1601  Other / Meta / Re: How to cope in this forum on: May 03, 2023, 11:42:57 AM
That,s is the easiest way to get merit.

Okay, I got some merit, what's next? Did I start to understand something better because of this? Did this open up any secret sections of the forum with innermost knowledge for me? As far as I know, no. Frankly, it's nice when someone likes your posts, and someone positively marks them, but that's not the goal, is it? We get knowledge and we share it, better or worse we do it, but this is the main thing. Or am I not understanding something well enough? Merits and signatures are just a nice addition, aren't they?

This should be the one OP write on how "to cope" with the forum, by seeing it as a place to discuss things and get knowledge, and treating merits and signatures as a nice addition. But sadly, a lot of members --I think OP included-- see the forum and signature as main source of income. That's why merits and ranks are important factors as it means bigger paycheck from campaigns. Ironically, I think this is one of the reason why merit system is being introduced to the forum on the first place, to deter people making pointless posts for the sake of ranking up and/or get paid

Curiosity gets the best of me, why do you have to delete your handler? Yes, it's been made publicly known by bounty spreadsheet and all, and changing to new handler would fix that... temporarily, as your new handler would sooner or later also be made public. Wouldn't it be easier to click the ignore and report button?

When I am in the mood, I toyed with those scammers, but mostly I just hit the report button.

When you click the "reset password" button, the message above the screen popped up and didn't redirect you to a password resetting request page?

Have you tried telling your friend to ask for reversal from his side?
1 It doesn't work to reset passowrd
2 My friend is afraid of losing his account too

From where I stand, your friend is just delaying the inevitable. With the casino's reviews and reputation, I think it is safe to assume that at one point, sooner or later, he'll get his account locked too, so it might be on his best interest to start considering another gambling platform.

He can withdraw all of his funds first before attempting to request for reversal... assuming his withdrawal got approved and didn't ends up like yours. That way, he'll minimize the risk of losing more money. If the request got approved, then it's good for you both. If it didn't, then I am sorry I have to say that the best he can do is consider it as a lose bet. At this point, there's nothing you can do from your side, I don't see a validator seal on bit555's site, so you can't try to reach their licensor to file a complaint either.

If I may add, another proof that your suspicion is well founded, the site is also down with error 403, with the last activity on the project's TG announcing they're being paused indefinitely.

"Coincidentally", or... miraculously, the BM also edit/delete their posts on the same day as this announcement, down to the minute [my TG on this device is set to match forum time].

If we are to go by this information then it seems there's more to it. Likely a scam  and has been deserted by admin on telegram and bounty manager. How come they were able to gather such number of bounty Hunters to help them promote their scam project with large number of audience.
The bounty manager seems to be a newbie account that is not well established in the platform and the bounty hunters could not see that and we're quick to participate in the project campaign, promoting a Scam project properly planned with possibly ill intentions to undo the unsuspecting investors of their hard earned cash.

Next time, it'll be very helpful for other readers if you can snip the images on the quoted post, just a little suggestion.

Call me paranoid, but I suspect there's something more to this than what we currently have at hand. The BM did an effort and bothered to "wipe" his entire posts about the project --most likely not knowing all posts here are automatically archived-- if the account was meant to be a disposable account, he won't bother doing so. I think there is a possibility that he'll resurface another time with different projects. Different names, same strategy.

I don't think I am going to leave a tag just yet because I am well aware that the theory is rather far fetched, though I think the tag is well justified for this case. Instead, this thread will serve as a nice reminder for me in case the BM resurfaced.

Try to reset the password and then log in into your account. As holydarkness pointed out, you haven't entered the correct verification code.
How good of a friend is that online friend of yours? Some people are too fast to call strangers friends.

Let me give you an example of how such a scam could potentially work if your friend is part of the group of scammers.

1. Your "friend" gives you a tip.
2. He then asks you to give it back for whatever reason.
3. In the meantime, the casino blocks your account and doesn't allow you to send the money back.
4. Your friend pressures you to give him his money because he needs it.
5. Since you can't send back the tip, he might suggest you pay him from your personal wallet.
6. Eventually you give in and send him the $150 you owe him.
7. Your friend and the casino just made $150 from you.

That is what I initially thought, few years ago someone tried to scam me with an almost similar method, a stranger contacting me because he knew me from one TG group, asked my help to withdraw from a website and he'll pay me some percentage for the trouble. I knew right away he's a scammer but decided to see how far he'll go, so I made a disposable email, created an account with it, and he transferred the fund to my account through the tipping feature on the site so I can WD it for us. The catch was, in order to WD from that account, I had to deposit some amount of ETH.

Long story short, I toyed with him a little until he met his boiling point and stopped the chat. Pretty much sure the website was his because he asked me to transfer the fund back to his account and when I said I've did it, he knew I hadn't because he still can see the amount on my account.

What differentiate mine from OP's is that I need to deposit in order to WD while OP got his WD feature blocked.

This is why I bombarded him with questions yesterday. In the end, I decided to gave OP benefit of doubts and believing that his story is real and his friend is also a real close friend. [There are several other possible scenarios on my mind, but let's just table it] For this situation, best they can do is what I said on my previous post, for his friend to contact the platform and ask for reversal himself.

