He's been saying it all the way down... and he was right at one point, but a 10k btc sell killed the entire rally. So now it's at 3.5 instead of 7, and I don't believe it anymore.

My site has more features, less fees, etc.
Why don't you publisize your site on its thread and stop botrhering other people with things they aren't interested in? We know you have a wonderful site, go enjoy it. Mainly because my wonderful site needs traffic to be wonderful! Also I'm just wondering why people aren't interested in moving to better sites. But that's just me, apparently some people have sentimental attachments to other sites.

Honestly ama, I cannot understand your mind. You see these bugs and you don't think, "What is the alternative?" I don't get it.
You asked, both in public and PM, and I refrained to answer. But OK, here we go again. I rather stop playing than play on a site which makes its publicity by ridiculizing another one. One, by the way, you seemed to enjoy and where you made a lot of coins using your, always in my opinion, of course, inaproppriate, greedy, nasty, and despicable methods of tricking people. You got your site now, after I (because you asked me) said what I thought about your rounds. Well, this is what I think about your site. Please, stop sending me PM inviting me to join your site. I won't. Even if Bitponzi dissapeared, I rather don't play than play with you. Stop asking me to join your site or offering me free rolls. You are using more of the same dispicable, yes, dispicable behaviour. It's giving me nausea. Edit: I forgot to answer your last question. My alternative is repporting bugs, suggesting improvements, and supporting the place I like and enjoy playing. Answered? Hope so! I don't "make my publicity by ridiculizing [sic]" bitponzi. I'm offering an impartial comparison: My site has more features, less fees, etc. I did enjoy Bitponzi a lot but unfortunately mb300sd (a person whom I respect) didn't have the time to maintain it, so I decided to branch off and create my site with the features I wanted. I don't want to KILL bitponzi, I want to improve it. I offered my services to mb300sd first, of course, but he refused because he didn't want to open source the site. You want me to report bugs? I fixed them already! Suggest improvements that will never be implemented? I don't get that either because I MADE the improvements already, but OK. Whatever floats your boat, man. Personally, I think "despicable" is when you attack the guy who made suggestions, reported bugs, tried to improve the game and when mb300sd didn't have the time to do it, assumed the responsibility (!!) and offered you (and other people) free money. Additionally, despite your (despicable!!!! ) personal attacks, I have never treated you impolitely. I even made a feature that pays out more people and reduces everyone's risk, which you should respect. Lastly, I want to ask you: Do you think it is wrong to bot, i.e. putting deposits in after other people's deposits automatically? Because my site does not have an API but Bitponzi has a working one... did you notice that?

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Fix the blockchain!
|
on: October 16, 2011, 04:18:03 PM
|
Hi everyone, I think the following things need to be pointed out about the blockchain.
1. It's stupidly huge and something needs to be done about that. 2. If you expect btc to be a real-world currency then it's going to get even more stupidly huge with more use. 3. It takes forever to download it, which puts off new users. 4. It's a Berkeley DB... ugh.
If I'm wrong, please correct me... but I think the blockchain needs to be changed so that it's more user-friendly, dev-friendly and efficient.
edit: I posted this in the Bitcoin Discussion forum because I wanted to discuss the effect of the huge blockchain on new users' adoption of bitcoin.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / PonziCoin (3 letter name is SHT)! Sponsored by Bitcoinduit

on: October 16, 2011, 03:54:28 PM
|
Hi everyone, just want to let you know, we here at Bitcoinduit are planning Ponzicoin (which may or may not come out this week)! This is the only honest scammy altcoin! It's sort of like a game, I guess. Mine it and hope that other people buy your worthless SHT!!! xD Of course, we can't make it totally worthless, can we? Your Ponzicoins are backed at the exchange rate of 0.0001 BTC per SHT. The "game" will end at 2000 blocks (100000 SHT), and at the end all the SHT is redeemable in freerolls at our site. If you're interested, post here.

Update: Now I move coins to a special sendmany account before trying to sendmany but it still doesn't work. It wants to CONFIRM A TRANSACTION I SEND TO MYSELF before adding the balance.

Sendmany cares about what "account" the BTC are in - you have passed an empty string - those 2 BTC must be in the "account" named the empty string for it to work. Try the listaccounts RPC command. There's also a move command that moves coins between accounts. This phenomenon of "accounts" is internal to the client and I don't think it represents any attribute of the bitcoins themselves as seen by the network.
I use sendmany all the time for loading batches of Casascius Physical Bitcoins.
I see. Is there any way to just sendmany from my wallet in general in a convenient way? I couldn't care less about accounts; I want to treat my wallet as one monolithic account but bitcoind won't let me.

I have 2btc in a wallet and tried to do this:
$txid2 = $bitcoin->sendmany("", $payoutArray);
sum of values in payoutarray is 0.6. It says:
Error: Request error: Account has insufficient funds
Anyone know why?

Based on the previous experience of bitcoin going from 1 to 32, and provided a RALLY would start now, is there a way to determine how fast it could go to that point again and even higher?
I am currently being bullish on bitcoin because I see that it won't dip below 3.80.
Since your predictions never come about you being bullish is a bad omen Remember that bet you offered: $100 that BTC would be at $2 or lower by the end of that week? lol he's just like minsc
