1481  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: November 15, 2020, 09:59:52 AM
I really love the site, but I would love if you can add a filter through which we can select events on base of their result timing. Like I have seen a bet which will show its result in 2024, while bets on US election expires on 2020. Would love to have bets sorted by their expiring time.

Yes this type of sorting will be very useful. Secondly, Futuur has good variety of bets on almost all of the events which are happening in the world related to politics, science, business & finance and entertainment also and it not only limited to sports betting. This is indeed a good place to make a bet on any of your favorite event.  Smiley

In your Poll, there is no option of "Never".

The third option in the poll "Mostly normal replies" means that you never use the Quick reply option but mostly prefer the normal replies.

I myself never used this quick reply option as i never need this feature. Normal reply is quicker enough for me.  Wink

What a match in PSL Multan vs Karachi . Match is tied and we are going to see super over, Looks like we are in super over season fitst in the IPL where we saw a lot of super over and now in PSL starts with Super over.
A good target of 13 runs by Kings against poor bowling of Sohail Tanvir now time for Sultans to give smooth reply or have their seat for second qualifier because I am feeling Kings done good for reaching in final.

Good to see the team of Dean jones reached the final of PSL T20. Although i do not have much interest in the match and i am following it on cricinfo but i wish that Karachi kings could win this T20 PSL 2020 for the late Dean Jones  Sad  If he was there, you could feel how much he would have been happy seeing his team reaching the final for the first time.

Although rates have been dropped, it's a great achievement to have 100 rounds, that means 100 weeks of payment without having any trouble.

Congratulations to lightlord and his campaign managers!

The current week is the 99th week so that new rates will be applicable in the 100th week and not in this week. Secondly the bitcoin rate has increased a lot and if we compare the USD value, there is not much change.
Also its a remarkable achievement for this campaign to run for consecutively 100 weeks and many more weeks and months still to come  Smiley

Although the tournament ended few days ago but it will always be remembered as this was played in the year 2020 without crowds because of pandemic.

1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 13, 2020, 11:34:55 AM
It seems that almost all gamblers have experienced losing money in sports betting, because indeed for sports betting requires luck to win.
So no matter how good your knowledge of sports is, it still cannot guarantee success in sports betting. Experience and knowledge in sports
betting only minimizes our loss, but it does not prevent us from avoiding losses. So no effective way has been found to avoid losing in sports
betting. Most importantly, the number of victories we have must be more than the number of defeats we experience. And if we have managed
to get profit from sports betting, stop immediately, if it continues will suffer defeat in the end.

Even though in sport betting many people and gamblers say that it is 75% skill and 25% luck that luck factor together with the referee who always impact a game a certain away determines how the game will end and that is why most of us lose money in sport betting.

I don't agree with this division of skill and luck in sports betting. The skill is sport betting includes how much you know about the teams and players and their strength and weakness. But even if you have complete knowledge about all these details, still you can lose the bet because not always the stronger teams wins.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 13, 2020, 11:17:44 AM
Perhaps the gambler from England who had bet as much as $5m have gone crazy. With the stakes not on target.
When a lot of big media support Donald Trump, he just believes, without analyzing and collecting data.
Because it turns out that the news is fictitious, and can’t prove Donald trump to win the presidential election right now.
But indeed, the country has a very high average salary, so for this gambler from England, $5m is not a big deal,
compared to the monthly salary he receives. Who knows?

Perhaps, that gambler addicted to gambling, and he doesn't realize that the money he used for betting was too big. Or he has a lot of money that he can use for gambling, so he will be okay if he losses that money. There are many opinions about him related to what he did in that gambling, but only he will know why. But for people who saw that amount, they will be amazing or shocked because the money was too big for them.

If he doesn't search for the data or does not analyze the data and only place the bet without valid data, he will lose in the gambling. That will also happen to us if we gamble without collecting data.

now I'm curious about this guys who made this bet after Biden successfully taken the seat.
I wonder if he's still gambling for some random politics sh*ts.
People can do crazy things when they have affection towards something especially when it has to do with gambling and this is the reason why online gambling added on their site a feature to help such people.
With that been said, if you check the date when the article was written you will see that the person in question stake his bet before Biden won the election.

