1601  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Combine Finance scam on: September 12, 2020, 11:22:28 PM
As I said in their thread, this is just a combination of few other projects and nothing else. As many others, they are just trying to use current DeFi hype in order to get few hundred ETH and then disappear.
I was surprised to see that no one has tagged nor flagged them.

I was trying to caught enough evidence to frame them, but LOL, they evades my questions and before I can push them for some answers, the flag has raised.

On their thread, they still deny this accusation tho, so I think I'll do another push until either they gave up or they showed the evidence needed.

They won't give up and will not show you any proof too. They will just insist that they are right as there only target is to get some money from the people's pocket. Flag's raised and now its people responsibility to keep away from it. If anyone still deal with them knowing the facts (flagged), then we cant do anything about such people.

Alarming news for South Africa Cricket. Their Olympic body taking over CSA under its control and firing existing cricket board, technically government taking over. Implication? According to ICC constitution Cricket board should work as autonomously body and no government interference is allowed, if not then it could lead to ban from the International Cricket. More or less similar thing happened with the Zimbabwe cricket too.

South African Olympic body removes CSA board; takes control of cricket

Zimbabwe received a raw deal from the ICC, as they got suspended and were barred from receiving funds. Do the ICC have courage to do the same with South Africa? Especially at a time when the chairman election is due? These suspensions work only against smaller boards who have small number of supporters and not against larger boards such as South Africa.

I am sure ICC will not do this blunder. If they do, this will not be a popular decision. We already have few cricket playing nations and if they started banning them, the number will further decline. I hope South Africa wont face similar restrictions like Zimbabwe.

All the questions are great I've answered all of it except the part that is asking my email address, it's an option to subscribe to whatever you are going to send to my email, I always prefer to subscribe or enter my email to a site that I have complete trust and besides you don't need our email for this survey, you might even get tagged for creating tools to harvest emails.

I also did the quiz but put a dummy email when it asks for my email address. I don't care if I don't receive any useful information because of this but i do not like to reveal my real email to any unknown survey / sites. The email can be used for marketing or hacking purpose, we never know the intentions.

A Bustabit user named “WangTang_V2” just made a MASSIVE 109 BTC bet (~$11,300,000 USD) with a successful cashout at 1.02x. The win paid the user 2.18 BTC (~$22,600 USD).

Tweet: https://twitter.com/gmblngsitefindr/status/1304646769096232961

Game Result: https://www.bustabit.com/game/3677040

This is the largest bet ever placed on BaB, correct?  Shocked

I would like to know whether he was able to successfully cash out those winning amount out of Bustabit ?

This win is just amazing and show how one can change his or her fortune from gambling.
1605  Other / Archival / Re: Phishing Scams With Electrum Wallet Users. Again on: September 12, 2020, 01:15:20 PM
Are we going to write a new article every time someone falls for it? As is standard for CoinTelegraph (or any other crypto "news" site), this is poorly not-at-all researched clickbait trash. Next up from CoinTelegraph, a brand new scam involving a Nigerian Prince! Roll Eyes

What's wrong with that? Large wallet thefts do not happen every day.

For example, in the Scam Accusations section, there are thousands of cases of the same Ponzi scheme offering unrealistic interest rates on deposits. The scheme in each case is the same, only the wrapper in the form of the name of the office is different. Nevertheless, all Ponzi cases are covered, even the one-day Ponzi.

And here the same phishing attack is described, only in the second case the address on Binance also appeared.

There is no harm is telling about each and every scam we come across. It will just increase the awareness and if people are saved from it, the purpose is fulfilled. Sometime people forget and repeat the same mistakes, if they see these posts often they will not fall victim of these scams and remain more vigilant.

As I said in their thread, this is just a combination of few other projects and nothing else. As many others, they are just trying to use current DeFi hype in order to get few hundred ETH and then disappear.

I "like" the reasoning behind decision to stay anonymous, like they are some threat to the government so they gotta hide their identity. In one hand they are right, since they are scammers they are a threat Cheesy.

Flag supported and user tagged!

There will be many more projects which will popup and use the DeFi hype to get money from the innocent investors. I wonder why people are so ignorant and they fall for these scams. Don't invest in every Defi / Cefi projects or you will end up losing your money.
1607  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find Fake Giveaways or scam airdrops on Twitter? on: September 10, 2020, 10:43:50 PM
Some the research even don't give us the idea if the airdrop coins are real or scam. Since the coins are not on exchange we cannot really tell the future of the coins.
The only thing good about the airdropped coins is they are free and we do not have to spend money to get them.
yes airdrop is free and there is no need to spend money to be able to follow it, only time and effort is needed to do some of the tasks given.

Several studies were conducted to prevent losses due to the airdrop. It's quite important to do this, if the research doesn't provide a picture I think you should go into more detail.

Currently choosing airdrop and bounty must be more specific and must be more detailed. lots of scam projects that hurt a lot of people.

