221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ???? AFRAID OF NEW PROJECTS !!! ? on: October 03, 2019, 09:58:29 PM
Afraid of new projects? I do not think that's the case, rather the other way round which is, investors are now careful of where to invest their funds. No one want to keep losing to scammers or untrusted projects, which is one of the reason why most new projects after getting listed, the investors will pull of their funds. So it's not a matter of being afraid rather it's a matter of being wise and knowing when to let go.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you desperately looking for exchanges to dump your altcoins on: October 02, 2019, 07:33:46 PM
Everyone is desperately looking for a way out as well, but this can only take place if they are listed on any exchange. In as much as I am eager to dump mine I have settled for the worst by abandoning the wallet while checking it or the project group at Interval to see if there is any new developments. So the best thing to do is, get another wallet; since they are shitcoins who will actually buy them?
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptobridge Exchange good or SCAM? on: October 02, 2019, 07:26:38 PM
What you think of https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/cryptobridge/?
Ever used before? Theres no really ratings about it.
Yes I have, it's a decentralized exchange and one of such trying to remain relevant. However I think with proper improvement and upgrades they can offer more; this is because I have used the exchange and during my first time of withdrawal it took time I had to complain on their Discord group but ever since then haven't experienced such. People don't like any form of delay both in depositing and withdrawal, so if they can offer faster withdrawal and more good UI, they will do well.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you staking or mining, or both? on: October 01, 2019, 08:01:49 PM
I have a friend who do both and he makes quite a good profit, because he lives in area where the cost of energy is friendly. But in my case, the cost of mining is huge owing to electricity so I do more of staking when the project is proved to be legit. Also, in terms of staking we should be careful though as most projects can use it as a cover to do their worst.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No matter how hard you look at crypto, there is lots of improvements so far on: October 01, 2019, 07:56:50 PM
The crypto market has unquestionably had its high points and low points yet has thrived in the previous couple of years. Unfathomable statures and lows were achieved in 2018 and numerous new digital
Currencies were presented by new developers, associations and companies and banks too, Altcoins in any case are growingly quickly and it won't be long before a new genuine contender for bitcoin status comes around,Btc certainties would be dull without altcoins.Do you agree or disagree?
I agree with you to an extent because there are things which I don't agree with too. First, there have been major Improvements in the crypto space so far, ranging from different platforms adopting crypto to different technology giants adopting blockchain so as to be in line with what the future holds. However, you made mention of Bitcoin contender, I do not think that will be possible because many have tried and failed. Till date, Bitcoin remains the complete decentralized blockchain and have proved its worth over time thus the reason Institutional investors are going for it on daily basis; but same can't be said about altcoins.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: October 01, 2019, 07:49:02 PM
I just find out that some coins might start with very low volume and marketcap and end up growing big? true or false? i tracked back some old coins that start with trading volume around 6k and end up in millions, is this still possible today?
This is crypto and everything is possible; you can see a project with low volume today doing well in the near future and also you can see a project doing well and all of a sudden the volume drops drastically. Also, from another point of view, you will see a project that just launched and then exit scam. From all these, it shows there are different categories of teams and in each case we should try our best to go for the right team.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto hell: the exchangers manipulation. on: October 01, 2019, 07:43:07 PM
Hello there fellas,
I'm going to discuss something that keeps making me nervous. I'm that kind of a person who likes the decentralization, the privacy, the freedom and the equality in the financial world. It comes to my mind that these exchangers might someday be selfish, crypto is getting worthy and it will bring the eyes of the greedy peoples. Imagine that these exchangers grabs the trust of the peoples and then they start manipulating the market. The total volume in the exchangers is not stabe and peoples will never withdraw all their funds. Let's say that the amount of the holdings that an exchange have is 1000 btc, they could easily create sell walls of 1500 btc and peoples will buy because they trust these exchangers. What will happen then? Imagine that all the exchangers do this, what's your thoughts on this fact?.
