Economy / Speculation / Re: Breakout to the Upside Imminent

Something is in the air, and of course this is just speculation, but I think we're about to leave the $3.xx price for a good long time, if not forever.
$19: We're about to break 20 again, expect a rally soon. $15: The rally back to 30 and beyond is about to happen. $14: It's been steady at 14 for weeks, rally should be coming. $12: It cannot go any lower. $10: BUY, BUY, BUY $9: We should hover back to 12 soon, and then rally back up. $6: This is the point where people will start buying, expect it to got to hundreds within weeks/months $5: It cannot drop lower. $4: Many miners have shut down their rigs, expect a rally. $3.90: It will go up soon... I keep lurking here because this is really a lesson in self-deception,. Before you say anything, no, I'm not trolling, I've been here for a while, I rarely post, and I'm truly very interested in BTC for various reasons. Yet, I'm just baffled by the almost religious bullishness. I wouldn't go as far as to say religious bullishness. There have been many times BTC was poised to raise in value and just about every time there is something negative to stop it (i.e. hacks, massive sell-off, thieves, supposed ripoffs, bunk exchanges, or just general FUD). Even now one of the first things you see when you search is the Allinvain post (which I still do not believe BTW). Value started to drop right after the supposed Allinvain theft and continued down after the Mt.Gox hack, every time it starts to stabilize something else happens. This... BTC is plagued by scammers and hackers, who are the main reason why the price is so low.

After today's success, I'm announcing a couple of changes to come tomorrow. 1. Every ___th deposit gets ___ btc from the first depositor. First depositor puts btc into address, which is refunded if round fails to achieve the desired length 2. Hall of fame -- great rounds of the past, biggest winners according to address/ip (but IP is kept hidden for obvious reasons) 3. A few minor UI changes and bugfixes 4. Lowering of fee edit: nearly risk-free! http://bitcoinduit.com/4BTC4EverI'm really looking forward to #1. I think it will revolutionize ponzi. This can be the most amazing ponzi yet. We're working on it -- sorry, but these features need to be tested and I have a huge backlog It'll be great though! No more scamming for #1 type rounds.

Let's start this scheme up again. Bitcoinduit is back up and running, and it needs traffic! Anyone want to join this advertising pool? (We'll mutually link to each other in prominent areas of our sites)
Does this really qualify as gambling? I drive a Chevrolet movie theater. XD I think it does. You want me to try posting a thread about bitcoinduit outside the gambling forum? There's an element of risk and luck and you get a profit. What's not gambling about that? edit: How much do you want from me in return for putting up bitcoinduit on your list?

Okay I know these ponzi games are really popular but I don't understand it. So in the end who wins and who loses?
The people who got paid out by later deposits win, just like in a real ponzi scheme. However, we added a jackpot to motivate more betting, so the last person usually also wins. The other people lose. Basically you're betting on how much more money will join the game. Also, if you are perfectly rational and want to minimize losses, you will never lose if you're the first depositor. http://bitcoinduit.com/Intro.html

Remember everything needs to be echoed in short phrases. Every (pause) will be echoed by the crowd. Try this
***************
To those Occupying Wall St (To those Occupying Wall St) Please Listen Up (Please Listen Up)
You're upset with the banks (pause) yet you keep banking with them.
You're upset with the Federal Reserve (pause) yet you keep using its fiat money.
You're upset with Wall St. (pause) yet you keep buying their stocks (pause) and their financial engineering (pause).
The banks may have built this cage (pause) but you have locked yourself inside.
There is an alternative (pause) to this fraudulent scheme (pause) - it's called Bitcoin!
It's a decentralized monetary system (pause) no person controls it (pause) no corporation controls it (pause), and no government can control it.
It is without borders (pause) It is not subject to inflation (pause) it is not subject to deflation.
If you care to end the corrupt system (pause) that has grown fat off our backs (pause), come learn about Bitcoin!
We're giving away FREE Money (pause) and we'll teach you how to use it.
Bitcoin will end the banking monopoly (pause) if you care to try it.
Thank You. ***********
I hope this speech actually gets delivered.
