1) This is like saying people will not use email because they aren't computer savyy back in the day
2) This is a good point, but you could need ID verification anyway
3) This could be solved by having a regulation that says business running under BTC must re-send money if the rebill request is legit
4) Again we are on the early ages, this gets solved itself with time and popularity
5) Same as 3)
6) Porn is all over the internet and producers have no idea who originally uploaded it lol, BTC is nothing new in this regard

I'm sorry, English isn't my native language, so i guess i must have used the wrong intonation. The point i wanted to convey was NOT that bitcoin and porn will NEVER mix, merely that there is a long road ahead before porn and bitcoin will actually work in most pornsites.

I'm in the adult business as an affiliate for 16 years now, and i can can honestly say that i believe all my points are 100% valid for the time being... I'm not talking about "in 5 years" or "after (self) regulation" or "after these extra services are invented to circumvent the current shortcomings"

If nobody is willing to sell you a premade site, 1BTC is more then enough to order a site...
Heck, for 1 BTC i'll :
  • register you a nice domainname for 1 year
  • give you hosting for a year (within certain traffic and load limits)
  • install https://faucetinabox.com/ (for a faucet), wordpress (for a cryptoblog) or a forum system of your choice

**ofcourse, this offer isn't final, everything needs to be negotiated so we know what exactly must happen for which price
1503  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] established website small on: June 10, 2015, 01:29:29 PM
what kind of site are you looking for? I've got some adult sites i would be willing to sell for aroud 1 BTC

Do you need to be tech savvy to use Paypal or a online banking? Using blockchain.info is as easy as Paypal and wallets aren't really any different to online banking.
I'm not saying it's hard, i'm just speaking from experience that the common pornsurfer will assume it's hard. I've succesfully setup several sites in the 3D niche, requiring a basic understanding of a 3D TV, colored glasses,... I know most pr0nsurfers will just lose intrest as soon as there is a basic level of knowledge or learning curve involved... I'm not going to argue that using blockchain.info is hard, it just seems hard for a guy who's just trying to see some pr0n.

This could be an issue but I'm sure there's a way round it.
Sure, but as soon as you need to verify someone's age, you need some kind of proof, and lose the anonymity part (which is a great asset for BTC)

A rebill system could easily be implemented, but you can just pay each month or upfront or you don't get the service.
Well, as soon as a rebill system exists (i don't know of any right now), this issue might dissapear. Paying each month upfront is not really the point of debate. The thing with rebilling is that most members will forget that they'll be rebilled, so when they actually wanted to stop using the paysite's service, they will be billed for one last time... It's just plain and simple cash in the pocket for paysite owners... This benefit dissapears when you expect users to pay each month upfront...

There are some considerations on using BTC for adult related websites.

1) A lot of paying users are not to computer-savvy. I hardly doubt they would have a bitcoin wallet
2) BTC = no age verification
3) as being said before, no rebills when using BTC
4) A lot of $$$ for website owners is also coming from "upselling" (selling adult memberships from within the member area). This won't happen as long as BTC isn't accepted by the majority of adult paysites (it's a chicken or egg situation)
5) the user doesn't have the possibility of a chargeback, unless using an adult escrow service for the duration of the legal chargeback period. This might sound great for website owners, but i think visitors will be less interested in case they cannot chargeback their money if the adult site fails to deliver.
6) anonymity in case of abuse (you don't know who has acces to your copyrighted material, so you have no clue who's the culprit when your new movies pop up on the piratebay)

I'm afraid, for now, an adult membership payed in BTC would have to be twice the price as a membership payed with VISA or mastercard in order to be profitable  Sad

On the other hand, i would love it if some more adult affiliate programs (webmaster programs) would pay me in BTC, less fees, faster payouts  Grin

still waiting  Cry want to buy some Khs

My funds were hanging for over 2 days, but yesterday my funds was added to my account... Hang in there, i'm not completely conviced this isn't a scam site, but at least for now, it seems to keep on running  Smiley
1508  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitVPN.org - Best affiliate program for making bitcoin | 35% commission on: June 10, 2015, 07:06:50 AM
I'm going to try to send some targetted adult traffic your way (not a lot to start out, couple hundred a week for starters)...

I'll put your add in the header or footer of my free bloghost for a couple of hours a day, if that's OK for you. The reason i'm asking is because your add will be on top of some pages that aren't directly controlled by myself (the content is uploaded by my users directly). I do remove blogs that receive copyright (or other legal) complaints ASAP.

