461  Economy / Services / Re: Winz.io Casino $6,400 Cheetah Mascot Art Competition [Deadline: the 1st of May] on: April 30, 2022, 10:49:16 AM
Hey !

1. So at first I roamed around the internet looking for body builder vector art (free) so that I can get an idea of how it would look and then came up with a basic sketch.

2. After that the art was uploaded to ibis paint and then I outlined and did the work, this might be the first time that I ever used so many layers and it was all done from scratch.

( I also have a video of this if needed)

Also am in UK right now therefore I cannot access the site and the VPN is blocked as well therefore if I remember my username might be : @fiulpro on that site.

462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: April 29, 2022, 06:16:32 PM
I was spending some time with my friends parents and there was not only a huge party but all of them placed p2p bets on the horse racing. They asked me to come over as well, the ending was deeply sad and essential to cover : The horse died after winning of a heart attack.

The horse was presenting signs of heart attack on the camera but no one was actually even giving it a second thought and at the end when it was the last lap, all the horses got whipped excessively hard as well. That gets me to my point "why do you support horse racing?" This is honestly far to cruel to continue.

According the this site: https://www.horsedeathwatch.com/background.php they have seen more than 2000 deaths in around 5500 days. Most of the horses die during the match as well, they also have instances where they are exploited using drugs (doping).

Are you aware that most of the horses go through slaughter as well? Some of them have very bad injuries making them not even the least bit useful for the business therefore they are killed without second thought. I do hope people would get more aware and try and steer away from *horse racing*.

This is a very ancient sport/game. It is not going to get banned. Probably never. Lots of football players die of heart attack every year. They run like horses too. The are many similarities between a horse race and a soccer game. Just because footballers die sometimes, do we need to ban football/soccer? This logic don't make any sense to me.

-It is not just the problem of them dying of a heart attack, it's also :

•How they are treated
•How they are beaten up on the tracks, whipped
•How they are slaughtered once they are not useful
•How some of them are denied even basic health care because it's cheaper to replace them
A LOT MORE

Humans choose to, footballers choose their sports, they choose to be there. I do not think that anyone should even need a reason to stop animal cruelty. Plus gambling fuels this majorly. Horse betting is so popular especially in England.

Even humans do have heart attack. Horses are not giving medical care like humans.

You want horse race to be banned? Then you should want human 100 meter, others short distance and marathon races to be banned too.

If you want it to be banned, I mean hourse race, you want many other races to be banned, such as dog race. If you want that, you need to have political power. Even if you have political power, there are many chances that your proposal may not be accepted.

Again there is always the Choice that we Humans have, we also have the choice to make other people aware about things that they might ignore normally.

464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hit a new high amid price volatility on: April 29, 2022, 02:40:35 PM
For a second I thought I missed out the price of Bitcoins and the title is misleading for sure and I didn't expect the price to rise that fast and then I went to my wallet> checked the price and then continued reading the post. Well Hash Rate is extremely important it nor just about :
•Security
It also shows how well bitcoins is being adopted in the economy. If the whole network is healthy then in no time we would be able to achieve ATH in terms of the price. There are so many miners and at the same time even the government is now joining in as well.  For them. High hash rate could bring more rewards as well, if they have a powerful machine ofc. Apparently Intel Mining chips are proving to be extremely helpful as well. Also the news about Fort Worth might also influence other governments and companies as well.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia to ban Pokies on: April 29, 2022, 12:22:11 PM
More machines means less profits, reducing the number of machine will solve what the committee is saying? People will still roll and lose their money even with less machine but less convenience that's it.

