can you please explain me how are you going to do your solo mining, as i also wanted to try
I have a Core2duo 2gb ram 500gb hdd / intel motherboard with in built graphics, will be sufficient to mine and how can i do this
please help me with this detail.
No, it won't be sufficient to mine.... There is a very very very very very small chance you'll hit a block, but it's almost not existent... If you do want to solo mine, i guess your best chance would be to use a solo mining pool like this one: https://solo.nicehash.com/It will save you the hassle of running a node, setting up bfgminer, cpuminer,.... (you'll still have to setup this software, but usually the pool has an easy how-to made for you)

Loan Amount : 0.01 BTC Address : 1Co1YgJMFvn986kA1RfPoGnC9s2D55EsvM Term Length : 48 hours Days. Interest Rate : 25% Collateral : Account if you accept.
0.01 BTC is the maximum i can do with a junior account as collateral... But only if you can sign a message with a BTC address from an unedited post you made in the first couple of weeks you were a member of bitcointalk.... If you accept i expect: - 0.0125 back within 3 days
- a pm with a link to a post were you used your BTC address + a signed message message with this address... The message should be "i am bitcoinbettingtips, giving this account as collateral for a loan to altcoinhosting on 24 august 2015"
- a PM with your account username/password (so i can lock your account during the loan) OR confirmation from a trusted escrow that he has controll of your account (see OP for escrow list, escrow fees are up to you)
As soon as i have controll over your account (or confirmation from an escrow) AND a signed message, i'll send 0.01 BTC to the BTC account you used to sign the message...

:-) Thanks.
Is there a pool you can recommend, where I can mine several sha256-based-coins? I liked the idea of ghash's multipool.
Is there something similar wih sha256?
Thanks
I personally use https://www.multipool.us , altough there might be better ones out there... I'm pretty new to mining myself, and i'm still figuring things out

Hm, Hard, but honest answer :-(
It's not that hard... Even tough you can not mine scrypt coins with your ASIC, you are perfectly capable of mining sha-256 coins (bitcoin, namecoin,...)... So it's not like your setup is worthless, you just have to switch your pool

Just a heads up: your system works great... I used vmware to run a clean XP, and executed all .bat-files sequentially... Ended up with the bitcoin deamon, qt,... Now, i'm going to try to clone bitcoin 0.11.0 for educational purposes, and build it with your tool (i'm not planning to release yet another altcoin into the community)

i hope there is like a list of sites that we can use bitcoin to subscribe i'm still working on one, on the NSFW-section of buywithbtc.biz

Loan amount : 0.1 BTC Collateral : My account Repayment amount : 0.15BTC in 2 week Bitcoin address : 12zFxt3wtkHuLonTEnGBLYZu58bkz7GfoB
I value your account at around 0.005-0.01... I would certainly doubt you can get a 0.1 BTC loan with this account as collateral... It's just basic economics: IF you do not pay me back, i'll need enough collateral to recuperate my BTC, and this account just isn't enough... Do you own any other accounts/LBC accounts/Altcoins? EDIT ==> quickseller just gave you neg. trust... Making your account worthless... i'm sorry, but i guess you cannot even get a 0.005 loan with this account i'm afraid

yeah it's hell on earth. Hopefully this helps.
It made it clear for me that operating systems like Windows and Mac OS (by default) can't be taken serious any more for development.
Thanks for the effort, and for sharing... I'll probably report back on monday (if my build succeeds) +1 on the fact that neither windows nor mac os are suitable for development

does this one still works? I'm stuck crosscompiling my wallet using gitian on debian and i'm searching form something more straightforeward...
yes - for me at least It's quite easy once you have figured this part out: About to download MinGW/MSYS installer - you need to install it manually. Note: Install to default directory: %MINGWPATH% Unselect "... also install support for the graphical user interface."
It will start the MinGW download in your browser once you press a key. You then have to manually launch the downloaded MinGW installer and remember to unselect that option. Once the installer stops working it has finished and you can press a key in the easywinbuilder command line window. I'm going to try this one out this evening Compiling the bitcoind binary or the wallet for bitcoin or any altcoin for linux is pretty easy, but i've never actually been able to build a qt wallet for windows... I've tried using the windows compile tools, crosscompiling with mxe, crosscompiling with gitian (mingw)... Always hit a dead end after 2-3 days...

I strongly advise against solo mining. You can set up your miner to Eligius (pool I recommend) the same way jonnybravo0311 described in his post. Use stratum+tcp://stratum.mining.eligius.st:3334 instead. Is there a reason you're using eligius, or just personal preference? I'm searching for the pool that gives me the most dust and has the lowest possible withdrawal fee (currently only mining with 2 Antminer U2's + 1 gridseed GC3355). The reason i ask is because my hashrate is only around 10G, so when i use the wrong pool, it might take months before i can even withdraw my tiny earnings... I knew i would never ROI with these toys, but i wanted to learn about mining...

|
You should add an estimated ROI date as well.
((Take earnings total / number of days) - days passed) / total spent = days to go
Will do that next time Edit.... Oh why not, i have some time: ((0.00985115/(365*2))-20)/0.1072017 = -186 I haven't checked your formula, but according to this formula, i have about 186 days to go untill ROI Now, let's hope accumining still exists in 2 years + the halving has a huge positive effect on the price (and a negative effect on the difficulty) + accumining's fees stay the same... Lol...

In this article I explain WHY you should wait on buying it, and also, I did a TON of math to prove why you should wait. All of my work is here, and is accurate, feel free to double check yourself: https://thebtcpool.com/bitmains-s5-in-revenue/I see no fault in your logic, you made a typo tough ==snip== Now, lets look at revenue, mining in a pool:
Per Day: $17.49 (0.744 BTC)
Per Month: $532.44 (2.266 BTC) ==snip==