IF my traffic would convert for your program, would you be willing to make some more adult-oriented banners, or do you want to stay away from the adult world  Wink

I don't know if my visitors would think this way, but i can imagine your service is perfect for them: pay your vpn with bitcoins, neither your boss nor your wife will ever find out you're watching pr0n from a work PC... Now i'll need to snatch up some adult affiliate programs that pay out in BTC  Grin

I've sent you a PM with my location and the maximum price i can pay for an errupter + postage.

Thanks!
1510  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: USB Miners & More on: June 10, 2015, 05:38:08 AM
I might be interested in an usb block erupter, preferably one that looks like a common usbstick, so i can plug it in at work and have free electricity  Cool

Some questions:
  • Do you send to europe (i'll send you my country in PM if this option is available)
  • What's the hashrate for those one's?
  • Instead of escrow, can you also do a tracked delivery payed with paypal (so you can prove i got the item, and i can claim my money back if i never get it...?

1514  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] AwesomeHD.net on: June 09, 2015, 07:45:29 AM
When i visit this url, i don't see a torrent website. I see a common landing page, usually indicating the domain is for sale... I guess there must be a typo in the domainname in your original post
1515  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] AwesomeHD.net on: June 09, 2015, 07:02:46 AM
you want to buy awesomeHD.net?
Why do you ask this on a bitcoin forum? Do you know one of the members is owner of this domain?

I did the effort of pulling the whois-info for this domain (http://whois.domaintools.com/awesomehd.net) , it's most probably owned by http://www.fabulous.com/, maybe you can contact them directly?
1516  Economy / Services / [NSFW] create your own adult site on: June 08, 2015, 07:23:41 PM
Hi Guys,

As a newbie, it's hard to get my hands on some BTC to experiment with, so a couple of weeks ago i registered altcoinhosting.com and tried to sell some shared hosting accounts since i tought they would generate some interest and fund my account.
Nobody seemed interested  Sad

So today, i'm offering something which i hope will attrackt more interest: CREATE YOUR OWN ADULT SITE!

I've been making pr0nsites for about 16 years, but lost most of my domains during the registerfly-crash. My current oldest erotic domain (whipp3d.com) has been online nonstop since 2012, and makes me around $2000/year. (i can take some screencaps for people that are genuinly interested)

I have experience in setting up:
  • blogs
  • directory's
  • toplists
  • hot or not sites
  • review sites
  • tube sites
  • TGP's
  • promotional gallery's
  • ...

I have NO experience setting up paysites, since they require you to have your own company and a huge investement. I've never been willing to take this plunge.

i can make sure i teach you how to protect your privacy (buy domains and hosting using BTC), i can install your script, teach you about webhosting, where to find sponsors, where to get traffic, how to convert your traffic,...

Word to the wise: An adult site is to be considered a part time job, not an easy investment. It takes a bit of money (you need at least 0.5BTC as starting capital for a couple domains, hosting, design, content, scripts, my fee), and a lot of time to make this work (the more time you spend on your site, the more cash it will generate). Also: most adult sites do NOT break even within the first year, but chosing the right site, niche, sponsors and spending enough time on your site WILL make your site lucrative in the longrun!!!)

Since i'm offering a broad spectrum of services, i cannot give a standard pricing for everything. Contact me over PM if you want a custom offer or more information... I can work upfront for trusted members, and use an escrow for everybody else.

Final notice: I will not help anybody setting up an illegal site. No CP, bestiality, scat, trademark infringment, piracy,... . I'll just teach you how to make some cash in a legal way.
1517  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: unconfirmed after 14 hours on: June 08, 2015, 01:57:54 PM
Well, at least, that's how i understand the discussion... Like i said before, i'm new to bitcoin, so i might be interpreting the discussion in a wrong way, but it is my understanding that all transactions are logged correctly, and our BTC isn't gone forever
1518  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: unconfirmed after 14 hours on: June 08, 2015, 01:45:17 PM

not sure what im looking for but i checked it out, and i have allready confirmed/activated email too

It's this message specifically:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=444495.msg11565337#msg11565337

Apperantly, there is a problem with the forewarding of our BTC to the hotwallet, so the transaction to your wallet with scrypt is confirmed, the forewarding isn't => the funds don't end up in your account (at least, that's how i understand these things... i'm new to bitcoin, so my technical knowledge might not be sufficient to understand everything correctly)
