162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Right Time to buy Some ALT coins? on: February 04, 2020, 09:27:39 AM
I think there is never a bad time to buy any altcoins, but in this case should be good coins not those flocking around with no value. In addition, the choice or decision towards buying any altcoins should be in what the person really wants and expects. Study the team to know if they have concrete plans as well as the exchange the coin is listed on.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why every IEO on P2PB2B exchange? on: December 10, 2019, 03:41:29 AM
A good project will also go for good exchanges which will help the project grow, we all know that a good exchange helps a project to grow while in the case of others the reverse is the case. This P2PB2B have many accusations on it which is found on this forum and yet most people finds it wise investing in IEO on this exchange. From another way, the other IEOs listed there how was their growth? Did the token gained more value? There are many questions to be asked, which all doesn't sound good to the ear, and thus having anything to do with that exchange will only causing more harm than good.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You think that governments might adopt cryptocurrencies to replace fiat currency on: December 09, 2019, 10:35:40 PM

I think this cannot happen because the government might find it hard controlling their money. Fiat is easy to control and used for many activities but not cryptocurrencies. The government like control and don't fail to exercise it anytime they want but thinking of this might be a very difficult tasks. However, it doesn't mean the government can't support crypto related matters as most countries are already doing it such as China, because the technology within blockchain holds a vital role and position in the future; but that aspect of replacing fiat with crypto might not be possible.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: December 09, 2019, 10:27:48 PM
You might be right as the market has been unfavorable for a while now but that doesn't mean most people aren't making profits no matter how small. And as you said, the next altcoins season might take a longer time and thus it is wise for people to play along with the market and do things which are fond of. Waiting solely for altseason without participating in one activity or the other, be it trading or otherwise will only cause more pains and sadness.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new projects should be about new features on: December 08, 2019, 05:53:19 AM
One of the biggest problems that crypto developers face is that technology changes rapidly. It is very hard to stay current, they new to introduce better feature than what we have already in this space, who agrees?

This is true, but however the old ones keeps overshadowing the current or upcoming projects because the old ones keeps trying their best to remain relevant while the new ones keeps doing a different thing altogether. Before we used to hear about different projects which says they will kill Bitcoin, ETH etc but where are they? I think its far better a project concentrate on building their own platform than thinking of how to kill an already existing one. Lastly, like you stated, upcoming projects should focus more on new technologies as it will make them relevant as time goes on.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 08, 2019, 05:42:42 AM
Hi,
Need to know the best coin to buy.
Since last 2 years nearly every coin has struggle to keep up.
Suggestions on the future predictions.
Start/comment below

This is a good question but getting the right answer will be the issue because everyone will tend to point out their own opinion which might leave you even more confused. Also, in this space, all coins are suffering so it will take more carefulness to chose which is why most people are moving to BTC and ETH reason being that they both have a higher chance of recovery than others. Also, just like someone rightly pointed out, make your own research in every coin to make the best decision.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: December 08, 2019, 05:34:01 AM
Over 850 millions of people use alipay as means of payment mostly in china and i heard lots about wepay as well, i come to think of it that what if bitcoin was been used in their places instead? if alipay and wepay can get to where they are today then altcoins have all the chances of survival as well. Wepay and Alipay are just online payment solution, crypto can do better.

Real use cases plus real life working products, let these two be your main focus when picking altcoins to invest your money on, do not listen to those saying 'dump altcoins for bitcoin' when you are holding solid altcoins

You said all the facts but one of the issues is, many altcoins are even yet to achieve what they are set to fulfill, so how can such coins compete with already built platforms like wepay? This is one of the problems this space is facing and until it is tackled there will always be limitations. There are many altcoins still trying to break boundaries but they need to do more, if beating these platforms will ever work out. On the other hand, only few of these altcoins are good for holding and just like you stated, real life working products should be the main focus. Lastly, Bitcoin can't do it alone, it needs other coins.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent Icos facts on: December 07, 2019, 04:09:58 PM
There are a lot of Icos ongoing without specific products. I still believe many of them are going to give us a huge adoption in this space. But the problem is many Icos are planning to get investments by providing nothing with a solid scamming exit plan. You won't be able to trace them by reading their WP, Team, activities even company formation. Recently I saw an ICO, they were genuinely working to do something but later they ran away with a bit of raised money. They closed their website, TG group and everything.
Can anyone suggest to me how to choose the scam icos ?

