Don't forget to restart the devices with a power cycle after the firmware flash. I keep forgetting to do so, and no wonder it's getting the same exact speed now as it was before the flash.... doh.

Yes I got it, and I am pissed. Probably triggered by an amount over $1k, or some stupid shit like that. I've had my account for a while, and have deposited and withdrawn several times.

We're working on a solution right now to enable customers of MtGox to get a check, wire, or local ACH withdrawal.
Awesome! Just got an e-mail from Dwolla "We need to verify your identity!": - http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=84108.0Me too, and I didn't even use an exchange! Fucking hell.

I am 99.99% sure that O_Shovah made that, and it is on an unmodified single. Note also the IR images which he has shared for all the other FPGAs he owns. I don't know if they have some agreement, though.
If that is the case, then I hope he starts selling them asap!

I just got an email from the big D asking me to verify my identity. They want a picture of my ID.
The reason I'm hesitant to do this is because when they see I'm not 18 they might pull a PayPal and freeze ("limit") my account.
I skimmed their TOS and I see nothing regarding age, so I should be fine. I just wanted to ask here in case anybody has already gone through this and wants to share some advice.
Thanks, Garrett
I just got one as well. Fucking Dwolla. Just after a large p2p transfer, not even touching an exchange.

Personal problems. The business was doing good. I do have milk chocolate oranges left.
Oh well. I have 2.65268018 BTC left, how many oranges will that get me?

Guys, im shutting down. I will no longer be accepting new orders. I will be concentrating on getting rid of my current supply. Everything has been marked down. When its all gone thats it. Thanks for buying from me.
Aww, what went wrong? Do you have any milk chocolate oranges left?

Bump for sales. Reasonable offers accepted.
How does 10 BTC sound? Of course at that price, I would expect you to cover shipping. I think you forgot a few zeroes. Oh gotcha, 10.00 BTC Sure, 1000 sounds great! It's more than I'm asking, you know. No seriously, 500 BTC takes it right now, with fast shipping to the US and Canada. I can even buy and install accessories and operating systems at cost, if you want it to be even more awesome on arrival.

website-unavailable.com is what shows when you are using OpenDNS - it gets returned instead of SERVFAIL or NXDOMAIN.

$2500 for a $5k dream machine sounds like a steal to me....

No one has ever dreamed of 36kw of 48v?

Beautiful. I like the pluggable design.

Isn't my account easily vulnerable to a man-in-the-middle attack without SSL (HTTPS) being required?
I know that the withdrawal will require a password and that page is only SSL, but wouldn't an attacker that sniffs and sees my session id able to then able to submit wagers using my balance? That would seem to be an odd attack, but it could be used to juice up the payout for the attacker by getting a higher level of wagers on the losing side.
I've found that enforcing https for everything reduces the performance as things are not always cached properly. Requiring password for betting is also a nuisance. Either option would disrupt the user experience. Also as you have mentioned, unless the men-in-the-middle does not want to annoy you, he does not have an incentive for placing random bets. But if there is a demand from many users we can implement one the solutions. I think a good compromise would be to have a user-selectable option to enable or disable always-on SSL connections. That way, even if we ignore the session hijacking idea, it would also prevent simple sniffing and seeing whether and how a person is betting.

Forgive me for hacking up your cool picture, but this is what I meant when I said offset: Is it worth it?

Lol i did kind of write it wierd now that i look back at it. I was kind of suggesting solar power but i dont know enough about how farday cages work well enough to see how that would work.
A Faraday cage or screen works by becoming the conductor of least resistance and spreading the charge around the cage/screen. The reason someone working with high tension wires needs one is because the voltage is so high that the air absorbs some of the charge, and a person contacting it would find themselves turned into a large current sink. It would be unhealthy because the parts of the body that aren't on contact with the high tension wire would instead be in contact with the air, and the current flowing through the body from the wire to the air would be uncomfortable, at best. The Faraday cage/screen (in this example, a wire mesh suit) acts as a large antenna, conducting the residual and capacitive charges safely into the air bypassing the body because the suit is a better conductor of electricity. A standard cage works in much the same way; it must be connected to a ground plane so that it can draw off any charges that are emitted by external influences. This is all in the context of high voltage charges, but radio and electromagnetic charges can be taken care of by a similar arrangement - however, the ground plane requirement is eliminated because the screen acts as a reflector, not a conductor.

Could you have the chips offset from one another so that the hot air from the first ones isn't warming the second ones?
Even if they weren't perfectly offset, you could use strips of plastic to duct the air around them.

If you can't install that stuff yourself, then you probably shouldn't be playing server admin.