Regardless of the win or loss of the bet on trump, betting with $5M is insane and very risky. This is clear that he must be a rich person who can afford such a big bet but i am not sure if he could bear this big loss. He would be considering himself very unlucky on this bet.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 13, 2020, 11:07:15 AM
The Macau gaming enterprise have reported that more than 60% of the Workers working in casinos have been Forced to take Unpaid leave.

The weird thing was : If the Worker have worked for too long the casinos takes them for granted and they are more likely to loose their payment.

Now 8% of them are thinking of switching to new jobs.

Now the steps taken  to tackle that :

Quote
Macau government could regulate the unpaid leave, measures could be implemented for an economic rebound, employees could be offered additional training, and the foreign employment quota should be adjusted to protect the local workers.

Macau continues to suffer the effects of the ongoing pandemic, despite some of the slight recoveries taking place in the industry.

At the same time we saw the boost in the gaming revenues:
Quote
Macau’s gross gaming revenue (GGR) dropped by 90% in September but rose by 229% month-on-month in October. The Individual Visit Scheme resumed mid-September and helped boost the economy in a small way, however, the country expects the tourist arrivals for 2020 to drop by 90%.

I think this is only because of the pandemic situation. If the casino is closed for many months, it is difficult to pay the salaries to the employee in time period where the business is stopped and no revenue is generated. This situation is very difficult for both the employees and the owner of the physical casino's.
Also finding a new job in this pandemic period is also very difficult as there are no new job opportunities in current times.
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 and its impact on gambling on: November 13, 2020, 10:13:40 AM
You could also check out what Biden's plans are regarding the legalization of online gambling, as now in many places / states in the states it is illegal to gamble online anywhere. That would be something if Biden wants to change that and I wonder if he gets a lot of support or a lot of counterparts.

Legalizing gambling is not a hard decision to make, the word "legal" gives them the control of the casinos, so we will likely to see more of casinos to be legalized, however, what I want to see is how Biden would react on casinos adding bitcoin as their payment options and crypto casinos operating in his country, it would be big if Biden has positive reaction to that.

I don't think if Biden will be thinking about legalizing gambling or bring reforms to the gambling industry. This is not the preference for sure at the present moment. Forming a government and managing / taking over other administrative tasks are more important for the president of the USA, then to think about the gambling industry.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 13, 2020, 08:49:50 AM
Even if i never knew this Indian boy my heart aches for his family and friends who are hurting because of his choice to take his own life.  To commit suicide is never the right thing to do and its so sad that nobody was able to help him.

A lot of things were needed to look as why this sad incident happened ?  Not everyone is able to commit suicide even in case of big losses. There must be some physiological  issues with him too and might be some family tensions which only he or his near & dear ones know about it.
A life of a person is more important than any amount of money being lost.

^^There are a great deal of places that realized that Biden win is a sure fire thing nowadays and even though there is a "doubt cloud" over the elections by the Trump campaign there is really nobody that takes it seriously, nobody that should care about it cares about it, as in courts in all levels, because they know it is a done deal, and sure on the news and from trump campaign you are hearing about these voter frauds and they are going to courts and will overturn some results but they are just claiming that for popularity sake and not really believe what they are doing, so at the end of the day it is just a stalling method for political gain and nothing more, even Trump campaign themselves know that there is no way they can win, they just do not want to say we lost and that is the only reason.

I totally understand if you want to wait, but it is 100% guaranteed nothing would happen if you pay now as well.

Well i think you should wait for few more days or couple of weeks to settle the bets. Although we know that Biden is the winner, but gambling site will not risk any amount by declaring Biden a winner, until it is officially announced.

Lets suppose if any how Trump is declared as a winner (although the chances are close to nil), those whom got the money already for biden win bet will never return and it is impossible for the site to pay everyone who either bet for trump and biden.
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 and its impact on gambling on: November 08, 2020, 10:00:12 AM
lots of people lose in these bets because they are rooting for trump, with big bets maybe they are just playing with money because they have lots, they don't know what to them with it, im thinking how much it the fee takin by different site with that big amount of money on the line, for sure its also thousands or millions of dollar,

Do someone has the data showing how much was put in this gambling on this election and how much people have won in total and lost in total. I Know it is impossible to find exact figures but still i would like to know how much approx. money was spent on the gambling for this election ?