You knew all these about ICOs and yet went further to invest in them; sorry about what happened to you but I hope you learnt the hard lesson which is, ICOs are more fraudulent. It is very difficult nowadays to finds any genuine ICO because they hardly have any tangible thing to offer or any genuine products they are already working on, it is always " we are working to offer this type of service" but there is no proof that they have started anything at all, and once they get the required funds they exit scam. Stop giving ear to them and save yourself from headaches and heartaches.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Bites The Dust? on: December 07, 2019, 04:04:19 PM
Does anyone have any news on Ether Delta? It seems that it hasn't been fully operational for a while and now it's coming up as a 502 Gateway Error. Any news let us know.

Woow, Etherdelta, one of the oldest decentralized exchange in this space. It really played a vital part towards to the growth of this space, but however owing to issues it keeps failing to meet up with expectations; it is these issues that lead to the creation of forkdelta and ever since then has taken over from Etherdelta to be one of the best decentralized exchanges where ERC tokens are traded. Now talking about the issues you are facing, although it's been long I accessed the website but I think the exchange is no longer what it used to be and as such suggest you try forkdelta instead.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 07, 2019, 04:00:15 PM
The question is why do some people generalize all Altcoins as bad? considering there are over 3000 of them out there. One would not have the time to go through each project one by one. to analyze the project. team etc everything behind each crypto project.
There has to be some project out there under good intentions. Not all projects could be a scam. I admit I only have a top 4 i consider when it comes to best coins. But yet many should be decent at least honest projects out there. Afterall we do need more projects. more quality projects out there in order for crypto to succeed.

your thoughts

If some people say all altcoins are bad, why is ETH still existing for years now? Yes, most people live Bitcoin as it is the king and has proven to be over time, but there is still issues which other altcoins can help in solving thus the reason a coin like Eth is still active. Anyone saying such, is wrong shouldn't be listened to, nevertheless we have to be careful of these new altcoins coming out in their numbers, if they are 100 only less then 5 is legit.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: December 07, 2019, 03:53:09 PM
As we all know , crypto market is not doing so much in these days. Major Altcoins are bleeding, even top currencies are not increasing
Major reason according to my opinion is the lack of new investors. New investors are not showing interest.
in 2020 I think will be better than Today. What do you think, what is your prediction about crypto market. kindly share your thought.

I don't agree with you, okay let me ask, if there is lack of new investors, who are the ones investing in new projects IEOs which makes them a success? New investors are coming up everyday, although they aren't huge like before but there are traces of them everywhere. Also, the market in general is bleeding and has not been in good form for a while now because most new projects aren't living upto expectations; that is once they conduct IEO and list, it pumps and then investors dump and move on to the next IEO. We need projects that are after value.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FEAR OF DUMPING on: December 06, 2019, 08:47:11 PM
The fear of dumping often makes the project team fear or avoid the payment of hunters until sometimes after the exchange listing. I wonder why the team make themselves restless on an easy thing like that when they can easily conduct their bounty with bitcoin or ethereum for payment. That will safe them of the fear that the bounty hunter will dump after the exchange listing.

This is so funny and even more funnier when people believe the reason for locking bounty token is to prevent dump. Most projects gives out huge bonuses to their investors and locks up bounty rewards yet the investors dumps on getting the chance. Any team that fails to do the right thing by working on its platform, the token will dump so let them stop using bounty as an excuse. If they care so much or blame hunters on the dump in price of their token, let them pay with other coins like USDT, BTC or ETH.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alibaba cooperates with new blockchain platform, Is this project worth following on: December 06, 2019, 08:03:44 AM
Woow, at least a good news in the midst of exit scam and hack rocking this space since last week. I think this will bring more light to this space, at least people will know that there are good things about this space not all the bad things they have heard. We clamour for real uses here it is coming to being and with more of this there will be a new orientation in this space, one which will make developers and team to be serious. Time to know more about this credit blockchain though.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to new projects? on: December 06, 2019, 07:51:26 AM
What the *eck is going on? we have many good projects coming into crypto space but they mostly end up failing, too many good new projects are dying as if they are been created to just die, what do you think its killing new good projects apart from scam projects?

