1441  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Confession: I have developed 30+ HYIP/Ponzi Scripts :( on: June 18, 2015, 07:13:29 AM
If you are the writer of the scripts, then you will have the sourcecode. Try to find some bugs or hackable points at that, if it is found then we can stop the sites from scamming people.

Or even better, post the code on github and let us all help finding bugs to bring those scammers down... I for one would be happy to help in my spare time
1442  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk BBCode New Feature - The Hobbit Header! on: June 18, 2015, 07:10:46 AM
I honestly see nothing wrong with the text nor the header... Google chrome on windows 7
1443  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Play Flappy Bird on your Android Phone and win FREE BTC! Faucet on: June 18, 2015, 06:09:52 AM
It IS addictive, my kid used the 200 free rounds in about 30 minutes... To bad she can only make about $0.30/day, if she wins the 200 free rounds...
1444  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: antminer s3 sale on ebay.in on: June 18, 2015, 05:43:00 AM
Why are you posting this?

I think anybody here can find an S3 specification...

Do you want to buy this HW and want advice wether or not it's a good price, in that case: also give the link.

Are you selling this, in this case you should move your thread to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0
1445  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your smartphone? on: June 18, 2015, 05:38:16 AM
I have a doogee voyager 2. Really cheap, fast, reliable,... I really like chinese phones, as soon as they break, just buy a new one, they're just so cheap  Grin

http://www.wankcoin.com/all-sites-that-accept-wankcoin/
--snip--
If you go to the link above, all the websites listed there accept BTC, LTC, DOGE, and WKC.

This might look like a big list, but let's not forget the sites on this list are owned by the same big company. So from the dozens of really big porn company's, there are only a handfull that have implemented a payment gateway that allows bitcoin or altcoin payments...
1447  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What kind of miners do you have now on: June 18, 2015, 05:28:26 AM
You are completely right, there is no ROI, but it's a good chance to understand how it works the mining, and motivate you to upgrade to the next level Smiley
Good luck altcoinhosting
Thanks  Grin Altough i'm not completely sure my wife will like it if i take mining to the next level (our Kwh rate is €0.27  Undecided )...
1448  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Brazzers Premium Lifetime Accounts for sale: 10$ on: June 17, 2015, 07:05:58 PM
i did not know brazzers had lifetime accounts...

1450  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What kind of miners do you have now on: June 17, 2015, 03:13:57 PM
Thanks for the tip... I actually didn't even thing about the fact if it was sha256 or scrypt, i just wanted them to experiment with mining...

Indeed, my nick is altcoinhosting, but that's actually because i regged a domain altcoinhosting.com, offering users the possibility to pay with altcoins for their hosting. I'm planning to exchange those altcoins to BTC anyway  Grin
1451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy a prepaid crypto card? on: June 17, 2015, 03:08:48 PM

That is why I keep an extra battery charger like this with me if I am going to be away from the home for too long.  It is actually really handy, especially if I need to wait somewhere like at the doctors office.

I don't think I would have any use for such a prepaid card, but who knows, someone might find it useful.

dx.com sells them for about $5 (at least, they used to, that's where i bought mine a year ago)
1452  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is bitodex.com a scam? on: June 17, 2015, 02:03:11 PM
they are listed on https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_To_Buy_Bitcoins_With_Your_Credit_Card

I almost sent my cash over there because i need to buy some BTC with my creditcard (i wanted to use my CC in my Paypal acct).

Thanks for warning naive users like me, this thread has saved me a lot of worries  Smiley.

Is there any resputable service that doesn't have those insane fees, where i can buy BTC with my mastercard or maestro without being scammed?
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any Hard drive mining based coins runnable through Raspberry pi? on: June 17, 2015, 01:52:44 PM

Aliexpress uses escrow they don't receive money until you confirm the goods
-snip-

I learned something new today  Grin. One of my friends did claim he was scammed on aliexpress, but i never asked him for proof. Maybe he didn't know he could dispute the shipping or something...
1454  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What kind of miners do you have now on: June 17, 2015, 01:39:12 PM
I have few usb miners but i am thinking to get rid of them.
When i bought it was interesting for me, but now half of them work and half not.
Oh!  I forgot about my USB miners Smiley.  I've got 5 Antminer U2 that give me about 9GH/s.  I have them pointed to -ck's solo pool... because you never know.  They cost virtually nothing to run (they're plugged into an rPi).

I'm about to buy 2 U2's to start experimenting with mining... No chance of getting ROI, but that's not my main motivation  Cool
1455  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is My Electrian Overcharging on: June 17, 2015, 01:38:07 PM
i was supprised just how much copper cable costs... In my country, a cable of 10cm² costs about 25 euro's/meter (at least, that's what i payed for it a couple of years ago).

Manual labour is 30-35 euro's/hour...

a good switchboard, with all jumpers installed will cost another couple hundred...

These are prices i payed a couple years ago, using a registered electrician. Maybe in your country, or using an unofficial guy, prices might be (a lot) lower
1456  Economy / Lending / Re: Req .2 BTC loan no collateral on: June 17, 2015, 12:44:18 PM
idk i was told 2 try here, honestly i wouldn't expect some1 to loan a brand new account, more often then not it's a scam.
i posted for a service maybe that will come thru.

i have d1 league of legends account but i'm not giving any1 the email to it so i cant give that collateral

Personally, i won't lend anybody BTC, because i don't have that much myself, and i'm new to the scene to... But giving an account as collateral is quite safe.
You don't give your account user/passwd to the lender, you give access to your account to a trusted escrow.
Lots of these escrow guys have escrowd hundreds of deals, without ever stealing or cheating, so the risk you're getting scammed out of your account is hundreds of times smaller than the lender getting scammed while lending you 50 bucks (.2BTC)
1457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy a prepaid crypto card? on: June 17, 2015, 12:27:51 PM
I think it would depend on the price... If i can buy cheaper BTC elsewhere, i will not buy a prepaid card, if this is the cheapest option for me, i would buy it...
1458  Economy / Lending / Re: Req .2 BTC loan no collateral on: June 17, 2015, 12:00:41 PM
I always find it strange that people claim they have no collateral...
IMO you always have some form of collateral:
- accounts worth some cash (forumaccounts, paypal, redpay, localbitcoins,rootaccounts,...)
- gift cards
- physical goods (find a lender from the same region as you and give him your playstation as collateral if needs to be)
- ...
1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any Hard drive mining based coins runnable through Raspberry pi? on: June 17, 2015, 06:12:51 AM
Wow, that's VERY cheap indeed.

Altough i've heared people getting scammed by aliexpress. I always use DX.com for my china purchases...
But if you stick to paying with paypal, you can always charge back in case you package goes missing in china...

Probably an OEM version of windows, but if it's just to run a miner, i guess that won't make any difference...

1460  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How much money do I need to invest before I start making money? on: June 17, 2015, 06:03:13 AM
the time for break even or roi, will not change based on your investments, so if you invest in one antminer s5, it will be the same if you invest in 10 antminer s5...

initial cost/ total hash power ratio will always be the same

Unless you can get a better deal by buying in bulk, or for example, buy a PSU that can power several antminers. You'll need to buy a PSU wether you have 1 or 3. (i guess this goes for all infrastructure costs: they'll become cheaper the more you invest... Cooling, power, storage, security)

Also, if you set up a big farm and register as a company, you might get you power cheaper?

I'm just a beginner myself, so i hope these assumptions are correct?
