1442  Economy / Service Discussion / Gate.io is down on: December 05, 2020, 02:54:16 PM
I have funds at gate.io exchange and recently i can't access it. Is it down for maintenance or any other schedule downtime ?

Having exchange down without any reason is something to worry about.
1443  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Gambling Platform with Signature Campaigns in Forum on: December 05, 2020, 01:49:34 PM
There's also more here for easily checking.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1704638.0

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5079097.0

Some of the sites run by these popular managers are not active anymore, but listing it would be nice so we can see the number of gambling sites that have ran a signature campaign here.

Gambling signature campaigns are more in quantity as compare to the non-gambling campaigns. Although i mostly follow Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns to keep upto date on signature campaigns but this will be a good bookmark for those who are mostly interested in gambling campaigns only. I hope OP update this thread regularly.  Smiley
1444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 05, 2020, 01:20:12 PM
Anyone following the LPL ?  Dambulla Viiking scored a massive 207 runs in 20 overs and look like they will win this match against Galle Gladiators
easily.  110 runs partnership between the openers Tharanga and Dickwella was treat to watch.

I am watching this match but believe me this is not a one sided match as you told us. Even though  DV scored a giant score, the GG are playing well here and look like they will win it if they do not lose quick wickets. They have a perfect platform to accelerate now with 8 wickets still intact. Gladiators did not win any match in this series but this might be the turnaround for them.
1445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 05, 2020, 01:06:17 PM
The West Indies have a lot of talented players, But most of the players are like T20 specialists. They can not perform well as expected in Tests or ODIs. I think West Indies team management should select separate players for the Test squad. Then maybe we don't have to see such bad performances.

In that case they should refrain from playing test matches and concentrate on the shorter format. I could have still digested this, if West Indies is losing by such a huge margin against one of the big three teams. But New Zealand? Seriously? And what do we gain by watching such one-sided test matches? And why can't the West Indies play a few test matches against emerging teams such as Ireland and Nepal?
I have a question. Doesn't ICC organize cricket matches to entertain the spectators? Or do they organize matches to make money? If they have organized matches to entertain spectators like us, then why organize such one-sided Test series? Seeing all this, I feel very upset. And our time is wasted.

Tell me which organization work for the entertainment of the spectators ? Even big organizations like FIFA looks to make money so why not ICC should focus on money too. These are not social welfare organizations and therefore the main focus for them is to earn money.

But they have to give equal opportunity for the test playing nations and if one nation doesn't have a good test team, its the fault of that country and not ICC should be blamed for it.

1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of ETH2.0 Scammers on: December 04, 2020, 02:01:53 PM
Newbies beware and understand that everything thats seem too good to be the true in crypto investment is a scam.

The launch of ETH2.0 was a very good thing for the Ethereum holders however there are scammers who always try to take advantage of the situation and try to scam people.
One of my friend was recently contacted by such scammers and wanted to help in eth staking. Beware of all these scams attempts.

1451  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the biggest issue for beginners ? on: December 04, 2020, 12:10:54 PM
If anyone isn't so careful about security in Crypto then he will face the biggest issue because all of his funds can be hacked.
So I will suggest all beginners to be careful and secure your funds that you earned by hardworking.

Also people need to understand that some people will just scam in the name of help. Newbies should be careful with that. I know many people who want to invest money in bitcoin but since they do not know anything about bitcoins, they take help from people and those people rather then helping try to scam them.
1452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you verify every bet as a gambler? Provably Fair Guide. on: December 02, 2020, 08:36:53 PM
one of the most helpful thread i've read not only that but also the link on your personal text i even visited that, this is really helpful for the community and for the newbie user of the cryptocurrency.

I never cared if the casino is provably fair or not because i mostly play on trusted sites and i believe that they are provably fair ones. However OP has given a nice way to check the sites for its fairness.
Also i hope that they will include more sites in the gambling list in the future.
1453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 02, 2020, 08:29:39 PM
India won the match by 13 runs. The credit should go to Pandya and Jadeja. They scored a lot of runs during the final overs, to get India to 300 plus. When the 5th wicket fell, no one would have imagined that India would end up with a total of more than 250-260. Also, credit goes to Natarajan, for picking up two important wickets in his debut for the national team.
India could not have collected so much without the contribution of Pandya and Jadeja. After 30 overs, India lost 5 wickets, then the team went under pressure. They collected 302 runs in Jadeja and Pandya's formidable batting. The bowlers also did very well. India could not have won without their good performance.