People get hurt from these scam bounties in the form of spending their time in this activity. There is less monetary scam as those fake companies do not take direct money from those who work for their bounty. Therefore people who have extra time should go for the bounty hunting because in most cases it will be useless tp spend time on it.
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 10, 2020, 10:20:28 PM
~snip~

How do they select the the chairman of ICC ? Doesn't all the boards have have a say in selecting the chairperson of ICC ?

There should be a mechanism of voting among all the cricket boards so that no one can influence on the decision of selecting the chairman of ICC.
As far as i know its goes something like that, i might be missing the details tho..

-Each member of ICC board ( they are called directors) nominates the candidates. Board is made up with 12 Full members+ 3 Associate members.
-The ones who gets the majority of votes (minimum 2) from the Full members goes into election process.

If they have such a organized process in place for the selection of chairman for ICC, why some people complain that incompetent people are selected on this seat or politics is involved in selection. Aren't this process transparent ?

BCCI is Gold Mine for Indian Politicians still many involve in through relatives or byself so its not going to stopped in near future because there is no law for this and ICC also have no law that they can prevent any one to become ICC President this need some good deep roots or persons like Ganguly because just with this we can stop corruption and corrupt peoples.

There are powers and factors which influence the decisions and nothing is transparent as it seems to be. Politics is involved everywhere and also in cricket. You can check who are the last few chairman selected for ICC and can understand whom is influencing the decisions.
1609  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: September 06, 2020, 09:41:40 AM
if your active on bustabit last couple weeks you will know what I’m talking about. But for those that don’t know I know personally 3 players who have lost 1 coin+ from this scam the highest being 2coins, I personally lost 0.4 coins through this scam. The player will tag you on the bustabit chat telling you to add them and to check your pms, then offer you an investment into you BR and compliment your strat etc. He would offer the investment on a 2 : 1 basis meaning he promised an investment of 0.8 coins if I invested 0.4 coins. He would then ask you to come on a external messenger app such as telegram discord or Skype to come and screen share your screen. And while creating a new  account victims screens are available to the scammer. He will then ask us to deposit first, obviously the first thing to do is to change password incase of a scam but this scammer would have already changed the recovery email meaning changing the password would not stop the scam. So once the bits have been deposited he will lock you out and bet with your bits then withdraw the money. Someone has claimed that he boasted to them that he has made 90 btc in total from this scam.

1 coins means 1 bitcoin ? Also if a player chats with you and offer you some investments then why do you deal with him if they are not the mods or admin of the site ?  Look like you become victim of some scammer as I understand this.
You sharing your screen through third party person but accusing bustabit for this scam. Why ?
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 06, 2020, 09:00:12 AM
Ehsan Mani: 'Healthier' to not have next ICC chairman from 'Big Three'. At least someone is able to speak publicly about this.
Common Bangladesh, South Africa , NZ, WI , Srilanka lets protest against  Big 3 manipulations.

Why this all of a sudden? Currently Colin Graves (of the England and Wales Cricket Board) is being considered as the frontrunner to succeed Shashank Manohar, and I believe Mani has some personal grudge against him. What the ICC needs right now is someone who is qualified for the job, and not someone who is selected solely on the basis of "smaller nations" quota.
We have seen how India wants to influence the ICC . And in many cases they are successful . For example ,this time the ICC t20 world cup was not held but the IPL is will be held  . Many people believe that India had a role to play in not holding the world cup this year. They didn't want the world cup to be held  because it would have made the IPL uncertain. For this type of reason we need someone who is qualified for this post and  no one/country can influence him . If he is impartial then it does not matter that where is he from .

This is past now. We will have IPL and no T20 WC this year. Its fair enough because it wont be practical to gather all the teams in one venue when pandemic is not over yet, however I understand other reasons for this.

BCCI may choose to leave ICC and setup another international cricket body and definitely many nations would follow BCCI if not all. This would technically make ICC useless. So if BCCI can do this it's pretty obvious that ICC will be influenced by them.

There are already few teams who play international cricket , around 10 - 12 and we can't afford two separate boards to manage only these 12 teams.
ICC knows this and I hope BCCI won't ever take such a bad decision.

Provided evidence is related to ETH address where all the token has been sent into the same address. Who knows if you made this thread to avoid ban evasion?
It can never be a proof of alt account, there are cases where everyone have seen all of such txs as COMMERCIAL tx. Anyway, I have played role as escrow holder in couple of BOUNTY token trades in the last couple of months even. There are people who purchase bounty token with low rate to have some profit. So, only ETH address connection can never be a proof of alt.

Just out of topic, do you know anyone who is willing to buy bounty tokens ?
There are few tokens which I have collected over the years but they never hit the exchanges. Perhaps I can dispose them off for cheap.
1612  Economy / Gambling / Re: BADCOGAMING.COM - Best Erotic Casinos on: September 06, 2020, 07:56:28 AM
What's the need for such a concept, maybe this too is an interest from the people. At the same time, it is all about distraction, when a gambler play in such an atmosphere. The concentration deviation from the common gambler will benefit the gambling house. This isn't from anyone's guess, this truly happens.

Yes, house edge + distraction = win-win for these erotic casinos.