This is not a matter of being a good project, it is a matter which is more than that. It takes more than being good to survive this current market, the team needs good strategy to maintain their worth and existence, this is because most investors hardly trust projects now so once they see profit, they exit the project. But putting strategies in place and working closely with the roadmap as well as adding new updates will go a long way in helping a project grow. Another issue is, most projects after successful sales and listing will start extending roadmap which is a bad sign to most investors.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for New Altcoins on: December 06, 2019, 07:36:51 AM
Of course there are still investors in new projects, while a majority invest because they think they might trust the project, others invest just for immediate return and that's all. A good number of investors are now wise and careful of where they put their money because virtually all new projects aren't worth it. Secondly, I tend to believe that most developers of these new projects doesn't care about anything than how to enrich themselves which is why many projects are dying off continuously.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to zero? This guy is dreaming! on: December 02, 2019, 06:25:50 AM
Anti-crypto campaigner and perennial Bitcoin basher, Nouriel Roubini, is at it again. But this time around, he’s after Ethereum (ETH). According to a tweet by “Dr. Doom,” Ethereum is still a long way from its “fundamental value” of $0. Just like his previous criticism on Bitcoin, Roubini is certain that in the long run, ETH will hit a $0 price mark.

For some time now, Dr. Doom has been bashing cryptocurrency with his skepticism of several financial markets, including bitcoin.

ETH to zero? In your dreams, hater!!!

There come a time that ETH may be bottoming out within this month, but it would not go down to zero for sure.

Before Virgil Griffith was arrested, he shared to me and the rest of the attendees last January 2019 at the Boracay Blockchain Summit about Ethereum's proof-of-stake and the future developments, and why we should be excited about them in the long run. Same thing with Vitalik Buterin when he talks about Ethereum's bright future at Token 2049 Hongkong.

After the Ethereum supermeetup, he and the other keynote speakers are in an AMA session answering the community's questions related to the project.

For me, I honestly think that we should be excited about Ethereum's long-term future, not focusing on Roubini's hate speech about them, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

To be honest, Nouriel Roubini is nothing but an all-in-one stupid idiot!

This is nothing more than fud, like seriously won't they just rest or leave this space, must he say rubbish all the time just to gain attention. One things that is painful about all these, is the fact some people tend to listen to him while he tends to stock up as soon as possible. Nevertheless, he can fool the uneducated but not everyone, so let him continue and one day he is going to shoot himself on the leg. Let him go for all these shitcoins flying around and leave top coins alone, or better still exit this space.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can share your own opinion if you have. on: November 30, 2019, 10:49:31 PM
Firstly thanks to all for reading my topic.

Who has had more success in this crypto market?
1. Traders
2. Investors
You you have any skills? From which you have made enough profit or How much amount you loss??
Welcome to share your skills.

I think both have their success stories and to really point out which is more successful, one needs to be in their shoes. Traders have their own days of profit which can be on daily basis for day traders, and otherwise for long term traders. On the part of investors, most have to wait for a while in search of good projects which might pay well or might not depending on what the team have in mind. But for an investors, when he invests in a good project the profit is always worth it. In my own case I do both, but more of investing than trading and I always experience more success with investing.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IDAX Crypto Exchange Confirms CEO Dissappearance with Cold Wallet Keys on: November 30, 2019, 10:40:14 PM
Here's the reason we should not store our assets on exchange, like this news

According to the article it could be a type of exit plan.
This can be happened in any exchanges. There are many ways to lose our funds this is the one example.

Over and over again this has been said but people don't tend to listen. Early this year, Binance a top exchange was hacked, that should have been enough reason for people to save their funds off exchanges. Now this week alone, Idax CEO did this, while Upbit exchange was also hacked, when will people learn to be smart as only "you" can manage and secure your assets. The deed has been done by the CEO and it looks more like an exit scam and I hope the law enforcement will get hold of him.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are getting smarter but why not developers???? on: November 30, 2019, 10:32:46 PM
investors are invading some exchanges why not developers? i know listing fee can be huge but few exchanges are just scam practitioners, developers should take their time to check out scam accusation thread on this forum and see how many people are been ripped off by these so called exchanges e.g idax p2pb2b among others

The whole truth is, even some of the developers are looking for ways to dump the project or ways to make money off investors or ways to exit scam. Most projects will purposely list on a bad exchange and then look for excuse to cover up why they are listing there, now since these exchanges aren't adequate enough to help any project grow the project will end up dying and the developers will find another excuse and then abandon the project. This is just the circle of things happening in this space, go on telegram and see many groups turning to spam groups and projects which was once listed dying off. Only few projects are really trying their best.
