1581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happened? on: September 20, 2020, 10:29:33 AM
Just saw this

I was looking for something and I happened to see both user and the post?
Just only looking by it they’ve been one of the good Gambling site,...
Anyone knows about them?

They may have closed their business or maybe gone bankrupt. No one cares know what happened with them. There are many gambling sites which comes and go. Only the few trusted ones are able to continue their business for long term.

You're rude dude. I think there was still some users here that cares and atleast wanted to know what happened as what cabalism13 was asking. It's true that the competition on each gambling sites are tight but I guess it does not mean that the casino mentioned above is a poor one, but it's possible because they've lost their site. But yet, there's other possibilities.

Seems that the owner already lost his business. If you look at the last post of the luckyflop account, he tried to enroll in tower.bet campaign, a new campaign of yahoo. I don't know if he is the original owner or already changed hands.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5276603.msg55216888#msg55216888

I think it does not matter if he applied in any campaign. Someday I could open up my casino and close it later due to any financial problems. Then if i apply in any campaign this does not mean that I changed the hands  Huh
1582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: September 20, 2020, 08:09:12 AM
Of course, scammers are hurting the development of cryptocurrencies, but it seems to me that bitcoin is becoming more stable. Scammers all over the world are looking for ways to make money fraudulently. It's safe to say that scammers around the world have stolen more dollars than bitcoins. They don't care what to steal.

The scams do harm the bitcoin reputation in the world. Some new people thinks that keeping money in bitcoin is not safe as it can be hacked anytime. Others who have no knowledge of bitcoins, when they hear these news, this give them negative impact about the digital currency and they never think of investing in it.

CSK won yesterday's match, great captaincy by MSD. Today we have DC vs KXIP, DC has more probability of winning this match, expecting them to win it easily but. anything can happen in IPL.

Player to watch out RAVI BISHNOI (KXIP).

Talking about the probability of the winner of the match, its best to check the odds for todays match.

Do they have to depend upon Steve Smith to win  always ? What is the roles of  other 10 players in the team ?
A team which is dependent on one player can never be successful because that formula of one man show cannot work in cricket. The other batsmen need to develop themselves too so that they could also take their team to the winning stage.

Australia is not an exception. Remember India of 1990s? Back then they were too dependent on Sachin Tendulkar. When he was not playing for India, there was a very high chance of India losing the match. Even the current Indian team is not very different. In overseas conditions, they still depend a lot on Virat Kohli. But this is not a very viable system, and can't continue forever.

I don't think Indian current team depends on Virat Kohli as much as Australians depends on Steve Smith to win matches for Australia. The moment your team becomes a one man show, the decline start. I think same s happening with Australia at the moment. If they want to regain their status, they have to stop depending on  Steve Smith performance.

Does anyone know where this match and the whole IPL season 2020 can be seen live on Internet (Youtube) as these matches are not been broadcasted in Pakistan sports channels  Sad

Quote
Notably, there will be no IPL live telecast in Pakistan. The IPL broadcasters have also got into contracts with the local broadcasters in Afghanistan and Bangladesh for the IPL 2020 live streaming.

That's really strange to know. IPL is broadcasted in 120 countries but Pakistan and China not in the list probably both the countries has some political tension with India. I think this is not fair as sporting events should not be mixed with bilateral diplomatic tensions.
Also its difficult to find the live coverage of matches on YouTube because only licensed media partners can broadcast the matches legally.
1586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 19, 2020, 05:21:20 PM

Let's see. I made a bet in favor of MI. And surprisingly a majority from the Bitcointalk pool have opted for MI. Around 2 hours remain and till now there is no news of any of the players pulling out due to COVID 19 infection.

Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock will be opening for MI, and Trent Boult/Jasprit Bumrah are likely to open the bowling. For CSK, the middle-order looks strong, with the inclusion of Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni. And indications are that Josh Hazlewood will be paying for CSK today, which will be a very big boost for them.

If CSK bats first, the big concern for the fans would be their ability to score quickly. Most of the players are 30 plus and many are 35 plus, and they don't have as many big hitters as MI.

My gut feeling says that the team which wins the toss will opt to field fist.

Both teams are good but MI usually starts their games with a loss and then start winning games so hoping they follow this trend today as well.

Fielding first is better as the ground doesn't look like a high-scoring one. I feel 170-180 runs can be made max.

@erikalui MI have posted a total of 162 runs, and CSK have already lost the wickets of Watson and Vijay which has made this match suddenly very interesting to watch. Also if CSK continues to lose few more quick wickets then they’ll not be able to chase this target down, however if one or two partnerships can be formed till the 15th over then CSK will have an excellent chance of winning this game.

Source:

https://www.cricbuzz.com/live-cricket-scores/30330/mi-vs-csk-1st-match

After that two early wickets, Rayudu and Faf playing sensibly and posted 50 run partnership meanwhile the required run rate is getting higher over 10+.CSK need two big overs to stop the required rate climbing too high or else it will be out of their hands in the final overs.