I'd really appreciate if OP can sbow us the screenshot of the error message saying his account is blocked, though.

They are not even reacheble by email.

That was pretty much established. They have nothing to lose here on the forum as they're already been tagged since 2022 and couldn't care less about it, their last activity on this forum was also last year, which means there's a very slim chance they're aware of this thread. Their ratings on other platforms are also low and they couldn't bother about it. Bottom line, your hands are rather tied on this situation, I think best you can hope is for your friend to jump in and ask for reversal from his side, since his account is still working.
1608  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bit555.io Scam on: May 01, 2023, 09:01:05 AM

As your account is blocked for withdrawal and the fund itself is not being confiscated, and his account is working perfectly, and he asked the tips back, can't you just send the fund back through the very same feature of tipping?

They locked me out ofaccount I can't even login!

https://ibb.co/qNNJ7qq

I don't see the message informing you that the account is blocked on the attached screenshot, only that you haven't typed the captcha code. I also wondwred, as you don't have an access to your account, how did this photo taken? Did you still got an access at that point?

Another idea I proposed, since your friend's account is not blocked, and given that their live support won't reply you, is it possible for your friend to ask the transfer to be canceled from his side? As the tip happened internally within the platform's system, I think it's quite possible that the amount displayed as your "fund" is just a number on screen. There's no real transaction on the blockchain happened until after someone do a withdrawal request. Thus, it's quite easy for them to "reverse" the transfer as they only need to adjust those recorded exchanges between account.
1609  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bit555.io Scam on: April 30, 2023, 07:44:13 PM
It's not like this they were sending tips even before his account is fine no block whatever. He was winning that's why he tipped me and after he lost he change his mind.

Maybe we're lost in translation and the long sentences without comma. Let's start from the beginning, please answer me with simple yes or no for each questions:

1. Were your account newly created just for the sake of receiving the tip?
2. This friend who tipped you, is a close friend and not a stranger on DM?
3. Was the tip sent by your friend is the first one he sent through the platform?
4. Up to the time this discussion happened, your friend's account is fine and working, only your account that is blocked for withdrawal?

For point number 5, it is not a yes/no question, but please help me understand by keep the answer simple,

5. The tip your friend give to you, is it through a deposit to your account or through a tipping/transfer/p2p feature on the site?

1. No
2. Is a an online friend
3. No
4. Yes
5. Tip on the site feature

This answers can solve my problem?

I fixed your post format so people can understand them better.

Point number 1-4 is just so I can understand the situation better and didn't misunderstand what actually happened. Point number 5 is to figure out a way to solve the problem.

As your account is blocked for withdrawal and the fund itself is not being confiscated, and his account is working perfectly, and he asked the tips back, can't you just send the fund back through the very same feature of tipping?

  • Predicting market trends and identifying potential price movements based on sentiment analysis of the forum's discussions
  • Detecting and filtering out spam and fraudulent activity on the forum
  • Providing personalized recommendations and content to users based on their activity and interests
  • Generating insights and reports for traders, investors, and other cryptocurrency enthusiasts
1. When theymos and/or a lot of community member doesn't support implementing an option to visualize Bitcoin price on any corner of the forum, do you think theymos will ever consider implementing this? I really doubt it. theymos would never take the risk of predicting price movements and then get blamed lol. I don't see a reason why the forum would implement that.
However, as a user, you or anyone else can offer such a service through the help of AI and I'm sure that would be appreciated by a lot of community members including me.
[...]

I'd like to add something on point number 1, which already very well said.

Wouldn't employing an AI to analyze and predict market movement based on forum's discussion mean it'll be more easy to create a hype or PnD? All a trash project need is creating a fake buzz by having a bounty asking the participants to create an enthusiastic post on the forum? Yes, it is against forum's rule to incentivize post, but as they're already here to scam and rugpulling people, I am very much sure they won't mind breaking that forum's rule as well.

The AI won't be able to determine if the discussion is organic or artificial, and voila, the clueless members of this forum get scammed and the scammers get an easier way to run with people's money.
1612  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bit555.io Scam on: April 30, 2023, 06:52:16 PM
I don't think I understand correctly, your friend tipped you 150$ on this site, so you created an account in order for them to be able to tip you, the deposit entered your account, and later, they changed their mind about tipping and asked you to withdraw because they needed the money back?
something like this Sad

So you created an account on the casino --which already have a very bad rating-- just for the tip, and your friend's account itself on the site is completely fine and working, not banned or whatever? And they asked the money back right after sending it? In my custom it's considered as something rude, but I think that's to each of their own. One more thing, if you don't mind, how close you are with this friend and how frequent are they sending you a tip? Certainly they're not just a stranger DMing you saying they need to withdraw their fund from the site but got blocked for whatever reason and reached you to transfer the fund to your account so you can withdraw it for them for some charge that you can keep?

