441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't follow the hype on: May 10, 2019, 11:45:23 PM
Hype has never done anything right or give investors the right value they deserve from projects they invest in. I agree with you, it is time to stop following hype and follow projects with good track records as they are the ones that will pay off on the long run.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Binance increase again? on: May 10, 2019, 11:43:06 PM
Of a truth yes, Binance will rise again. The truth is, Binance has gotten to the level that allowing it's reputation to be tarnished is far fetched. Everything in this world in some stages passes through challenges which strengthen and make it stronger. Binance will come out stronger, wait for it.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think will outperform btc in the upcoming crypto summer? on: May 10, 2019, 11:40:16 PM
If you take a good look at BTC and the way investors invest in it, you will see it is a clear sign of a project with great value, and it is this value that keeps driving or attracting more investors. So to your question, there is no altcoin that can outperform BTC.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: May 06, 2019, 06:47:18 PM
First I see shitcoins as coins not listed anywhere, as a coin listed in exchange but has a low price might still have a chance of recovery.
Seriously it pains to those worthless coins in my wallet, but as it stands there is no way to get rid of them so am still holding them while hoping one day they might get listed.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardcap ICO is no guarantee that the project will succeed on: May 06, 2019, 06:39:06 PM
I will agree with you to a certian extent. First, yes it is true that a project reaching Hardcap doesn't mean it will deliver as promised, as this depends solely on the team and their experience. In the same way, there are Projects which met sotfcap and still fails to deliver.
On the other hand, there are most projects which achieved hard cap and still succeds in delivering what they promised, at the same time there are others which proceeds in delivering their promise just with soft cap.
So the success of a project depends mainly on the team.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are IEO's bad? on: May 06, 2019, 06:34:21 PM
IEOs are not meant to be bad, rather they are meant to reduce scam while helping upcoming projects raise funds. But on the other hand, they way it is going, your last sentence is what it looks like; that is, nowadays investors only concentrate on the exchange and it's ability to give them reasonable return while forgetting what the project is all about or if the team is capable.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price is not everything! on: May 06, 2019, 06:30:45 PM
I agree with you. But from the look of things, when a project is over hyped, investors will only think about the price which in most cases don't turn out as they wish. On the other hand, when an investor invests in a project he believes in, he will be patient; in addition to this the team also keeps developing the project while reaffirming investors trust.
So price don't always matters, rather the underlying innovations which will make the project valuable on the long run.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is patience really a personal business in Crypto? on: May 06, 2019, 06:26:05 PM
It involves both; patience is a great virtue and when applied appropriately you will reap in this space. Now when I say "appropriately" I mean been patient when holding a potential coin. On the other hand is smart work, which in my opinion involves knowing your way about be it in trading, holding etc.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin reach 6000 this month? on: May 05, 2019, 07:00:47 PM
This month is still fresh and with Bitcoin current price in addition to the attention it is getting recently, it might cross 6k$ this month. Nevertheless, this space is unpredictable, so am keeping my fingers crossed while hoping for the best.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be aware of the new exchange's IEO! on: May 05, 2019, 06:33:33 PM
In as much as IEO is trending today, there are individuals who would still want to make away with investors money. So, just like making a good research before investing in ICOs one should also ensure to be careful of the IEO he goes for. A new exchange promoting an IEO; investors should make adequate research before investing in such.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Should I Expect The Next Bull Run? on: May 05, 2019, 06:29:50 PM
Sincerely, there is no time frame nor can anyone perfectly predict the next bull run. The truth is, this is what is on the lips of many. Nevertheless, taking a good look on the market one can say there are traces of recovery, coupled with crypto adoption news.
And it also worthy to note that during this time, if you are to invest please go for potential coins with good use case.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Masternodes/POS the future of mining? on: May 05, 2019, 06:06:49 PM
Cheaper way of doing things can't be overemphasized, thus with PoS using less energy it means more profit for miners. Also, ETH believes there will be more security by migrating to PoS consensus.
Nevertheless, I will wait it out and see how it goes because truly, investing huge to be able to mine isn't really a good idea.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1600 series Nvidia GPUs are significantly better than everything else. on: May 04, 2019, 11:25:54 PM
Although it looks expensive, but according to many reviews both here and otherwise it looks promising. Will visit one of my friends who is a mining freak and get first-hand knowledge of it.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best motherboard for mining on: May 04, 2019, 11:11:15 PM
Have been checking about this too, and I came across Asus B250 Mining Expert LGA1151 motherboard and It has 19 PCIe slots. I think you can check it out too, as the price looks friendly and can easily be ordered.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Analysis on: May 04, 2019, 11:04:31 PM
You did well with the analysis I must say. A little research I made about RVN mining I realized it is more profitable to mine, but I also think electricity has a big role to play in mining as it affects profits. Nevertheless, thanks for the analysis I will check more.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An old but unexplored project on: May 03, 2019, 11:39:53 PM
Despite being in existence since 2015, there is still no much activity within the platform , thus one can't be mistaken for saying the Devs lacks what it takes to keep the project running or turn it into a valuable one.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really better than Bitcoin? on: May 03, 2019, 11:35:55 PM
It baffles me when people compare Bitcoin to other coins or say one coin is better than Bitcoin.
Have you taken time to know the possiblities and potentials within Bitcoin? Bitcoin will keep leading while others follows because it has all it takes to be at top. Your Maya coin can't even be compared with ETH let alone Bitcoin.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: May 03, 2019, 11:29:55 PM
This is really frustrating. In think the best way we can contribute in tackling this issue is by making sure large amount of your assets are offline or in our private wallets. We should stop trusting exchanges to secure our funds, let's assume security of that, I believe this will reduce unwarranted losses.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the IEO cheating / Should I invest in IEO? on: May 03, 2019, 11:26:49 PM
First, I don't believe all IEOs are cheating, there are genuine ones. Secondly, to invest in any IEO is up to you. No one can tell you what to do with your money.
Also, IEO are just a new form of ICO, the project team aims to raise funds to develop their products and services, just like ICOs, it is important to look past the hype or whatever and check if the team is ready for work and experienced to deliver what was promised.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this another drama ? on: April 29, 2019, 09:39:16 PM
He is just seeking attention and that's all which is typical of him. He has lost it in this space, and it will be wise if he can take a rest as nothing he will say now can have any influence in this space anymore. No one really knows who the creator of BTC is and definitely not him.
