetting they are also humans and therefore can disappoint as well. The most important thing is, invest what you can afford to let go, study every project on your own and don't trust everything you hear.