I haven't tried it though, but I'm sure majority of gamblers here are going to be distracted and will probably make them to lose more. Very dangerous deal for us, but there could be patrons who are willing to try this uncommon gambling sites, but not for me though.
I also wanted to point out something similar. This sort of casino is not for everyone, and I think it would be useful only to a certain bunch of people. First of all, female straight gamblers are very unlikely to be interested in this. Then come gay men as well as all men who are not into this for various reasons (due to religious concerns, a strong relationship with loved ones, just not enjoying it, considering it an objectification of women etc.). So there are various categories of people that don't want to see these girls while playing. And then there are those who do, but these people are very likely to get distracted all the time, and clearly, this will not help to win the game. Those who don't get distracted won't want it, and those who want it will get distracted is where I'm leading with this. So the only category of gamblers who'd benefit from this is predominantly straight males for whom gambling is merely a form of entertainment (so they're not trying to win, earn etc, they are just enjoying their time). And all this is being said regarding the concept, but given that it's in the thread about particular casinos, it should be pointed out that the negative reviews pointed out by some users are especially worrisome.

If you ask me erotic casino will only distract your attraction and you will not be able to focus on game. I do not like this idea of sexy girls being the dealers and I believe some sites use these girls to scam the players too.

Ehsan Mani: 'Healthier' to not have next ICC chairman from 'Big Three'. At least someone is able to speak publicly about this.

Common Bangladesh, South Africa , NZ, WI , Srilanka lets protest against  Big 3 manipulations.

You won't find much support for your protest in this forum because majority of the people belong to India on this board and few of them from England too.

Wouldn't it better if he could name a person whom should be the next chairman of ICC or he is aiming himself for the seat  Cool
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Downfall of dia data (DeFi) on: September 06, 2020, 06:53:36 AM
Don't know what is happening at this moment. Most of defi project lost their value incredibly. Especially for dia data, the recently successful defi token, launched IEO a months ago. Then it was start increasing incredibly, ATH around at $5.13  Sep 02, 2020 (3 days ago) but its only $2.09 today Sep 05, 2020. Just decrease more than half of its value within 48hours when it added binance exchange mainwhile
This is normal because not only DIA has experienced a decline, look at DIA's competitors such as Chainlink and BAND, all of whom have experienced a big decline, but I am sure that DIA's price will rise again in the near future, this is the right time to buy it and hold it for the next few weeks

Since bitcoin is on a decline its normal for all the altcoins to dump too and it includes the Defi projects too. Defi projects and coins have a lot of short term scope and this is the time to buy cheap defi coins. They will soon be back to their original prices once the market recovers.

Have you removed all the copied text from btcgosu and why did not you reply to the last post by efialtis as the owner of btcgosu?

I think he will not remove the copied text from btcgosu until he is legally bound to do so. We know that the text is copied but many people who do not visit bitcointalk and go directly to CryptoVegas.xyz may think it is the site own content.

Mr.Spammer plz  tell us how many he lost before this bet ?
It is gambling site and almost all the user (maximum user) loss  their fund on gambling. Only few people can make profit from gambling. And finally site should be benefited. They are running to make profit from these betting. So, it is not wise thing to ask losses of someone or winnings of someone.

No individual gambler or site will tell you how much people loss on a gambling site and it is not ethical to ask this question. Everyone knows that people lose in gambling too and win also. The business will only show you big wins to encourage more people to gamble on their site.
You can trust primedice blindly because they are running their business for many years.
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 05, 2020, 07:11:48 PM
^^^ They are giving 10/11 odds for England (1.90) and 11/10 odds for Australia (2.10). So the gambling sites are slightly favoring England for the remaining matches. I would say that the odds look very attractive for Australia. I would rather make a bet in favor of Australia for the remaining two matches. Even if they win one of these matches, I will end up in profit.

These odds are only for the next match and they changes every minute once the match is in progress. Since England won the last match, the England is considered favorites by the bookies. This can change soon if Australia bounce back in the next match. However, you can bet on Australia and hopefully you will win too.
1619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 05, 2020, 05:09:09 PM
But damn, looks like I missed out the entertainment as I went to sleep in the hopes that Aussies would win the match at ease.
After the first couple of wickets Australia was struggling and England was able to put pressure and they were not able to connect the ball and i was wondering what they were doing in the last few overs as they were taking singles when they needed boundaries and it was evident that they were struggling because of the lack of match practice.
This is still very shocking win for England as Australia completely controling all things but they choke like Pakistan and give this victory to England for another enjoyment now we have second twenty/20 tomorrow hopefully we will have another entertaining match like first because right now we need this cricket just paisa wasul.

Looking at the odds for the tomorrow match, both teams stands at an equal chance of winning this match.
Should be a thriller.

1620  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Processing payments in Bitcoin on: September 05, 2020, 12:16:48 PM
If you currently run a service and process payments in Bitcoin what payment gateway are you using?

Alternatively, did you end up writing your own solution, if so, why?

You may use coinpayments or any other payment solutions but there is no need to develop your own solution. I mean you should focus on your services and sales which is the core where you get your revenue and let the payment be processes by third party applications.