This is just a business because they are allocating huge money so all these will go to the pockets and nothing else will be changed.
80% of the gambling machines apparently are located outside the casino as well. I do think this is a problem but they should work with :
•Relocation
•Helping people individually
If they do decide to ban I do not think how good that will work because:
•People will find elsewhere
•Those will be unregulated
•There will be a seperate dark market for it.
Therefore I do think that banning is not really a sure shot idea because that makes things even worse and sometimes it gets out of the hand. Plus this corruption you stated is definately a big deal. Again even though the country places 11th on the transparency list, we can never be so sure.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver resurfaces on Twitter, backs doge and bitcoin cash on: April 29, 2022, 11:08:17 AM
Wow!
How could any of this be related to the price of the DOGE which is pumping back and forth? An amazing opportunity for investors to jump-pump-dump. With Elon Musk the future head of Twitter who would definately try and manipulate people somehow and the whole cycle will repeat and the rich will get richer.
Have you seen the headlines where people are saying how he is "endorsing" Elon Musk. I do think this is just an indirect advertising. His key point is the usage of *custodial wallets*, if DOGE becomes that famous as well and the price jumps, people would still be forced by the government to use such wallets and at the same time it's not going to get off the hook, same fate awaits. It's just seems as an advertising campaign.
467  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most trusted casinos on BTalk on: April 29, 2022, 10:07:44 AM
Well I do think you can get help from the site here:
https://www.btcgosu.com/
•Now this is owned by a member of the community therefore you can get through it and will be able to get some view as well.
•Check the announcement thread, people generally leave their reviews there as well
•Check accusations as well
•Follow the ones who are running signature campaigns
•There are some campaigns like:
  Blackjack.fun
  Roobet.com
  Duelbits.com
  Stake.io
•All these casinos are trusted and you can definately start with these ones if you want it.
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celtics vs Bucks 2nd round Series. on: April 28, 2022, 05:16:22 PM
Betting odds :

Boston Celtics 1.54
Milwaukee Bucks 2.50

https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/basketball/usa/nba/nba-21-22-60f9572f41ddce1ac040cdfa

Choose your team and tell me why they should win.

I had bucks to win the whole thing from the time I knew the Lakers were out. With the surprising sweep of kd ki and the rest of the nets, the Celtics have put other teams on notice. Even so, I would of still thought bucks to win. The only thing that puts doubt in my mind now, is Kris Middleton looks in doubt for the duration of the second round. The bucks closer. Giannis is a winner and in my eyes, the second best talented player in the playoffs, after Steph, it will be interesting to see who will guard Gianni's, they most definitely will rotate a lot. I can see smart and Tatum taking him the most. Even though with the height disadvantage, they are crafty defenders. I think who ever wins will be the team that bounces back the best after the second. Celtics still feel like an underdog, but Giannis plays like he's trying to earn his rotation in the squad. I predict a 7 game series, with the bucks clinching it at home.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Proving He’s not Satoshi- AGAIN on: April 28, 2022, 04:06:08 PM
The funny part is people are still hung up on this man. When he tried actually proving that he is Satoshi and going to the court I did think it was all over, is this even a matter of discussion now ?

The guy is not only weird but he is also delusional, he needs to understand that people are not going to call his Satoshi no matter what, not even after 10 years. I think he is seriously taking the advice 'Fake it till you make it'

I have contributed 1 view for that video interview and I didn't pursue watching it and instead have read the comments. It's good to see that there are people who are aware that he's faketoshi. While the opposite of it, there really are people that feels amazed about the interview. Probably it's just the interview alone and not his claims about being the developer/owner of bitcoin.

Exactly, I do not see any information that I would be able to know from the video which I already didn't. He is just embarrassing himself now and he must at least admit to the public and come clean.

If he was Satoshi he would have sold those coins so fast and put them in some Altcoin making a whole hype. The reason people use  Bitcoins is because there is a level of trust, we might not know the inventor but at the end of the day he cannot have characteristics like Wright.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Australia to ban Pokies on: April 28, 2022, 03:30:25 PM
Australia have more gambling machines per person than anyone else in tbe whole world. Right now an interesting event is happening, there have been numerous calls now to remove all those machines from places like the PUBS and the CLUBS.

According to a news report, the slot machines are not just confined to any casino or any usual place, right now apparently in Australia there is no such law, the machines are everywhere an insight into what might be causing tbe leading probelms with increasing addiction there.

Let me take out the important content from the source here :
Quote
The party devised an eight-step plan to slowly eradicate slot machines from the pubs and clubs where gamblers can spend all day without stopping trying to win big.
The Greens hoped to introduce a $7billion transition package to phase pokies out of society.
'Pokies in pubs will be phased out over five years and pokies in clubs will be phased out over 10 years with a support package for clubs and communities,' the plan said.
Councils would also have the right to cap the number of machines set up in pubs in the area under the plan.
Advertising of gambling on public transport and in sport would also be scrapped under the Greens' initiative.
Their stance on the issue was echoed by former Deputy Leader of the NSW Science Party - now known as Fusion Party - James Jansson.

What the party is doing how in favor of it are you ? No doubt I support responsible gambling but at the same time, machines are not the problem, they might just be the surface of it. Why is there no medical support for people affected by gambling addiction in their plan? Do the parties fail to get some decent knowledge about how an addiction is a mental disorder and needs immediate attention. If they remove the machines they will find some other source to gamble on ofc.

