281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Adoption Rate keeps getting better on: September 02, 2019, 03:45:41 AM
This is the type of news or moves which will keep the crypto space on the right track to massive attention. Irrespective of the bad words being said about the crypto space, many have seen the truth and many are getting involved because they believe in what the future holds. Blockchain has come to stay, and many platforms are already taking steps to keep a competitive advantage over others those who are still skeptical will only end up lossing on the long run.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risks will be useless if anyone can see tomorrow on: September 02, 2019, 03:42:01 AM
Yes, no one knows what will happen tomorrow, but we can secure ourselves against the challenges or issues tomorrow might posses. Talking about exchanges, how many new exchanges are worthwhile now? How many can brag of offering their users good and effective services? When most upcoming exchanges compare themselves to Binance it baffles me, because most can't even come up with a genuine business model which will make them outstanding. Yes, it's true Binance didn't grow in one day, but they followed their roadmap, how many are willing to? I think I find it good investing in upcoming projects which aren't exchanges as they have proven to be better.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No matter what i'm sticking with Altcoins on: September 01, 2019, 10:09:49 PM
The funny thing is, in one way or the other we are all sticking to different altcoins, while some are holding good altcoins be it ETH etc others aren't. One thing is very important, altcoins has come to stay because some are created for different solutions but we should be careful to always be on the right side; that is on the side of the good ones.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next year will determine the fate of altcoins on: September 01, 2019, 03:34:37 PM
I think this year is already determining the fate of most coins while old abandoned projects are coming up gradually to run an IEO, and most people will still invest in those types of projects thus giving them the power to whatever they like. However, when people say altcoins won't survive I don't tend to buy it, because I have seen a coin which have been in this space for a long time now and despite the nature of the crypto market is still developing its platform. Also, coins like Eth, XLM etc have been surviving, the question is how? The answer is, they know what they want, thus until most project developers start working according to plan, they will keep failing. With the rate this space is going, a time will come when only few coins will remain and they will be the valuable ones.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Times on: September 01, 2019, 03:27:18 PM
Well, you are right to an extent though. In my own opinion, old altcoins like ETH have made their mark and that's why they are still valuable today. On the other hand, majority of new altcoins are seen as pump and dump coin with only little really having a use case. Also, to prove a point, how many of the new coins are within their initial prices? As for me, I still value those old coins within top 10 and only little number of new coins do I hold in portfolio, that is those I feel have a good idea and concept.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: September 01, 2019, 03:17:43 PM
It isn't really their fault, check it out on a daily basis how many projects are either created or running public sale? Out of the vast majority that had a successful sale, how many are still standing?
By answering those questions you will realize investors are now quick to ask for exchange instead of asking how the project is going so that they can dump and move on.
Also, there have been many projects that up till today are yet to list nor show any tangible thing they have done with the funds raised; therfore by putting all these irregularities today, investors or rather most investors hardly trust any project other than investing and cashing out quickly.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: August 30, 2019, 09:13:43 PM
The problem is not to own a large portfolio but to own one which will be worth it. Also am not a fan of holding multiple altcoins as I might lose track of them owing to swap and like of it. In my own opinion I think it's worthwhile if you bring it down to maybe 5 altcoins of which I suggest ETH, EOS, BNB, Litecoin and XLM. Since you already have BTC I think these will make a good portfolio as they are backed by a strong team.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The fuel for the next bull run on: August 30, 2019, 08:58:57 PM
The 2017 bull run was based on hype that was why shitcoins were able to give more profit because they were cheaper and people bought it based on the huge hype in the market then

But the next bull will be quite different from that and it will be based on real life usage and adoption so any project or altcoin that doesn't offer real usage or solve a problem will beat the dust.
I agree with you and there is no better truth than it. I keep telling my friends that although bull run will take time to come but only projects with good use case or working products will be part of it. No one is interested in investing into any coin with no genuine future it is just too risky and not advisable. Also, although hype will a play role too, but I think it will be caused majorly by use case and mainstream adoption just like you said.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bad developers have tarnished ICO! on: August 26, 2019, 06:28:10 PM
Ethereum as well as other blockchains made it possible for many projects to be created thus ICOs where some did well others scammed their investors. So in each case, it wasn't the fault of these platforms rather the developers creating the projects; many came with the mindset of scamming and not to built anything, therefore accompanied with hype they succeeded. However, today, the failing of ICOs led to IEOs which have had a considerable record of success, although on major exchanges.
Furthermore, just like ICOs used hype to scam their investors, some IEOs will still do same, so in each case the only way to reduce scam be it in ICO or IEO is through carrying out the neccessary research.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why do people lose confidence with ethereum? on: August 26, 2019, 06:16:11 PM
why are people busy with ethereum? whether their trust has been lost. Isn't the rise and fall of coin prices on the market common? yes ... considering the market is bearish does not mean that ethereum prices will die and that does not mean that bitcoin will dominate the market forever.

come on stay enthusiastic, Let time answer. don't listen to FUD, if you are an old investor I'm sure you won't stop here. reconsider before you make a brief decision ... because ethereum is a high-potential altcoin, I'm sure they will soon rise from this difficult time.

