Do you mean to say that individualism is bad in some way and that the liberation of the individual from irrational societal norms is detrimental to the "moral fiber" of society somehow?

We're going ahead with DAILYMASSIVE 7:
Total initial deposit: 20 BTC
Total final after pledges: 20+2+3+2+5 = 32 BTC
Initial jackpot after pledges: 9.6 BTC
Be there! 8PM EST

This thread is full of win.
3404  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally is starting on: September 30, 2011, 06:00:24 PM
BTC is back to the price it should be!
I see $7 unless someone cashes in 10k or something.
3405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally is starting on: September 30, 2011, 04:12:39 PM
Just like the 5.2 wall will go poof!

Good luck selling dead coins.
3407  Economy / Services / Re: GET 20 BTC IF YOU ARE A WEB DEV (and rewards for translators) on: September 30, 2011, 02:22:26 PM
I will look into making a simple JS client for the API this weekend. Remember that javascript restricts cross domain requests, so it will have to reside on your server (well, under the same domain, but that's likely to be the same thing in this case) in order to work.

(For dev, I'll write a quick proxy that will redirect local requests back to your server, so you don't need to give me access for development)

Sounds good.

Bump
3409  Economy / Speculation / Rally is starting on: September 30, 2011, 04:34:32 AM
It's moving up slowly but surely right now.  We're going to be hitting that fake wall soon this morning.
3410  Economy / Speculation / Re: $/BTC Time Series (Probability) Analysis on: September 30, 2011, 04:32:35 AM
The market is already beginning to move up now.  Not by much but a clear uptrend is there. (I'm looking at intraday charts)
3411  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BitPonzi.Net - The Bitcoin Ponzi Site - Now Hosted on VPS, NO MORE DOWNTIME! on: September 30, 2011, 03:42:47 AM

Initial deposit: 41 BTC
ROI: 80%

This means a starting jackpot of 12.3 BTC!!
I'm not asking for pledges on this one!  It WILL happen!
3412  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BitPonzi.Net - The Bitcoin Ponzi Site - Now Hosted on VPS, NO MORE DOWNTIME! on: September 30, 2011, 12:23:35 AM
Or 100% jackpot, -100% ROI could work too, basically last depositor gets everything.

scary Shocked
I wouldn't be participating in such a game Tongue
By the way, today's daily massive has been cancelled due to very, very lackluster demand.
Tomorrow I am holding a HUGE daily massive to compensate. This time, I need everyone to contribute 15btc! This round is going to be HUGE, with a 30btc starting deposit and a 13.5btc starting jackpot, and it will be FAST, with a 1hr expiration time!  Everyone who's willing, PM ME and pledge here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?hl=en_US&formkey=dE5uYnlrUjh3ek81Sk1NX2kwbTVkYmc6MQ#gid=0
If there are less than 15btc in pledges I'll downgrade it to a 20btc initial deposit.  The recent few have been extremely successful and I'm surprised that nobody came today.

runlinux and I are thinking about making a huge 40btc initial deposit jackpot-only game.  Why do we call it jackpot-only? Because you don't get paid unless you're last.  We're putting it at 100% roi and 1hr expiration.  Let the fighting begin!
Tell us what you think.

Wait, how can it be 100% ROI and jackpot-only?

Basically you'll only be in for the jackpot bc there's no way you'll get paid out.

Wouldn't that be 0% ROI?

Sorry, wording was misleading.

Anyways it's 40btc/100/30/0.75hr

If theres enough interest, I can force in a 0% ROI game. Probably not going to allow it regularly tho, its not really a ponzi is theres no ROI..

Hmm sounds interesting... Sort of like a lottery except lower risk...

Triple bottoms are very rare.  Far more often you break through the support and try again lower.
This is interesting.  Where can I read about how this principle was established?

You can't; the reverse is recognized by some people:

Hi everyone, pledge for DAILYMASSIVE7! Since 6 survived the night, this one is going to have a 1.5hr expiration.  It'll be 1hr then 0.5hr for the next two!

We are quite close to the time when we see whether bitcoin markets will survive.  Many long term and short term trends will meet in the first week of October... I have a feeling that any price movement will be upwards based on these probability charts. We're overdue for a rally!
3420  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BitPonzi.Net - The Bitcoin Ponzi Site - Now Hosted on VPS, NO MORE DOWNTIME! on: September 29, 2011, 03:35:01 AM
It must be... mb300sd!

haha, nope, I've been asleep for the past 4 hours... Been getting 5 hours a night the past couple days.. a small part because of all the daily massives, mostly because of school and/or driving 500 miles to watch football.

My daily massives are having an impact on people's sleep patterns! yay!
mb300sd: have you invested in dm6?

Not yet, going to wait to try and get the jackpot since I missed the beginning.

Might get lucky.. it's 9.9btc now and growing :O
