1121  Other / Meta / Re: Am I the only 1 get this problem? on: August 10, 2015, 09:04:38 AM
i dont experience such problems. maybe try to contact your ISP

it's rather strange that you don't have these errors... It's an nginx 502-error, so it's server-side, so it should be the same for everybody...

Maybe you're just lucky Wink

1123  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan - GOT COLLATERAL on: August 10, 2015, 08:08:09 AM
I can give you a 0.06BTC loan, payback would be 0.062 if payed back within 6 days...

I would need 6 LTC as collateral, i would need a signed message that you accept the fact that i hold the collateral on an exchange (if it gets hacked, it's up to you), i also need a signed message verifying that if the price of LTC suddenly drops, you'll either transfer extra collateral to my exchange account, or you accept the fact that i'll sell your LTC for BTC to minimize the volatility risk...
Also, the transaction fees are up to you...

If you want to, you can also use an escrow to hold your LTC (same rule still applies: if the price suddenly drops, the escrow will have to get more LTC from you or sell the LTC in order to make sure the collateral stays valid)

The OP already stated 4.2 LTC is all he has:

@Real14Hero: Sorry, I need the original amount.

@Rest: That's all the LTC I have. I will let the thread open, maybe someone will trust me?

And, no offense altcoinhosting, but ideally, you should always use escrow to hold the collateral.

Sorry, i didn't read the whole thread  Embarrassed I now see the OP only had this amount of LTC, which isn't sufficient as collateral for the full amount... I'll read the whole thread next time...

About the escrow: i did say i'm OK with it, i have no problem with an escrow holding the collateral. I just feel it's up to the one taking out the loan. If he trusts me, he doesn't need escrow to hold his collateral. If he doesn't trust me: by all means, use an escrow Wink

1128  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2015, 06:48:08 AM
bitcoin can not be given to children, no matter how great you told him, he would not understand

my 7yo has a dogecoin wallet, and she does understand that it's virtual money...
1129  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans from 0.01 to 0.1 BTC , 0.5% daily intrest, collateral, escrow OK on: August 10, 2015, 06:42:25 AM
Amount: .15 BTC
Interest: .003 / day
Collateral: BTCTalk Account
Reason: Investment Trading
Repayment Amount:
Repayment Date: 8/18/15
BTC Address: 1GM6bEdzJdZN535cwposfRoFfiqk1YgBQf

Sorry dude, but like Jhanzo said: your account defenately doesn't cover the loan request as collateral...

If you read the rules in the original post, you would have found that i only do loans up to .1, and i only have .09 available at the moment. Also, you would have found a collateral estimator, estimating a member account with negative trust at 0.00000008BTC, meaning it could not be used as collatera by itself, since the minimum intrest is 0.002 (see OP). This means, in order to loan 0.01, you would need 150.000 negative trust member accounts to cover the loan as a collateral...

1130  Economy / Lending / Re: Very URGENT !!! LOAN NEED !! MY KIDS ARE KIDNAPPED on: August 09, 2015, 02:03:15 PM
there should be a regular expression ignore button:

"Ignore all threads containing the expression '[Pp]ro\s[Ll]ender' within the title or the first 10 lines of the OP... The forum would be a much cleaner place...

1135  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Looking for users to BETA-test our platform at accumining.com on: August 08, 2015, 06:22:58 AM

To confirm, this is after ~6 days? So around a 150-day ROI right now?

Well, it's 7 days in my timezone Wink , and i have 2 contracts (i have the 63 ghs contract AND the 5 ghs beta contract).
But all in all, i think i'll have my investment back in under 200 days (in case accumining still exists by then, and if the block halving has little effect on my income)
1136  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans from 0.01 to 0.1 BTC , 0.5% daily intrest, collateral, escrow OK on: August 08, 2015, 06:19:22 AM
hi there looking for a loan of .1 for .12 back on August 10th. i want the loan to 1AAchQeqJERHvG4NCAcV8JaWXq74z3bJLH ive had 48 btc in and nout in 5 months im getting paid $350 on monday for sure. i can use this account or my betcoin account as collateral

thanks

Sorry dude, but your collateral does not cover your loan by a long shot...

Since you're using a newbie account, i will elaborate in USD (it's easyer to understand): You are asking for a $30 loan, and as collateral you give me something worth $0 (i simple can not sell a negative trust newbie account... even if i gave it away for free, i'm pretty sure nobody would accept it).

Collateral should be an incentive for you to pay your loan back, hence, it should be worth more than the loan + the intrest. This way, you actually want to pay me back instead of running with my money...

So, if you want a loan, i suggest you come up with collateral actually worth $34.

1137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Multiplying the price by 10 after each halving, is it right ? on: August 07, 2015, 07:30:13 PM
it would be great tough, but i doubt i'll be that lucky  Grin
1138  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans from 0.01 to 0.1 BTC , 0.5% daily intrest, collateral, escrow OK on: August 07, 2015, 05:59:15 PM
I'm back from vacation, and will be able to offer loans with collateral faster than i did last week  Smiley

I'll edit the OP tomorrow to reflect the 2 loans i gave during my vacation + i'll remove my vacation planning...

(+0.00277232BTC)

At the moment, i've calculated the following (fees are INCLUDED, since they are obligatory):

Cost:
0.1072017

Proceeds:
0.00091853 + 0.00277232 = 0.00369085

Difference:
0.00369085 - 0.1072017 = −0.10351085

Start date: 2015-07-31
End date (in case accumining still exsists in 2 years): 2017-07-31