There is no doubt the crypto space has made many things possible but on a reality point of view, it is the participants that are causing issues here and there; developers will create scam projects and so on. From the look of things, I don't think there is any exchange which is safe or genuine when it comes to volume; exchanges manipulates their volume so as to gain more users which in turn damages the trust people have on them. My simple advice is, trade with only your trading funds, any profit made should be sent to an external wallet no matter how small.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: September 27, 2019, 08:57:09 AM
Well I can't say scam projects are killing the crypto space because nothing can really kill this space, I rather I will say, scam projects are leaving a negative impact on this space. That is, investors finds it hard to invest and a greater number of those that invested are only interested in profit and once gotten leaves the project. Also, in a sense we are the ones giving them the power to strive though, how? Most will see a project and know that there is nothing good about it but still goes ahead to invest could be due to hype etc.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is much effective than ICO nowadays. on: September 27, 2019, 08:48:12 AM
Good day everyone, I've been back here and now there is a lot of new things here. Also about the funds raising strategy. Nowadays IEO is the most very effective fund raising today. Also because the exchange holds the token and they distributed after the token sale. And also this kind of token sale is favor to an exchange. But I saw some errors or false about IEO. There is token sale for example on LATOKEN exchange, That exchange (LATOKEN) sell the token (IEO) but in the end they will not list on their exchange so for me that is not good. What if the token is sold out? And its not listed on that exchange mentioned. So how the traders/investors will get the profit? Also very risky right? What do you think guys?
Yes IEO is much effective than ICOs but I see this only in terms of security of funds whereby the team can't exit scam ASAP with funds generated, but in terms of long term sustainability of that project it's left to the team. That is to say, many things can happen after IEO, its either the project grows or its dumps. Furthermore, what you pointed about Latoken has been happening with them though, but the latest IEOs in top exchanges get listed on that exchange too. Also, there are projects which run IEO on different exchanges at the end, those exchanges still listed them.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: September 26, 2019, 09:31:37 PM
if I've created account/wallet on coinbase or any other exchange then my account is hacked and my coins/money lost who are responsible for it
The Exchange where I've created account Huh
is it my mistake Huh
what's you thought about it Huh

and how i make my account safe  Huh

Before passing blames it is good to know how the hack happened. If it's a hack targeted at the exchange where many other users were affected, then it's not your fault but the fault of the exchange for failing to protect their users; this is the reason it's never wise to store assets on any exchange no matter how big it is. On the other hand, if the hack is strictly on your account, then its your fault, because someone might have had access to your account which will only be possible through you; that is, you failed to secure your details.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you investing in IEOS ? and on which platform? on: September 26, 2019, 09:27:12 PM
I would be glad to hear your opinion. It is really appreciated.  Smiley
Yes, I am; that's the latest trend and far better than ICOs. I participate with more than 1 platform or exchange but in this case top exchanges only anything short than that, am not a party to it. I participate in Binance, although sometimes I will get a ticket, sometimes I won't. I also, participate with Gate and Kucoin. Also, I took a risk with an exchange, not among the top exchanges though but kinda manageable and that's Bitsdaq exchange. So, I have had my ups and downs with IEOs but I think it's better than ICOs.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Competitions on: September 25, 2019, 11:15:04 PM
Guys, do you think is worth doing them and is it a good time to do one? And what do you think about trading competitions at all?