Quote
The NSW Greens party has led calls to abolish the gambling machines altogether.

Now, is that fair ?
Abolish the machines altogether?
Why isn't regulation and monitoring not taken into account?
What do you think ?

471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fort Worth Becomes First City to Mine Bitcoin on: April 28, 2022, 02:39:32 PM
What are they planning about the green renewable energy sources ? Is there any integration that's going to happen ? At the end of the day if they are starting a business they might as well invest a bit more to make sure that these machines, running 24*7 does not damage the environment a lot.

Other than that they also have to think about expansion, if they are talking about job creation, it needs to begin at a much bigger scale. They also have to try and model it better to keep it away from the city perse, it's a project if you want to do it efficiently, you cannot just buy and start.

Now since the government got their hands in this business now, there is a slight chance that they might try and stop the small individual miners from taking over their business overtime, during expansion. Let's see what happens.
472  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mistake I made till now investing on crypto projects. on: April 27, 2022, 06:47:03 PM
At the same time you can see how effective their advertising is from the Altcoins campaigns as well there are many tokens which have been running successfully over the years as well and you can always differentiate between a token that's been in the market for long and the one which is already dying.
Some tokens also have the buy back option as well but for me that's like the team members already have a backup option and they don't trust their product enough therefore I do not like investing in those sector. For me investments are just bitcoins at the moment .
But right now with this much competition in the market I do not think that it's all safe waters as well. Most of the tokens are going to end up loosing all of their value therefore you can either take a chance or invest in the one's which are already successful.
473  Economy / Economics / Re: Privacy, control and trust. on: April 27, 2022, 06:25:16 PM
But can we have absolute decentralization??
There would always be manipulations from the side of Whales and people who are holding a lot there as well. The simple situation would be : how to make sure that does not happen as well ?!
-As we see there seem to the criteria of centralization being pushed into decentralized system ending up in converting the currency into a balance between two opposite economy.

I think it will be a dangerous idea without guaranteed and sustainable decentralization, community-control , privacy, good rules, and other good ideals that are necessary for safe and proper network with no central control. I think it's better to have traditional governments remain in control of their citizens than allow them move to networks that can be hijacked by moneybags and anarchists (via centralized mechanism like PoS or lawless decentralization) who are obsessed with collapsing the national authorities and taking over control of the world's billions of people.

What if the government itself collapsed?
What if the world ends up in a chaos and the economics of every single country is affected ? What about right now ? About the Pandemic? Regarding the war?

In cases like this traditional government does not work very well and we have to look for additional things to support ourselves as well. That's where a decentralized system comes in.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where does your country stand ? on: April 27, 2022, 05:44:28 PM
Ugh oh don’t let China see that you said Hong Kong is a country   Cheesy  These seem to all be relatively smaller populated countries. Kind of surprised to not see the United States on the list but I think soon we will. Like with marijuana legalization, gambling laws have massively eased up and continue to get more and more so. You can’t go to a gas station without seeing a couple video poker machines. Finally.
Well the situation with Hong Kong is massively political which does mean that even though it's allowed to function as a seperate part at the end of the day even though it can perform everything as a country by itself they are still part of China therefore most sites do not understand where they stand as well.
This article might be interesting for you : https://www.investopedia.com/articles/investing/121814/hong-kong-vs-china-understand-differences.asp
Then again I have no intentions of letting the Chinese government run after me for mentioning Hong Kong as a seperate county they themselves have made the laws governing Hong Kong super complicated. Then again !! It's interesting to see it on the list as well..

Statistically, the list of countries with the most bets might show countries like America, UK, and Australia. And I think it's an accepted fact, even countries where gambling is not considered good or likes to gamble.
and from some countries it is mentioned not the country where I live, because traditional or real gambling in the country where I live is strictly prohibited and if caught will be punished except online gambling.

That's quite harsh, my home country have the same laws as well but at the end of the day you can still find so many people just gambling on the corner with things like BlackJack in reality because they cannot send officers to arrest you everyday can they now.
That's why regulations are always better! Than banning it entirely!
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central African Republic; the first African country to adopt bitcoin as a legal on: April 27, 2022, 05:21:55 PM

