Why the shit would he want to use Ubuntu?
Ubuntu is miles ahead of windows. With the exception of gaming, I don't understand why anyone uses windows.
For games you can use Wine most of the time...

umm, he suggested in the rules?  Huh

Done.
2925  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITCOINDUIT --- New features added! on: November 09, 2011, 08:33:36 PM
I do feel that you should probably mention somewhere (I suggest in the rules) that for starting a round, there is a 5% fee on the initial deposit going to bitconduit. It's not mentioned anywhere right now…

Yeah, we should put that somewhere.  Suggestions?

He's a comedian, so why do you think he said that?
Or did he really mean it?

2933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No wonder TradeHill has low market share? (BitInstant is broken.) on: November 08, 2011, 05:51:25 PM
On another note, two of my TradeHill withdrawals have been "In Process" for well over an hour now.

I'd like to know why it is taking them so long to send my coins...

It's only ~340 coins.

Edit:

Gareth from BitInstant was a big help. He contacted TradeHill for me and got them to speed up my withdrawals manually.

Also he says that a patch is being issued soon to fix the BitInstant issues (which turn out to be admittedly minor issues).

Thanks BitInstant Smiley

I had a 240 coin withdrawal just then and it took about 2 hours.  They're just being slow right now.
2934  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where are the arbiters? on: November 08, 2011, 04:03:16 PM
So the thief finally cashes out...  at $3 instead of $15 or $20 xD

I like how it's assumed to be a thief.  Cause anyone with a significant amount must be someone who scammed or swindled.   Roll Eyes

Did you even read the previous post?
It all matches up well.  Askwall for 20k and stolen coins showing up in people's accounts...

For the confused: A freeroll is a game where I provide the money and you get the payout.
Anyone up for today's?
2937  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where are the arbiters? on: November 08, 2011, 03:32:31 PM
Yay, picked up another 100.  I love when this happens.
2938  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning: How many of you Bears have ever been a victim of a Short Squeeze? on: November 08, 2011, 02:54:35 PM
I'm almost positive you guys are SA trolls, just trying to make the rest of bitcoin users look bad by being extremists to a fault.

just another ad hominem from a pessimist who doesn't bother to look at the number or content of posts i've put up since i've been here.  you'd see that i am a true believer who's contributed much quality content to this forum, with the exception of perhaps the Spec Forum which is the Wild West of flaming.

If you think the Spec Forum is the Wild West of flaming, you haven't been to the altcoins forum Cheesy