No one can give the exact figures of how much amount was invested in gambling for the trump or biden win. Mostly gambling sites does not disclose this data and even if they disclose there are so many offline betting happening in every country which is impossible to track. Just came across a post where A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump. We can't even imagine how much people had bet on this biggest event.

Not at all you have to take it for the bad, you have to rescue that they are allowing you to withdraw the funds, and this defends them a lot, there have been sites where they go with the money no matter what.

Yes, the owner was already accused for scamming but still he has not run away with people money and is here to settle them their withdrawals. The only concern is that whether people have really been getting their deposits back. If anyone here on bitcointalk who have his money refunded can tell us about it.

Anyone expect Delhi Capitals to beat Sunrisers in the second eliminators? With SRH in such terrific form, it will be a mistake to bet against them (they have won 5 out of their last 6 matches). DC looks hopeless as of now. Their bowlers are clueless, despite Rabada and Nortje performing in such a terrific manner during the initial matches. And the less talked about the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer, that better.

The problem that I think with DC is their batting and SRH on the other hand have good bowlers. If SRH wins the toss and bowls first then they will win the match but if DC wins the toss and bowl first then it will be a close match. Looking at past performance the win probability of SRH is higher than DC. So, if you are betting on that match then place your bet on SRH.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is a good team but yesterday they took 19 overs to chase the small score of 131. They should have won that much with much ease but it went all the way to the last over. Seeing this, nothing can be said about todays match. Delhi Capitals play their first qualifiers with Mumbai Indians where they just outplayed them. Match with Sunrisers Hyderabad will be different one and i think both the teams have good chances today.
1498  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - US Election Madness 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: November 07, 2020, 06:54:40 AM
Is the site currently down?
I can't access or can't reach the site, or maybe there's a new policy? previously there was no problem.
You can try stake.games if the original domain doesn't work. The website works on my PC and I have checked on the other sources, it works:  https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/stake.com.html
Thanks it is working now, if I continue with the stake.games domain is it not a problem or will it be fine?
You are welcome, yes it is perfectly fine to use this alternative domain. This quoted announcement has been made on the official Stake telegram group:

Quote
Attention Indonesian Players

It seems some Indonesian ISP's have blocked access to Stake due to their political stance on gambling. You may access Stake via our official mirror, Stake.games.

Stake.com is blocked
Stake.games works

Because I am in a trustee who is subject to an Indonesian ISP, of course the ban will occur in its provisions so there are alternatives too and I just know about the new stake.games domain.
Because someone has said this has become an official announcement, I will use it and there is no need for a VPN anymore.

Why Stake.com is blocked and is it applies to only Indonesia or other countries can experience this too ?

However I am able to open both Stake.com and Stake.games , however Stake.games sometimes redirects to https://bc.game/home. Is this another domain for stake ?
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 and its impact on gambling on: November 07, 2020, 05:46:59 AM
I don't know what impact it has exactly, but you do see those elections on all gambling sites that you can bet on. Nice that that is possible nowadays. I just want to know how the probabilities are calculated, after all, there are a lot of factors.

These days almost all the betting and gambling sites allow you to bet on such big events. Most popular ones being stake and freebitco. You have to bet your money on either one to the two candidate and you will either win or lose based upon who win the election. It should have been straight forward win or lose but since the election results are unclear, people will have to wait few more days before they know who is the next president of USA.
If I am one of the citizens of America, I will choose Joe Biden for a new and fresh start in the US government because Trump has a bad reputation already and I think the USA citizens need a new president for a new beginning and platform to look forward because it is indeed proven and tested that their past president (if ever) is not that totally reliable and responsible after a lot issues  about him.

This is your own wish of choosing Joe Biden. If you see people in America are divided almost equally in favor of both Biden and Trump and therefore who ever will be declared the next president will not have full support from the public.
I think this will have bad impact on all businesses including gambling.
