Their concept seems to work well. I just downloaded their client (get it from their github releases if you dont want to wait on their accesslist) and it is super easy.
You install it, run it, it opens up in a browser with a neat welcoming page. It starts downloading the blockchain (you see this in the browser interface, but it is all thru the same config eventually. If you are in sync you can access the library which in this case is a simple search engine and ui build in React-js-framework.
You can enter a keyword and it scans the blockchain for relevant content like games, videos, ebooks, downloads and other content. If you find a movie itll show a preview, an estimate price, a "watch"-actionbutton, a "download"-actionbutton, an estimate price.
When I click either "watch" or "download" it starts streaming the file to me (fast! thry lbry:// protocol) and payment is automatically deducted from my wallet sent to the publisher! :-)
From what i understood there are plans to integrate into ios for example, but also chrome extension for clientless access to the web content network. But that's further down the road.
As other mentioned market on bittrex is very thin. More coins will be distributed, for example for referals. Safe trading ;-)

A lot of the RBR coins were lost at Cryptsy and if I were LOYYAL I would use my 1,5 million USD investment to forge a new blockchain, and adapt it to the new business model. That looks way more professional. It's a gamble, but yes you can buy coins now and maybe profit from other noobs that will buy later. And who knows, maybe LOYYAL will hold an ICO for RBR tokens, but seeing the lack of communication right now my guess is that they don't care about shitcoin investors like us. There IS confirmation that Loyyal will NOT use the RBR blockchain, by Loyyal corp itself. RBR will be transferred using some sort of token. The ratio is still unknown. |

I agree one should probably shortcut the current trader (s) by buying it back to ~250+ and hold it there, but as you have no clue how much selling pressure they have left you could need quite some BTC. As far as any loyalty program to bitcoin that I know of, this coin does not have anything todo with crypto payments. Only the blockchain technology is used to track the rewards. You can just pay by creditcards. I cannot verify this yet, but it should be usable for anyone iutside crypto too as that would create a huge new market!
Both Bitcoin and Ethereum exist now. Why do you need this coin by all means? Does this coin solve any problem of the existing market? If it is the problem that cannot be settled with only this coin, it has superiority. It is not possible for me to find such a superiority in this COIN at all. Yes. You cannot build all this on the bitcoin as you need MANY additional features that bitcoin does not have. Open assets add some stuff like trackability, but not enough by far. The only other option that Bitcoin would offer is centralize a (web)service on top of it.... not really crypto and not really what one should want. Eth is more flexible but you still need lots of workarounds and is very expensive as youll need to pay for all the gas. You'd have to build and deploy your (d)apps on the blockchain in a not very wide supported language. Not an option I think. Then we have "sidechain" which are basically new coins that track the main bitcoin blockchain. As most sidechain concept are beta or conceptual this is a risky choice. Another one is join another existing altcoin. But besides i don't really know a good alternative I would also not know what is the benefit of this instead of having your own coin. Also they did already out many efforts into Tibbitcoin. It would be a waste to throw all of that overboard. For your perception, this nothing like a bitcoin. Please review the blog and docs. And if you dont see potential, simply dont invest and move on to something you think thatll have potential (sounds like yours would be bitcoin itself) :-) Edit; i can see how it would be possible to merge back into (for example eth) when functions like sidechain are set in stone. |
