I wish to use a priority box instead of the priority envelop as the USPO cardboard priority envelops are not padded I think and don't show padded on the order page. So, I see 2 fit in a medium box but am unsure if 1 will fit in the small priority box or if you'd rather not pack it in a small priority box in which case I'll go with a medium. So....
Okay, I see now (this added with edit). When one finally gets to the package page they are more descriptive and I went with the padded envelop.

Miners in hand. (15 minutes later) They are hashing.

The spike was caused by Bitfury as others has said. KNC most likely will be using our pool information from our accounts when they test our units. Just monitor the forum for post from any of those Day 1 and 2 orders. They will be the first to see activity in their pools if KNC does this So, is the implication that KnC will burn-in our miners using our BTC payout address and preferred pool? That might work with Eligius given that no password is required but not Slush's. No, you can enter a worker name and worker password, but they don't currently have a free-form URL field You have to pick from one of the options they give you. Slush is on the list. However, I would not use slush if I were you, you don't get paid fully unless a block is found while you are hashing with them for at least 10-20 minutes, and you don't get anything unless a block is found within 20m of you stopping hashing (and almost nothing if it's more then 5m after) Go with a pool doing a PPLNS or PPS. Eligius will give you the most interesting stats, but you don't have control over payouts. A Czech buddy got screwed in family court. So, what the heck, going with Slush makes me feel better.

This was dealt with a month ago. You might want to go take a look before repeating something that is no longer true. No offense but are you replying to my post, that preceding? It wouldn't be any big thing if they weren't burning in our miners to our payout addresses and to be truthful I didn't start reading this thread at page 1. Edit: Hadn't seen the worker password box previously.

Late last night I realized I had misinterpreted the instructions change and failed to include a transaction id either online or in the tracking number email. That would have caused some difficulty given you've many transactions. My mistake.

well if they use a Raspberry Pi. then its open game.
Not what I said.

Then one would telnet in, like with Putty, or SSH in and again like with Putty.
Did they specify that they will give users shell access at all? All I've seen is that they will give users web access to configure cgminer running on the embedded system. Are they using the OrSOC OpenRISC development board for this? Unfortunately all the links with more details at the OrSOC website http://www.orsoc.se/?p=127 are broken and return 404 - File or directory not found. Can't answer the question. This was just a stab at explaining how it might be done to someone apparently with even less information than I.

haha he took it seriously
Although it's funny. In responding to the sarcastic answer, he answered his own question. Obviously he was able to do the research himself, he just lacked sufficient motivation at the time. BTW: Has everyone setup their mining addresses and/or worker IDs on the KnC website? Unlike Avalon, they are going to pre-configure and do the burn in test on customer addresses/pool accounts. Those hashes coming in will be the major signal that they're ready to start shipping. I have not yet. Can someone explain how ASIC miner devices' software are generally set up? So let's say I have bitcoin-qt running on my laptop. I have the miner power supply connected and hook the miner up to my laptop via USB (or maybe my router via ethernet?) Then what? The miner is suppose to have its own operating system I believe so it would be like a Raspberry Pi as far as initial connections but maybe easier with a web interface and the RPi has a web interface as well. With a Raspberry Pi one would fire it up then look at one's router DHCP table and see what address is assigned. Then one would telnet in, like with Putty, or SSH in and again like with Putty. Then it depends on what mining software it will be running I suppose. Like Minepeon, one fires up the Raspberry Pi then tenets or ssh's in. Cgminer will already be running. One would then give the command sudo screen -r and the cgminer interface is displayed showing how it woke up and what devices have been found and are hashing and stats about that process. Since there won't be hotplugging more devices in, they may use bfgminer instead of cgminer or, like zTex, use some other mining software.

where is that usb port we were all hearing about?
eHHHH, not impressed... Thought they would come out with something new and exciting... its like the iphone 4 and iphone 4S but the S this time stands for SLOW lol
But I'll probably still buy a few
What's the advantage to having a USB port over ethernet? So you have to leave your PC on all the time too? I suppose one could use ethernet to set up a USB wifi then disconnect the cat5 thereby reducing, tho not eliminating, damage threat from lightening strikes.

Should be interesting if known miner device manufacturers stop shipping and the hashrate rises anyway pointing to some unknown manufacturer's hashing devices hitting the network.
Dude, ALL legit manufacturers devices will be hitting the network (with the probable exception of BFL). Also are looking to stop shipping in December, January and February to protect the network for our customers,

Have KNC revealed how their miners connect to the internet yet? I think someone suggested it would be an ethernet connection, not wifi?
If it were an ethernet connection, how could you set up a backup?
Say you have a wifi router. And you want to set up a usb dongle as backup in case the router goes down. Is that possible to set this up via an ethernet cable?
Ethernet & USB Good, a USB Wifi dongle should work.

What do you recommend printing for the return or "ship from" address when generating a shipping label?
I put my own name up top, then CanaryInTheMine on the company line along with Canary's PO Box number and zip. If attempted to return the item to the return address when the original zip code on the postal stamp isn't that, like putting your own in return and to, then the post office would be cheating itself from all the kids that figure out to mail for free is to put the destination as the return then not put a stamp.

I will proportion out some colors for you unless you want same color? I would rather the colors be luck of the draw and have the seals on the white cardboard boxes intact. The 10 count cases have a sticker at the end that tells him what color the BE's are. He isn't cracking the seals on the boxes Thank you. Has that always been the case? If so it kind of blows holes in the excuse that the seals were broken to check the color as explained by a reseller who claimed all seals were broken for that reason.

Thanks philipma1957 for your input. Others have been maxing out these hubs with out a problem and a person can just solder the power wires direct to the hubs to help lower the cost instead of buying the barrel plugs. The PSU can be had cheaper but I bought this one due to the internal fan that it came with. I have 13 more USB miners coming next week and will see what happens. I may very well stop at 60 on this PSU as you suggested. Glad to see the BE's are said to be drawing less than 500ma each. Many cheap USB 2.0 hubs were driving the ports directly from the USB 2.0 chips like the FET15. I believe the USB 2.0 spec is 480ma max. Supplies burning up are one thing but the USB chips going bad are another. Some better hubs use the USB 2.0 controller chips to drive other chips that buffer the ports.