If you analysis the match, Australia played bad game in the last 5 overs of the indian innings and also in the last five overs of their innings. They gave away too many runs in the last 5 overs to Indians. Also when they could have easily chased the target, they lost too many wickets in the last 5 overs. It was game of nerves and India team stood out in this match.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE on: November 29, 2020, 10:15:21 AM
If you wanna earn even though just a small amount why don't you try to join bounty campaign like signature or other social media campaigns, and not just relying on airdrop. There are still few campaigns that are genuine and paying to the bounty hunters. And if you are lucky enough to find real one, you can trade your token and grow it. this is what i'm doing right now, to be able to get some profit you just have to wait and be patient.

Both Airdrops and bounty campaign does not grantee that you will be getting the coins and if you get those coins, they would be of any worth. However, there are chances that while collecting them some projects are really worth and those can give you decent amount of profit. But you have to keep on working for the bounties and collect airdrops in the hope that you get something useful among the shit tokens.
1455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 29, 2020, 09:04:35 AM
Shikhar and Mayank was playing with confidence but ended up losing the wickets. I guess there’s zero chance left unless captain VK turns into Hardik Pandya now  Cheesy But that's unlikely to happen.

The issue is not with the Indian batsmen but the bowlers did not bowl well in both the matches. Bumrah, Shami and Saini giving away too many runs.
Perhaps they need to re-evaluate the pitches in Australia, if they want to win the matches here. It is unexpected disappointed performance by the Indian team.
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) Mixer on: November 28, 2020, 06:52:40 AM
The demand for ETH mixing is low compared to BTC mixing but you may try Bitcoin Mixer (https://bitcoinmix.org) with small deposits of ETH to confirm their reliability. Otherwise, you may send your ethereum to an exchange where KYC is not enforced for withdrawal. You may sell to other tokens and buy back ETH, back and forth, to get new ETH.

Whichever works for you, but be safe while avoiding surveillance.

Would not this will involve too much transactions fee and transfer fee to and from the exchanges  Huh
By the way is Bitcoin Mixer at https://bitcoinmix.org is reliable for the bitcoin mixing only  and not for the eth mixing ?
They offer mixing for three different cryptos which includes ethereum as well but literally they are new so we can't trust them with huge amount that is why people are telling other ways to cut down the traces.

I don't think Bitcoinmix.org can be trusted.  Bitcoinmix.org It's a scam I think
Based on many reviews, this site should be avoided otherwise you may lose your money while mixing your coins  Sad
1457  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I increase my Newbie rank? on: November 22, 2020, 09:48:28 AM

1458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Take Profits in BTC or USDT on: November 22, 2020, 07:14:30 AM
Is there a reason why majority of altcoins cannot be traded with usd or usdt like btc, litecoin etc?  Why don't exchanges allow these to be paired then you have usd or usdt?  Because if you want to earn money in usd or usdt... well you need to pay another fee to go from btc to usd/usdt.

Can someone explain why?  Like if you trade btc, eth or litecoin or chainlink or bitcoin cash etc... you can trade it with usd or usdt.  But why not majority of those altcoins?

There are more traders who prefer to trade in BTC pairs than in the USDT pairs. That's the reason you will find that only the most popular coins are paired with both USD and BTC and majority of the coins have only BTC pair, which is fine in my opinion.

As fas as OP concern, it depends on your buying position. If you bought in USD pair, you should continue your trade in USD and if you bought the altcoins with bitcoin, the ultimate goal should be to increase the satoshis.
1459  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinPlay.org – Bitcoin Gambling Directory on: November 22, 2020, 05:46:37 AM
I thought that it is a gambling site but rather a site that list gambling sites like cloudbet, bitstars since it's in the gambling board instead of gambling discussions. How about some answers to some questions from users if it's a paid review or not?. Having a gambling site kn that list thta have some issues is not a good start.

Bitcoinplay is a gambling review site and not a gambling site itself. As with many other gambling review sites, i do not agree with their top List Casinos. They have placed Monte Cryptos at number 2, CryptoThrills at number 3 and Bit Starz at number 4. Does anyone knows about these casino's ?
I never heard their names before.
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 22, 2020, 05:04:49 AM
@UmerIdrees yes he’s referring to the Big Bash League as it’s an popular T20 tournament, and he’s surprised that Pakistan player’s are opting to play in LPL and not BBL.

Also you’re right as Amir did perform well for Karachi Kings, but he was dropped as he had failed to pick wickets during Pakistan tour of England.

Lastly if he keeps performing well in domestic cricket, then I’m sure that he’ll find his way back in Pakistan’s Cricket team soon.

I can understand if players prefer LPL or other "smaller" leagues instead of BBL. There's no doubt that BBL is one of the most popular franchise T20 leagues out there. But they have some very ridiculous limitations, such as very low salary cap and a limit of just 2 overseas players per team.

BBL has increased the limit of international players from two to three recently which is encouraging for the overseas players and also it will create more interest in the matches.
