Masternodes have variable returns. How does this work with fixed staker return? What happens if the Masternodes don't cover the stakers? What happens to the coins if it produces more than the staker payout?
...
It'll average out, law of great numbers. Or team ION will spend it on hookers. I can't say.

The rough start before the coin even launched just gives it more of the feel of a coin from the past. Not a good sign. Also, the fact they are launching a "gaming" coin with no games is not smart at all. This is the same situation as XPY, absolutely ZERO utility. Without the games, what is the point of ION?
The evidence of how poorly planned out this project is becomes more apparent every day. With no games the price is just gonna drop, and son the ICO investors will be screwed out of even more money.
Was it stated in the white paper that no games would be available upon launch? Was it stated anywhere in the ICO promotions that games for this "gaming" coin would not be available at launch? This all is super shady, but expected by this team of nice guys.
It was never stated anywhere that games would be available upon launch of the coin. But you seem to be very excited, you want everything on day one of the coin launch? ... The OP said there were to be 5 million coins offered in the ICO, it didn't appear to sell 5 million coins, yet all 10,900,000 coins were minted anyway. Where are the leftovers? What will be done with them? ... Will be transferred to dev bounty funds (so will not hit the market now) and it has been said the fund will be published on the blockchain (so including wallet address, although it should not be a problem to find such a big wallet anyway )

CryptoBuds; i'm almost sure I read Team ION saying that the masternode(s) to fund the Ionomy platform stakers are the first to be on the network. The funds for the masternode are lend by the staker-investments, maybe that means what you say Team ION doesnt own the masternode, but it's grey area. Where did you get the info that Team ION will not own any masternodes? Sounds a little bit strange to me.

TOTAL SOLD 2,720,613 IONs... only 9 1/2 hours left to buy!!! ...out of 5 million. And how many of those were "sold" for XPY? This ICO is a colossal failure. Paycoin converted to 1.2M ION or so. Although those had value, due the burning the capital did not make it into ION. XPYBits converted to 800K ION bonus. As XPYBits were bought, I suspect this value is transferred into ION. 2.735.000 - 2M = 735.000 ION sold new (est ~= 735K x 0.225$ = 165.375$ extra investment)

Apparently the blockchain is live but it doesn't look like there is a block explorer and the supposed premine addresses haven't been posted either. This transparency thing is though on these guys. Perhaps Monday then. Hawaii time.
Estimated evening EST for the wallet, so I guess explorer is not much behind it. Otherwise it'll be hard to check transactions manually.

Well, all bullshit aside What SHOULD we see on monday? - blockchain active - block explorer? - coin distribution - fun > block 2000 - wallet, masternodes - source code - platform features active, atoms, electrons - ionomy exchange active? - atoms market place reactivated > later - actual games - dev bounties, transparent dev fund (on blockchain) - ionomy pte - game trailer? - conclusive info about google play (and ios) terms/possibilities .. more? \○/ https://github.com/ionomy/ion/tree/59568f804a5fd6d29e9c01dd3ade460d8814d0e3

Ionomy is just xpy with a new coat of paint. Its the same prime controller, staker plan with changed values under a new name. Its like pepsi and coke they are both cola... the difference is neither company denies its cola. Ionomy is trying to say its in no way xpy influenced. It clearly is.
I understand what you are saying, but re-using the platform that you already developed, still makes more sense than throwing it all away and start over. Main reason that was plead for, is that they/team ion can now directly control the ingredients. Previously on xpy this was not the case as the actual coincode was maintained by another party. This does not invalidate your other arguments, but should be added into the equation.

That thread just goes to show bitpop has some integrity, where as rdewilde's posts on hashtalk tend to show the opposite. Every post Bitpop makes with my name in it has been a personal attack, you call that integrity? And because of what: i don't know the guy, never even talked to him, didn't do him any harm or take any money. I find that quite disrespectfull. I sent the guy PM trying to talk over whatever issue is on, instead he's posting some swearing ontopic, including personal info (which I requested to get removed); would you like that? Talking about integrity.... I don't know his integrity, but I know mine is fine. We may or may not agree, you may or may not support free speech. You may read this and don't give a shit, but at least we should respect eachother, right? And yes, I removed the post within a minute because I had second thoughts about it being inappropriate and something I wouldn't like myself

(..) Says one of the biggest paycoin shills
Keep buying those cheap coinz bud
I don't need your advice on that, bud. But thanks for caring. Let's stay ontopic and non-personal, right?

I believe the terms of the domain purchase were 200,000 down balance 25,000 per month. Something that he certainly is not going to throw away at this point in time. The only other the important things are being paid from the dumping, like Homero's salary, his house rental in the US, his chalet rental in Europe, his wife's subscription to "naughty toys and cloths dot com" most certainly the new new team of lawyers, the 'in-house' lawyer etc. etc. Unnecessary things like 70,000 per month for PR remain unpaid .. oh look a live billing account https://wisepr.freshbooks.com/view/JNzPcFrg5ean8AiBills for custom signs, billing for designing floors for gyms, customer refunds for PNG's etc etc All trivial shit which doesn't really have to be paid from the dumping, isn't being paid. Again just the important things like his salary, the roofs over his head and absolutely the lawyers to keep everyone at bay. 70,000 per month for a cheezoid professional bullshit spin doctor? What do you suppose the retainer per month is on the best and brightest lawyers that might be out there who can continue to keep those roofs over his head and that salary rolling in while he eats sprouts in Brussels? Wow, even the invoices details are public.... Only one invoice is unpaid (could be any reason), the rest is paid, like yesterdays payment. I don't see an issue, except for Wise PR making these things public available.

Stop putting more BTC in Homero's pocket I can be 100% sure your research is incorrect because at least one of the "homero dumps" you mentoin is actually me selling. Try again.

SCAM. Should be in the first post (as now you have to read on untill the last few posts). Could not withdraw crypto currency, as 'it is limited atm', right. Could not withdraw fiat, as 'it is limited at', right. Minimum withdrawal is $500, right. I was unable to contact support. Support site gives time-out, riggght.
I would not put my money in there. Lucky me only got a very small amount transferred. https://hashtalk.org/topic/28965/virtex-com-is-a-scam/2