Here is a map taken from the source : https://www.do4africa.org/en/cryptocurrency-adoption-in-africa/ The current situation in Africa is quite varied there are no clear demarcation between countries that might refuse to accept Bitcoins or some countries that might allow bitcoins entirely but this step taken is very beneficial since this is going to allow other countries to take step in the positive direction as well since at the end of the day even if they ban bitcoins they cannot just isolate it from the people. People will continue to use it as well.
Best choice would be regulation!! Rather than banning ofcourse.
476  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are a few of the best apps that you’ve used for sports betting? on: April 27, 2022, 04:05:01 PM
I do not find the necessity to use any android betting app since during the pandemic + war am not so sure that I want to make my betting habits so run around in the corner therefore if I have to place bets every once in a while I prefer to use a site. There are numerous sites on the forum itself that I am able to safely use. There are some sites that do work on VPN as well since not all of them would extend the support to UK. Therefore it's always a good idea to keep sites in back hand who are open to VPN as well so while travelling you can easily get your options sorted.
Seems like you are establishing an indirect announcement thread for the score app, I would recommend making it more professional. Rest best of luck ! I hope the app would be successful and free of scams also be careful about not adding too many ads too soon.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia suspends gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria for failing to pay in rouble on: April 27, 2022, 03:18:04 PM
Russia is trying on sneaky ways to get to the bottom of this and the worst thing is, if the country is underdeveloped or developing they are ofc going to listen to the demands of Russia which would mean that they would have to bear the criticism from the entire world after this but their government won't be able to balance out the inflation and the rising prices as well therefore for some of them there is absolutely no way out, they cannot pay in rubles and at the same time they cannot just cut Russia off just like that until and unless the supply is balanced and the green energy takes ages to come in the whole process and therefore it won't happen suddenly at all, they would have to wait years and this war cannot go on for that long.

There are pipes to be finished this summer and a gas from Turkey and Greece will flow to Bulgaria.
It  has been working effectively on these projects since 2019, luckily they could be finished this summer.

Now since the Russian gas will continue flow trough Bulgaria, the Russians have to pay for the transit. How this will be settled is not know yet. The Bulgarian PM is about to travel to Kiev to discuss the military aid, so I guess that's why everything is happening now.

They are trying to be offensive towards the countries supporting Ukraine in other ways an insight into why there are some countries off the list and being neutral. I do think they should already realize that their military is weak now and at the same time they cannot destroy their whole economy as well, they would starve internally now with the widows only getting over a 130$ this is not even ideal for them let alone the world.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Where does your country stand ? on: April 26, 2022, 06:49:55 PM
I was sitting and wondering which countries might have the highest gambling rates and for me I thought it could be UK or the US but despite this I went on the web to do a rescarch on which countries gamble the most. Let's have a look at this, since this information might be interesting to you guys as well !

1. Australia
2. Singapore ( they only opened their first casino in 2010!)
3. Ireland
4. Canada
5. Finland
6. Italy
7. Hong Kong
8. Norway
9. Greece
10. Spain !!

I was just as surprised as you guys since I did expect other countries to show up here as well instead of the ones that already did but you can recheck the same on the source : https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.worldatlas.com/amp/articles/countries-that-gamble-the-most.html
Other than that US , Canada,. Japan , UK are few of the countries known for their absolute support of the crypto casinos as well.
What about your country as well ??
479  Economy / Economics / Re: "I'm afraid that I don't hear a thing" ...Do you guys see any biz op ? on: April 26, 2022, 06:21:52 PM
I understand the situation and how hard it is for all the businesses but what else can one expect? We are in a time of pandemic and instead of going thr COVID-19 is evolving in new strains and not just this Russia is threatening to use nuclear weapons on the whole world and they are attacking the peaceful countries like Ukraine. What else can one expect?
The whole world is in a chaos and one have to understand that businesses are barely keeping up, so many restaurants and so many malls have been locked off because of the pandemic alone, regarding cryptocurrencies like: bitcoins, I think this is a market which will keep thr investors afloat at the end of the day, we must make sure to have second investments which are not related to the government because everything is going down. Integrated your business with things that are in tbe demand at the moment, the only way is to be volatile and to keep changing according to Public demands.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin And Human Capital Development. on: April 26, 2022, 05:46:26 PM
People might be aware for sure but at the same time the adoption is not really something that is over the edge right now. One must understand that bitcoins is an asset, an investment that means that whatever is being gained from there is being given to the government as well since the government usually have a lot of tax implemented on the cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins therefore this is directly going in their Treasury as well. There are things you can do yourself :
1. Increase the adoption of Bitcoins by personally telling about it to your friends and family
2. Spreading only the right knowledge
3. Making sure you don't answer to FUD's
4. Supporting it on social media platforms and informing people about it..
Information is stronger than anything, what we can do is put the right information in the market
