For about 5 minutes DAILY_MASSIVE_1 jumped to the top of the table, then bitponzi went down.  It's almost as if someone tried to deposit, and it somehow crashed the site when it confirmed...

Now it's back, DM1 is at the top, but there is no new deposit, and the time for the last deposit hasn¡t changed.

I'm seeing the same  Sad

I just saw something odd.

How are fees calculated?  I haven't started many rounds myself, maybe 3 or so, but in none of the cases the fee's ended up the amount I chose.

your amount + 2% for the house
3644  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BitPonzi.Net - The Bitcoin Ponzi Site - Inspired by Bitcoinduit on: September 18, 2011, 05:11:47 PM
I think you should invest in the daily massive to compensate for the down time  Wink  haha, jus kiddin, be cool if someone did though.. be awesome if i get my coin back before the end, then i could try n snipe for that sexy jackpot..  Shocked

Really?   Shocked  Would you risk your only coin again if you recovered it?   Grin

lol.. probably  Cheesy  I'd have made 30 cents and the jackpot is nice.. looks like i wont get the chance though Sad  unless there's a lot of silent snipers. gonna do a couple of hours of work now, will return to see how it ends Smiley

When you have such a low balance it might be best to focus on making 0-risk ponzis.  Anything with jackpot<=40% is 0-risk.
edit: also, remember that only the ones you make can be 0-risk.

Thank you for posting a thread and then answering your own question, Atlas.
3646  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Seriously, though, how would a libertarian society address global warming? on: September 18, 2011, 04:04:35 PM
Frederic, they are related... they're both examples of disasters which can be averted through regulation.  You, as a fundie libertarian, seem to want no regulation on anything, even things which affect the well-being of millions of people.
3647  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BitPonzi.Net - The Bitcoin Ponzi Site - Inspired by Bitcoinduit on: September 18, 2011, 04:00:13 PM
Oh!  Hopefully someone will go into the Daily Massive, the jackpot is  compelling.

Or maybe not.  The site is down again!  Sad

It's only intermittently down; if you refresh 5 minutes later it usually comes back up.

bitcoinduit wasn't this quiet during weekends...

Well, I'm sure it'll liven up. At least I hope so, cuz unless a couple more deposits go into the Daily Massive I will lose my only coin (nudge nudge)  Cry

Damn, I remember when I had a single coin D:
I'll invest in your dwarf bank with a bitcoin.
Also, a tip: you can claw your way back up with a combination of mining and high profit games (200% ROI comes to mind).
3649  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BitPonzi.Net - The Bitcoin Ponzi Site - Inspired by Bitcoinduit on: September 18, 2011, 01:43:30 PM
The Ponzis seems to have gone quiet last couple of days Sad

Perhaps because it's a weekend and people are doing real things in real live?

bitcoinduit wasn't this quiet during weekends...
Also, let me bring your attention to
The DAILY MASSIVE JACKPOT http://bitponzi.net/Round_DAILY_MASSIVE_1.aspx
It has slipped to the bottom of the list but if you invest in it you stand a chance of getting the jackpot, which is the BIGGEST JACKPOT ON THE SITE right now. Cheesy
Especially since the weekend is very slow on bitponzi...
3650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am selling some bitcoins on eBay and accepting PayPal... on: September 18, 2011, 03:33:18 AM
Why didn't I think of selling on ebay earlier?
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l2736&_nkw=bitcoin
These auctions have time limits set to a week or so.  10 bitcoins are selling for $73, 100 for $610, 5 for $40 (reminder: these bids are BINDING)... the only downside is Paypal's disapproval of bitcoin.

Wait wait wait hold on.
How do we know you're not just going to take everyone's bitcoins and sell them at a low price to yourself or something?  I'm surprised everyone's so eager to join this group.

3656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [BOUNTY] need help getting recovered wallet.dat to work on: September 17, 2011, 02:41:21 PM
Firstly you could edit fixwallet.py or something but that would take too long I guess.
You could also log in to the system account and force set it to read/write but that would not be recommended.

Hi cablepair,
Delete blk0001.dat and addr.dat.  Then open bitcoin up again.  Tell me if you still have the same error.

I don't know whether this has been mentioned, but Bruce just made a new "better" forum (bitcoinscene).
The first post is by a user called "Penis."  How appropriate.
edit: oh damn it was the 4th post Tongue
