581  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone to do blog commenting on: December 17, 2015, 08:22:51 PM
I am still waiting for a reply. It's been a month now and I haven't received any reply nor payment.

Same here... Maybe we can contact the owners of the site we were asked to comment for? I'm not going to publicly tell everybody which site it was, but they have a user on the forum, and an active thread... Maybe they can shed some light on the situation? If not, i'm going to remove all the comments i wasn't payed for.

A miner for android already exists. It burns your phone and kills your battery in mere hours.

584  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it possible to import a private key offline ? on: December 15, 2015, 10:12:07 AM
Sure, you can import a private key in an offline bitcoin core client and use it to sign transactions Smiley

But how do your computer that is not connected to the internet how much BTC there is on it ? If funds are added, will your balance be actualised ?

you should create the transaction with an online wallet, then transfer it to your offline machine where you imported the private key, and sign it offline... Afterwards you need to transfer the signed transaction to an online machine to broadcast it...

There are some good step by step guides on this forum on how to achieve this Wink

about $1400 at current BTC price, so it seems
587  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BTC miner on: December 15, 2015, 08:49:54 AM
At the moment, the S7 seems to be the best one you can buy... However, even an S7 might not make you money in case you're from the EU (import taxes) or have high electricity rates, or if you're just unlucky (unlucky, downwards btc price, upwards diff,...)

What you can also do it try to buy a cheap second hand miner... But everything depends on your own unique circumstances (country, VAT, electricity rate, budget, place, luck,...)

I won't make a habit out of daily bumping, however i'll remove this message once in a while, and post a new bump!
589  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BTC miner on: December 15, 2015, 08:39:13 AM
It really depends on your electricity... There are a couple online sites you can use to calculate how much coins you'll make at current difficulty, with the current block reward and with the current bitcoin price...

https://www.google.com/search?q=bitcoin%20profit%20calculator

EDIT: please, take note about the word current in my previous text! Your electricity price, difficulty, block reward, bitcoin price and luck might change overnight!

592  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Cryptocurrency vanitygen address on: December 11, 2015, 02:47:21 PM
The main problem is that you (OP) will also know the private key... So, basically, you could sweep the address as soon as your buyer transfers bitcoin to it.
593  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [EU] 10x SP20E ... open to offers on: December 11, 2015, 10:49:14 AM
i will accept escrow from ognasty.
I make successfull transactions in the past in this forum, but i see the other parts dont vote green to me :-(

I can vouch for Ognasty, he's a great guy... And really fast to Smiley
It's a shame that not everybody leaves feedback after a deal... I made a lot of deals without being left positive trust... I'm even the "victim" of a feedback spammer, so my profile even looks red from the untrusted feedback he gave me...

Anyways, thanks for the feedback on my bid. I already had a feeling 0.5BTC would be to low for an sp20e, since it looks like they're around $500 newprice (without PSU and shipping). 0.5 is the maximum i'm allowed to spend tough, or i'll have a fight with my wife about it Sad.
If you'd ever change your mind, you can always PM me Wink
594  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [EU] 10x SP20E ... open to offers on: December 11, 2015, 10:37:41 AM
I'm not trying to insult you by making a low offer, but i'm searching for a mining rig to heat part of my house (i installed solar panels, and have some left over energy which i would like to use to heat up the house... Making some coins in the meantime would be a nice bonus)... The thing is that i have a maximum budget (i made a deal with my wife, and i promised her i wouldn't spend to much on this)

My maximum bid would be 0.5BTC, this would be including shipping... I'm located in the EU.
Since you have a low rank, and i don't have green trust myself, i would insist on using a trusted forum escrow (i would pay the fee)

I completely understand if 0.5BTC would be to low, but in case you don't find an other buyer, you can PM me (i'm interested Smiley )

I find it strange that he would do this... Wouldn't he add a signature?
598  Economy / Services / Re: Paying some one to make Bitcoin faucet. on: December 10, 2015, 12:30:30 PM
So a site like http://faucet.bitcoinzebra.com/?ref=moonbitcoin would take quite som effort with the weekly payment run and such?

Maybe somebody better/smarter than me would be able to make a script like that fast... But for me, it would take tens of hours to do so...
I could make a quick estimate, but i'm pretty sure it'll be a lot more than $40 to write one.

Maybe if you're lucky, you can find a student, or somebody from a lower wage country to write this script for you, in that case it could be a lot cheaper.
599  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [Lottery - Round 1] Buy a ticket and win up to 0.01 BTC on: December 10, 2015, 12:27:43 PM
master-P contacted for escrow lottery funds.
If every one has old miner or new miner, then you should donate your miner to solo.ckpool.org to increase the balance if the miner hit the block. Info is in first post.

Seems like it would be a waste to donate hashpower to increase your lotto balance instead of lotto mining for ourselfs... just saying Smiley
600  Economy / Services / Re: Paying some one to make Bitcoin faucet. on: December 10, 2015, 12:17:50 PM
I have about 30-40 usd to use, enough for an ok custom script? I dont need no fancy design at all really. And those free scripts do not provide a directly paying method?

Can't say that i ever ran a faucet myself... For me, the amount of proceeds would never justify the effort it would take to run one. But if i understood correctly, the faucetbox script is indeed tied to faucetbox... So it wouldn't pay directly, no.

Maybe somebody would be willing to write you a custom script for $30-$40, personally i won't be able to write one for this amount, sorry (i charge between $25 and $50 per hour, and it would take a couple of hours to write a secure script)...
