1181  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A question about european residency on: July 28, 2015, 12:46:01 PM
I know it's pretty easy to work abroad within the EU if you are a EU citizen. It's just basic formalities with the tax administration (we have several guys from a different EU country working in my company, i don't think they ever mentioned having any non-tax related problems)... But i guess you're talking about the fact that you are not a EU citizen, but have a work permit for one EU country, but you wish to work in a different EU country.

I guess a good accountant will be able to help you out for a small price. I guess his/her advice would be a lot better than the advice most of us would be able to offer you...
1182  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: July 28, 2015, 11:31:44 AM
but this is an old news, i''m sure there are many more that accept bitcoin

I'm currently building a list on buywithbtc.biz . The list is far from finished, i have about another 100 sites lined up that need to be added to the NSFW section  Grin
1183  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why Is There No Bitcoin Slot Machine In Vegas? on: July 28, 2015, 11:19:48 AM
Offcourse, there are enough gambling opportunities online that accept BTC... I've never been to las vegas myself, but i guess it would be cool to see a physical bitcoin slot machine in the future Grin
1184  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans from 0.01 to 0.1 BTC , 0.5% daily intrest, collateral, escrow OK on: July 28, 2015, 09:45:39 AM
OP edited:
  • refunded my wallet, so more BTC is available for loans
  • upgraded the maximal amount: now accepting loans up to and including 0.1BTC (more available upon request for positive trust senior and hero members)
1185  Economy / Services / Re: I need a cheap VPN service on: July 28, 2015, 09:19:35 AM

the limit regarding bandwidth , is there anything can be done to make it unlimited? like paying or something ?

Depends on where you buy your VPS... usually there are upgrade plans available, but i don't know if there are many VPS providers that have an unlimited plan...
I personally use ramnode (if you decide to sign up, you would do me a huge favour if you used my reflink, PM if interested  Wink ).

Their cheapest package is just $15/year, giving you 500Gb of bandwith a month... It's pretty easy to order some more Bandwith if you have used it all...
1186  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's the best way to keep your pc secured? on: July 28, 2015, 09:02:04 AM
I have found the easiest and safest way to secure my pc was, to change OS to linux and be careful what you download. Always scan possible shady links here https://www.virustotal.com/en/ I also use Clamtk and Comodo just in case  Smiley

Like Vervolioman said, linux does have fewer vulnerabilitys if you use it correct (for example, only install software from the original repo, stay away from privileged accounts,...). Even then, you should always use virustotal/avast when installing untrusted software...

If you stick to windows, i would defenately use a good AV, i would recommand McAffee, since it's pretty good and pretty light for your HW recources.
If you download untrusted software (like a new altcoin wallet), scan it with virustotal AND run it in a sandbox (i recommand the free version of sandboxie).

Also, wether you use linux or windows, make sure you update your OS regularly and run a decent firewall...
1187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BEST BITCOIN ADVERTISING NETWORK? on: July 28, 2015, 08:56:28 AM

OP: Awesome rating! Ad network banned my .blogspot crap - so they are not legit!

Work on your sites, make useful articles and tools, attract real audience. And that's it. All networks will be glad to pay you.

@RealBitcoin : mind telling us the url of your site? I'm interested to see why they did not allow you, my site was almost instantly approved on mellowads without any discussion or anything

Thanks for the info. We will be launching our Bitcoin Hopper game next week, would you mind testing out our PRO version on your phone? It uses a different graphics library than Coin Flapper and we have tested it on lots of devices.

Also, can anyone else help us out by testing on your device?

Send me a PM if you need more help (3 android devices available)
1190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin Crash Gold? on: July 28, 2015, 06:38:14 AM
OP, I'd be a bit skeptical that this perception has
reached the masses yet.  Otherwise we'd have
a larger market and higher price for Bitcoin.

But yeah, in the next 10,20,30 years, Gold
will go down for sure and Bitcoin will go up
for all the reasons you pointed out.

I can follow bitcoin going up and gold doing down... But BTC crashing gold seems impossible for me (just my opinion)
1191  Economy / Services / Re: I need a cheap VPN service on: July 28, 2015, 06:32:40 AM
you rent vps and then install vps service on your vps. it would be more cheaper and more usefull
let say, i rent my vps with ram 512Mb for 2$/month. i can use it for vpn, ssh, and staking wallet.

A VPS is a server that you connect to and run programs, browse the internet, share files, etc. A VPN is a connection to the internet that helps protect/anonymize you.

The OP is after a cheap VPN , not a VPS Smiley

But, like foxkyu said, you CAN install a VPN server on a VPS... The only two downsides i see, is that you only have 1 server to chose from, and that VPS servers usually have a bandwith limit, while most VPS services don't

I will also switch from miningpool.cc to m-hash.com, since miningpool.cc seems to be down so often i think it will affect my POM ratio...

My username in both pools is "zottejos", my address was sent in PM at the beginning of the campaign...

1194  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I want to start a farm mining bitcoin on: July 24, 2015, 07:21:07 AM
thanks notlist3d , philipma1957

220 volt

electricity prices in my Country
1.000 watt = 1.4$
But I will work on solar energy And batteries
Because of the high price and Electricity work 6-8 In 24 hours

----------------

Be carefull, if your farm only runs 6-8 hours/day, because you'll have to make a $7000 investment that only generates BTC 1/3th of the time... Make your calculations to be sure you'll ever break even...

1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BUB] BUBBLE Building the future in the cloud... more info released on: July 23, 2015, 07:18:30 PM
My wallet works good. Staking nicely. Is it to soon to mention a community takeover on this coin?
What would it take for the dev to post something, anything? Been almost a month now

My wallet doesn't even synchronise anymore... I feel bad for investing 0.05BTC in this one  Sad

It's never to soon to suggest a community takeover Wink
1198  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can u get bitcoins? for free on: July 23, 2015, 01:04:50 PM
FREE BITCOIN

There's no free bitcoin . You have to earned it with effort even with a small effort.

Claiming @ faucet isn't giving you a free bitcoin because you will type a captcha. It counts as an effort.

The free method is someone will give btc to you. That's a free bitcoin.

I don't really count faucet myself.  I cannot see why people would put in hours of work for pennies... it does not compute.

One could argue signature campaigns are free.  I would do my post's with or without them.  I actually hit hero before I ever did one believe... I didn't do the math just avoided them.  But glad I found them a little BTC for posting is always nice.

Well those faucet users are the one who doesn't have an idea on any method of growing their bitcoins. As soon as they continue to browse in this forum they will eventually see other method and little by little they will minimize their time in fauceting. Like me , I used to play faucets until now but not that active anymore because I found some method to get "free" bitcoins.

I would agree on the not knowing. They do it for X days and think they have a bit of coins then do math and see it's cent's.

Most just did not know they were wasting their time. The ones that still do faucets and realize how little it is I cannot figure out.

Depends on luck. I got 20$ last week from freebitco.in.

freebitco.in and freedoge.co.in are the only two i still use, even tough they are a waste of time, but its mostly nostalgia. They have a clean interface and a reasonable chance of winning some actual satoshi's/doge's...
1199  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dell Customer Service: "Bitcoin - is that some sort of wire transfer?" on: July 23, 2015, 12:43:48 PM
There was a similar post on this forum a while ago from somebody buying airplane tickets with BTC, and also got in a lot of troubles... If my memory serves me correct, his payment was declined but not refunded.

Why a company like dell starts accepting a payment method BEFORE they train their support staff is beyond me, but it does not supprise me at all.