After a long time this IPL gave an opportunity to see the thriller match and also time with family.
Now Rayudu is doing best job for CSK as attacking on bowlers is going to help him some good they will be in better position in last overs 9 overs and 82 runs left to win with 8 wickets in hand is no big deal hopefully they will no chock and go through without any problem MI was in good position but their lowr middle order was unable to give some good runs so now all is in CSK hands lets see how they do this in death overs.

The match is equally positioned at this time and both teams can win this one, although CSK is little favorite because they have lost only 2 wickets.
If Chennai Super kings loses 1 or 2 wickets here, then the run rate can shot up and the target may become more stiff for them.

So you are suggesting that the match is evenly placed at this time but lets verify it through the odds. Below are the odds for this win market for this match.

1587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 18, 2020, 11:39:20 AM
Yes I understand this but some said just because Smith wasn't playing that Australia would lose and that is not the case in the shorter form of the game as Australia have won many times in ODI and T20 without Smith in the team. When it comes to test matches, that's another story as I do think that Australia need Smith in the team as he is that solid rock in test matches.

I don't agree. Even in ODI format, the absence of Steve Smith can be a major handicap for Australia. He is their most consistent batsman, by some distance. Marnus Labuschagne can be considered as the second best, but even he is not as good as Smith. None of the remaining batsmen are consistent enough, including Warner, Finch, Maxwell and Stoinis.

Do they have to depend upon Steve Smith to win  always ? What is the roles of  other 10 players in the team ?
A team which is dependent on one player can never be successful because that formula of one man show cannot work in cricket. The other batsmen need to develop themselves too so that they could also take their team to the winning stage.

shits happened and frustrates you up.
Frustrations is always been part of the game yet we know that results or outcomes aren't guaranteed that's why when there are games that we are quite sure that we do win but there are instances
that things do changes up in result to sudden lose instead and that really sucks but its part of the game.
frustration doesnt come out in the game but we people are creating it . there are people that can control them self and no frustrations coming out from them . at the end of the day , what your playing is gambling so dont act like you do know everything because expectation can lead to frustruations .

i dont like when i loose and become frustrated at the same time , thats why i try to be chill when gambling and i already expect the unexpected if ever it comes .

If you become frustrated from the loss in gambling then it will hurt you a lot. First your mood will not be good and you will not think from your mind while playing gambling. Secondly and more importantly when you are frustrated, you will try to recover your loss urgently and put more money in gambling without thinking. This may make you lose more.

A normal BMW or Audio is also not bad to win. I do not need the Lamb right away. One day when I hit the jackpot, I will buy one. Only have no parked garage here to park it  Tongue
I even think it will be much better to give a nice good car with less value to make it more credible.

I would be happy to get a normal bmw as a jackpot  or even half the price of this will be acceptable. I wish to win everything n small jackpots and prizes. One day i will also be announcing my winnings on this platform .

If your total score is 8 or higher, you may be a problem gambler.

LOL I've had higher than 10 TBH but I don't see myself facing nor having any problems with the Gambling at all. I know that I'm addicted onto it as I wake up and the first thing I do is to check if my bets where correct or not and even try to bet again before taking breakfast nor working. But I know that Gambling had been making me satisfied with the fun it yields towards the experiences but I also know how to discipline myself in order to make something good out of my  gambling activities.

I don't think the survey really accurate to all gamblers nor to all of their mindsets. But then, it's better for other gamblers to seek help whenever they feel to be addicted onto it.

it really depends on how you handle your gambling habits. it varies from person to person. same here, if i have bets of course, thats the first thing that you will check when you wake up. but it doesnt mean that you are a degenerate gambler. there are other factors in play here.
anyway, just know how to handle yourself in this game and youre pretty much safe from deep trouble...

As per my analysis is concerned on this, i think many people did not have anything constructive to work on during the covid 19 lock down time ,so they become addicted to online gambling because they could access it easily from their homes. Also during this period, many new people were introduced to online gambling as the physical gambling casino were completely closed.

I am not sure which language the mentioned gambling sites uses but most of the common language use by the gambling sites are Erlang, Python, JavaScript. Even C++ and Java is also used to build slot games.
1592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on Nov 21 on: September 16, 2020, 07:02:47 AM
Not surprise that Whyte wanted to get his revenge on Povetkin. He was really winning that fight, until that uppercut lands cleanly. So he wanted to get crack and really shows that he is not a over hype boxer and that his name belongs on top together with Fury, Wilder and Joshua.

For Povetkin, no adjusted as well, maybe he just needs to cover his chin and look again for that counter. I think it will last longer than the first fight though.

The big question is will Whyte  be able to take the revenge and will he be able to win from Povetkin this time ? If he failed to win again, this will be a big set back from him and his fans. Alexander Povetkin won the last fight and  denied Whyte from the title.

Are we seeing another young talent on the rise? Lorenzo Musetti has dominated his match against Stan Wawrinka, it was Musetti first ATP win of his career and if he can continue on with this form he might upset some more top seeded players in this tournament.