I agree with you; a look at the entire market shows that not only Ethereum is affected as Bitcoin dominance continues growing. Also from another is Ethereum isn't a good altcoin why then is it still number 2? The answer is simple, Ethereum is has what it takes to maintain its position at the same time having the capability to improve its blockchain which still under development.
The anticipated altseason will come although no one knows when but it will be for altcoins like ETH, that is coins with great potentials.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why did you choose your current exchange? on: August 26, 2019, 05:58:18 PM
I use more than one exchange and they Okex, gate and Binance; of this three exchanges Binance is easy to use and highly user-friendly when compared to others. Gate and Okex on the other hand are good too owing to the volume of the coins there. So I use this three exchanges both for trading and IEOs too; at least till date their IEOs has have a good track record of success. Another reason as to why I leverage this exchanges is the security within, although Binance had security issues months ago but it didn't bring down the exchange but made it more stronger.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinions on IEOs on: August 25, 2019, 08:57:40 PM
I understand your points and it is clearly stated with nothing but the truth. However, remember the main reason why IEO was created is as a result of the fraudulent nature of ICOs, this is what has given exchanges many powers. Approach any investor today and ask why he prefers IEO he will make reference to ICO scams. So I think IEOs is playing a good role to curb scams, but however we should be careful of the ones to participate in as it is getting clear that most exchange might not properly Verify any project owing to what they stand to gain.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Betting : A big problem to crypto? on: August 25, 2019, 08:41:00 PM
I tend to see it from another angle and that is, these betting us actually exposing the uses of cryptocurrencies to world; that is, let the world know that in addition to transfering whatever coin to another user or holding it, that it can also be used in betting. Therefore, I can say using crypto in betting poses no risk or any problem, nor does it speak bad of the crypto space.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the difference between Libra and Bitcoin on: August 24, 2019, 09:01:18 PM
You really did well to differentiate them. One of the most important difference between them is decentralization. Bitcoin is completely decentralized while Libra isn't; that is to say holders of Bitcoin or users who transact with Bitcoin can do so from anywhere in the world without any restrictions but same can't be said about Libra.
Also, Bitcoin has no partners while Libra is seeking many partners or investors who will in one way or the other decide the fate of the platform.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now I want to buy some kind of alternate coins. What kind of coins can I buy? on: August 24, 2019, 08:55:43 PM
The truth is nowadays to invest in altcoins one need to be extra careful, it has even gotten to the extent that advising one on the type of coin to buy is hard. However, in my own opinion, Ethereum is worth the buy. On the other hand, if you wish to invest in other coins then consider those with already working products as they stand a better chance.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hidden or Delete all coin in myether wallet? on: August 24, 2019, 08:50:19 PM
Deleting of coins isn't possible but however if you are using imtoken wallet there is a feature which makes hiding of coins possible although am still using the older version don't know about the latest version. Also, on the other hand I suggest you use create another wallet since the present one irritates you at least it will save you unnecessary headache.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange is better than binance? on: August 23, 2019, 09:13:11 PM
This is really a tough question because we all know what lies within Binance, I mean the services and growth. Binance is an exchange that believes it can touch all countries and as such is doing so. Thereby asking the exchange which will be better than Binance is a tough question, but if am to answer I will say Okex. Reason is the way Okex interface with Coinall, so if it can continue in such trend, it could stand a chance.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard is forming its own crypto team on: August 23, 2019, 09:09:20 PM
One thing is just clear and that is, cryptocurrency has come to stay. In recent years they called it names now they are getting involved massively; what's the reason behind it? They want to still maintain their competitive advantage. With this many will still come on board it's just a matter of time.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: August 23, 2019, 09:04:40 PM
To be frank, you stated good facts but however have you taken time to study the market recently, you will see that the need for Bitcoin or rather the way investors are going for Bitcoin is growing tremendously. Nowadays people see it fit holding Bitcoin more than ETH. In my own opinion I don't think ETH will stand a chance of beating Bitcoin in the long run.