1615  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone's using my video as bounty entry without my permission or consent on: April 29, 2023, 10:26:47 PM

Since you have tagged him, there is no need removing it, but I want you to know that the final decision still falls bounty manager, he is the one in charge of the campaign, and as such it is his responsibility to look into issues like this, he is the one that will check and confirm of a truth, that the user in question entered the video bounty with your content, he is the one to nullify that user's entry and deny him payment, he is the one to decide whether to ban him from participating in future bounties, it is also his responsibility to report him to DT members so that they can tag him, with the tag from DT members, no other bounty manager will accept the user in to his or her campaign in the future,..

So in conclusion, what I am saying in essence is that, your tag has little to no effect on the user, until bounty manager and DT members step in.

Yes, it is a bounty manager's duty to take action against abuse like banning the user from their future bounty or reporting to reputation thread so a more severe action can be taken against the abuser, but it's every members's right --or should I say "duty"-- to report the same abuses of forum rules if they found it and leave a negative tag if they deemed it necessary, disregarding their DT status.

Since OP is directly involved on this case, as the victim, I think he has the full right to not trusting Apt2022 and express it in form of leaving the said feedback. I am failed to see the logic behind, "it is not up to you to tag him with a negative trust." Sorry if I sound rude and consider this an apology in advance if that that what you need to help you swallow the pill, but I simply dumbfounded by that statement.

I am not sure how copyrights works on YouTube, whether the owner of the content has the full rights or they automatically relinguish the right and it is then reserved to youtube, but I am somewhat sure whichever rules applied for ownership of a content on that platform, taking someone's work and claimed it as yours still considered as stealing, and as such, not to be trusted. I am leaving negative tag as well.

OP, if you want to, you can change the thread title from "someone" to "Apt2022" so anyone taking a glance at topic list on this board would get a better understanding of the situation. Second, though I am not sure how he can get out of this situation, I also advised you to at least invite Apt2022 to this thread by PMing him, so he can defend himself or give his side of story. It's an ethical thing to do.

I invested with them a small amount of 30 USDT and made 3% when the investment cycle was over.
I did withdraw all my money without issues. Maybe I did not get scammed because it was a small amount

And you specifically created an account today just to made this testimonial? You must be feeling very grateful with this "small amount" of withdraw that you promoted them. But let's give you a benefit of doubts for a sec, just for the sake of future reference for anyone, that is how exactly a ponzi scheme works, the last person joined will be the one who lost everything.

But... but... but... how? How did you withdraw? The site has been down for weeks

Askgamblers only want to take money like affilate.

I have to beg to differ for this specific sentence. As far as I know, ADR like Casino Guru, Ask Gamblers, and the likes are doing it for free. They're not paid by referral link if anyone click on a casino through their website, or paid by a casino to resolve their disputes. I think I've read it somewhere on an FAQ page of an ADR, but probably not AG as I can't find it again there.

I'll say it's more to the arbitrator need to realize that ther are wider options to resolve disputes aside from the one they took on your case, than they're only wanting to take money from the casino. I'll have to say, the decision to ask both parties to submit the same documents probably doesn't cross everybody's mind. Thus, your information to AG might help them to improve their approach for future cases and, by that, also help future complainants to get their unjust cases resolved.
1618  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit hold funds and ignore in chat on: April 28, 2023, 05:53:45 PM
This is quite pathetic that a casino can't find 5 minutes for a video verification for a month. I think it's time for a reputed member to tag them and force a reply out of them.

I would prefer to give them some more time. They've been here for quite some time and has built their reputation quite well, I don't think they'll want to sacrifice those reputation for what's probably --for them-- infinitesimal amount of fund involved on this case. No offend intended for the OP by saying so, just for the sake of painting a better illustration.

There could be several possibilities like the case accidentally marked as solved after the first call, or the note to call back got lost on the stack of cases of the representative handling this case.

If OP feels like he want to raise a flag or leave a negative feedback to Rollbit, they're more than welcome to, but I myself will wait before supporting or opposing the flag and see if Razer will reply or do something after my PM.
1619  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit hold funds and ignore in chat on: April 28, 2023, 10:46:22 AM
They haven't been able to make a video call with me for a month. Is this already a scam or not yet?

Hi, though I previously said it is rather redundant if I send Razer another PM because he's been already aware of this case, I have to say one month of dragged case with no clear end is quite unfair for your side. As such, I am sending him another PM to reattend to this thread and/or rescheduling a video call.

I can't promise you anything, his last online activity was a week ago and probably will still not go back online for another days or weeks, but it worth to take the shot. Rollbit has made quite a reputation on the forum, I am inclined to think that they won't throw away those hard earned reputation for one or two cases.

Edit: PM sent

I think that it is site strategy, with fake reason block players and do not pay.
I do not have any reason to make fake document, if i have real passport.

I know that this case has been solved and did not necessarily need further "resolution", but I'd really love if we can tie all loose end and straigthen every sides. Have you or can you tried getting back in touch with AskGamblers? Their verdict here is no longer correct and now actually rather misleading as the verdict has a tendency to cast an impression that you cheated TD while the fact is the opposite

One other thing that I found funny, though, is how TD very quick to jump to announce the verdict by AG that they're the right side for your case a month ago, but never bothered to straigthen the fact once the different final and ultimate ruling is made by CG