Trading competition is good for the overall entities of that project, that is, the members, the exchange and the project in question. In the case of members, it gives them the opportunity to earn more tokens but however, they need to be trading experts. In the case of exchange, it helps to increase the volume of that exchanges as well as increasing its activities too. Finally, in the case of the project, it helps to increase the price while making the project to have more volume. So in all ramifications, I think trading competition is good, but make sure you are an expert before getting involved.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Calm, IEOs aren't a threat on: September 25, 2019, 11:08:52 PM
Just like in ICOs where bounty played a vital role in spreading the word around, same is the case of IEOs; in fact almost all projects going for IEO are running one bounty or the other, with some doing VIP bounties too. I think the only concern should be in identifying genuine ones and not the ones that will end up playing with their bounty participants. Many team knows that, bounty is easy to host (although some team are fraudulent) and also has wider reach than paying a single crypto expert to promote their IEO or as the case maybe.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs 2019: A Year Of Success or Failure? on: September 25, 2019, 10:47:29 PM
I can't mention or remember any ICO this year which was a failure because they ones I knew of later had IEO, also since IEO inception, I stopped checking anything about ICOs. However, I have only seen one ICO this year which was a success, and thats Ferrum Network already listed on BitMax. Lastly, to grade ICOs this year, with little or no news about them, I would say they have gone extinct or on the processing of doing so because no one is willing to take unnecessary risks with ICO when IEO is there already.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not trust New wallets with your fund on: September 25, 2019, 10:39:00 PM
Anyone trusting any new wallet on playstore without ensuring it is safe through asking questions is clearly taking a risk he might not be able to control afterwards. I have seen many people who uses random wallets on playstore and later come back to report. Before holding our assets in any app, we should make sure to check the wallets supporting that coin, if there is an already existing wallet which is trusted, it should be used; if there isn't then contact the team to know the right wallet.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MIRACLE TELE SCAM??? on: September 24, 2019, 10:56:01 PM
Most times before participating in any project sale and certain news starts coming up, it's wise making more research to know if it's true or not. I could remember when a friend was warned about this project, but he didn't listen and now see the end result. To be frank, how can a project be in the verge of collapse and the only solution the CEO could offer was to exit the group, doesn't make sense to me, then the others decides to go on vacation; all these doesn't add up and points to scam.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could invest in a project with it's own hardware device, WOULD YOU? on: September 24, 2019, 10:26:08 PM
There is something to always consider before investing in any project, as for me it is use case, if possible an already developed MVP. Now in the case of Ledger etc, if they should launch a coin, I will first take time to study it to know if it is worth it, I will buy if not I will let go. Now on this project you Introduced, first I will need to make my findings as this is the first am hearing about it, and as usual if I find it appealing and not driven by hype I will invest. But from the way you sound seems it will worth a try, if really they are the leading lightning network developers.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multiple Round ICOs? on: September 24, 2019, 10:20:49 PM
Yes I have heard about it in various projects, although I don't know if they later carried it out. That is, after their first ICO the project will kick off then in the future they will conduct another so as to start another phase of development; but the issue there is, what will guarantee they have a good ICO later on? However, if the project is working according to plan and the results is visible for all to see, then maybe investors will be encouraged to participate in the another round of ICO.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No trading volume is same as dead coin on: September 21, 2019, 08:16:21 PM
Are coins and tokens that have good value like 0.02 or even 0.2cent on exchanges with no volume the same bad news as coins that haven't made it to an exchange yet? what do you guys have to say about this? i am currently holding two different tokens with good value but no trading volume, any hope for such projects?
Let's look at it from this angle, imagine having a goods that you want to sell, within you, you knows the goods is worth a furtune but there is no one to buy it from you, to make it worst no one is bidding with you; in this case you can see the goods have no value and as such a dead one. That's the same with most coins that has no volume, it means no one is bidding or buying it and therefore it is a dead project. Am sorry about the coins you are holding, but no volume means the team aren't doing anything to revamp the project and thus the project is likely dead.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Listing on exchanges is affecting projects too on: September 21, 2019, 08:10:34 PM
Why is no one talking about price listing of exchanges? exchanges listing is becoming a huge problem for many start up projects, how can an exchange be demanding for 8btc to list? how will the projects have enough money to work on their roadmap? i think exchange problem is what many of us are not seeing and talking about...it would have been a different story for some projects that lacks funds
Funny enough it now looks like a norm, most people don't see it as an issue listing on big exchanges even the community will kinda mount pressure on the team to list in major exchanges without considering the effect it will have on the project. However, what I understand is, any project with a good concept can set up strategies, list on a good exchange first, create awareness before migrating to other exchanges in this way, it won't have any effect on the project.