Lorenzo Musetti won the final match convincingly. In first set he was able to win 6-0 which is amazing performance. In second set Stan Wawrinka showed some resistance but Lorenzo was able to win it too by 7-6. He has been able to achieve a ITF juniors ranking 1st in the world.
1594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 16, 2020, 06:19:41 AM
Do you guys think that Smith will be a part of the squad in the final match?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/29890088/england-v-australia-3rd-odi-steven-smith-firming-place-series-decider%3fplatform=amp

I think he will return since it is a crucial match and he probably recovered from his concussion completely. Australia needs all the firepower that they can get against the English bowlers who seem to be in prime form.

Remember Ashes 2019? The 3rd match was very crucial for Australia, since the second match ended in a draw. Steve Smith received a concussion injury during the second match, and the team management decided against including him in the squad for the 3rd test. Marnus Labuschagne was included in the squad, replacing Steve Smith. The Australians have always prioritized the safety of their players.

So who won that all important 3rd Ashes match in 2019 without steve smith ?
Today is the final ODI between these two teams and the winning team will win the series. England will want to continue the winning streak and they have not lost a series in last couple of months.

The all important 2nd ODI between Australia and England is about to start. The main highlights are that England will bat first as they have won the toss. Look like this time they will be willing to give target and restrict Australia.
Look like smith is not playing today.

Alarming news for South Africa Cricket. Their Olympic body taking over CSA under its control and firing existing cricket board, technically government taking over. Implication? According to ICC constitution Cricket board should work as autonomously body and no government interference is allowed, if not then it could lead to ban from the International Cricket. More or less similar thing happened with the Zimbabwe cricket too.

South African Olympic body removes CSA board; takes control of cricket

Zimbabwe received a raw deal from the ICC, as they got suspended and were barred from receiving funds. Do the ICC have courage to do the same with South Africa? Especially at a time when the chairman election is due? These suspensions work only against smaller boards who have small number of supporters and not against larger boards such as South Africa.

I am sure ICC will not do this blunder. If they do, this will not be a popular decision. We already have few cricket playing nations and if they started banning them, the number will further decline. I hope South Africa wont face similar restrictions like Zimbabwe.
You are right this could be blunder but CSA is also not doing any thing good for controling corruptiona and many other issues which are hurting them very badly too much talk about quota system and many other serious troubles around there which need some stick intention but nothing hapepning and many players going away just because of these issues.

Corruption is everywhere but when corruption converts into destruction stringent action has to be taken. Same thing happened with BCCI few years back and now everything is running smoothly.

What happened with BCCI few years back ? They never had a case where they could face a ban from ICC .
The CSA board needs to be strong and to be able to control the players and the corruption if they want to survive in the international cricket.

Hello world,
I created a Bitcointalk account in 2018. But I didn't try to use it because I don't know how to use it. Then I tried to post or reply but they were deleted. Can anyone give me a solution?

All of your post other than this one is in the bounty section of the forum.
From your profile, it seems you belong to Bangladesh. It will be better if you post in your community thread and seek advice from there in your local language which may help you understand the rules of the forum.
1598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Raids and kids involving spider betting. on: September 13, 2020, 08:50:04 AM
It is not an excuse to do something against the law because of your passion.

If one kid says that he will run faster to other house than you and will pay you 10$ if you win, or you will pay him 5$ if he wins, does it count as gambling or betting and against the law?

I’m sure these kids done this just as a competition and dont have any intend to earn on betting.

Even if we believe that it was not betting and just a game, even then you can't play a game where you make a living creature fights and play games on who dies first. In some countries , it is even bigger crime. Same case is with the cock fighting which involve blood Sad

And where is your team page? If it's legit, then it should have a visible team with verified LinkedIn accounts. We are in the crypto world, so transparency is essential and needed. Sorry to say man, but GPT sites do come and go after a short stint (because they don't reveal their team members). I've been joining in various GPT sites before Bitcoin was born that didn't last (with the exception of the almighty Neobux), but I gave up on them after turning my attention in becoming a home-based virtual assistant for many years.

There is no team page but this does not mean that our project is not going to last. We are not asking users for money. What do you have to lose?  Smiley

I also checked your website and it's like the typical surveys or paid-to-click sites that have other tasks that you can do. What I'm curious to know are those quizzes you made are sponsored or you just started it on your own?

As much as I know, this kind of platform relies on the advertisers' money which you shall conduct through quizzes and all tasks that you have on your website. I haven't tried it that's why I have that question.

There is currently no sponsored content on my platform  Wink

If you do not have the sponsor on you site and i do not see any ads on your sites either, so from where are you paying all the workers on your site ?
Are you paying them from your own pocket ?
The site is good for those who have free time and like to earn pocket money.

The 14th match of this league between Speen Ghar Tigers and Kabul Eagles is in progress but I don't see any discussion of this league on this thread. Look like no one is interested in these matches.
