1601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK fines online casino for only asking KYC from winning gamblers on: January 24, 2023, 10:45:58 AM
There can be some authorities that will pass that law that will be receiving some good incentive from those casinos that will be badly hit by that law if it's about to get passed.
And you know, they just want to have the favor so that they'll not experience any problem as they operate. This is common in my country but I don't know in UK if they're too strict on that and they'll go along with the cause on the victim's side.
They just have to ratify it if they really are for the people so that these casinos that do always make excuses or create reasons to delay someone's winning for withdrawal.
1602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Preparing For 2023? on: January 23, 2023, 03:12:47 PM
I guess there's nothing wiser than just accumulating, even though most of us aren't really sure that 2023 there gonna be changes towards the current trend but I think accumulation always wins at the end just like holding always benefits long term holders. even right now stake programs didn't really seems interesting mainly the interest generated will just get eaten up with the inflation even if there's small decrease in value.
Get as much crypto as we can but mostly with bitcoin. That's the energy that we should be having for this year because we're all optimistic not just for this year.
But also for the upcoming year which is the bitcoin halving will occur. It's going to fulfill a lot of bags before it happens and everyone is taking that into consideration that when it happens, bull run will come.
1603  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: January 22, 2023, 08:06:13 PM
I agree, for those people that are already in retirement age and they're too old to work then they can't put that into that much risk and just go with the conversative deposits and investments just like putting it on the bank.
If the person is too old and understands bitcoin then that's a plus to that person but if not, it's better to just be conversative and sensitive with that money and save a lot but invest a little that's not too hurting if it losses.

The last statement will work, for those who can adopt the market and have that chance to learn more about Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency investing is a good opportunity to grow that money.

But, if you don't have that time then go with conserving that money and try to do some little
investment while the major portion of your save money can be stored in the bank for emergency
needs.
Definitely.
It's because not everyone has the ability to take the same risk just as we and that's why they should think of a more conversative investment that will at the same time protect their money and have a little to earn with.
This is applicable for most old people that has got money thus, if they don't want too, then they should just keep their wealth if they think it's enough to cover a lifetime.

Let me join, this is the least that I can do to help while I currently have no active campaign.
1605  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: January 18, 2023, 10:29:51 PM
The $100,000 is already in my account, since the money has been deposited how much interest rate has been given? If the question is meant for oldling days people then they can keep the money in the bank account and getting the 3% interest rate but if it is for this new technological digital economics generation, I don't think they would keep that amount in the bank the matter what.

Since the money is for reserve, it is better you keep in bitcoin wallet for a long time. Just use it to buy BTC and keep it there instead of keeping it in the Fiat banks that they would even deduct it every week and monthly.

1606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm planning on hosting a BTC seminar and a friend also followed my path on: January 16, 2023, 07:49:16 PM
A good topic is all about the technology that's attached to bitcoin. The price and speculation could have some space on your seminar and that's just to give an idea on how it goes but you're just going to give little time to it. I guess you've got no sponsor on this one and you can make a poll on which topics you may want to discuss if you still have got no idea on what you must discuss on that seminar that you're planning to make.
Or, it's always best to have these discussions with the most basic topics like starting to look at its whitepaper and discuss stuff about wallets and how to avoid getting scammed. Those are interesting starters and basic topics.
1607  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Primary Purpose (Advertising or Gift) on: January 14, 2023, 09:50:55 PM
Both purpose.
The campaign manager is in the process of selection of their participants while the company itself will just pay for the advertisement. So, both are shouldering the responsibility of maximizing the potential results of the campaign.
And not just in signature campaign that you'll get in having quality posts but you can do article writing and expand into that and so on, that is if you want to maximize your writing capabilities as well.
1608  Economy / Economics / Re: These Are the Top 10 Most Profitable Side Hustles in 2023 on: January 12, 2023, 07:00:44 PM
Content is king on this era and anything related to social media is one of the most profitable side hustles that one can make. I've worked before related to #10 and it's not lucrative before since social media wasn't that big before. But I'm starting to see that money is everywhere on this niche and someone has just to know the area of expertise that they need to focus with. And if somebody is aware of SMM (Social media marketing/managing), this should need a place on that list but that's okay if it's not there but many knows that it's very lucrative these days to get involved with.
1609  Economy / Economics / Re: What was your lowest point financially? How did you go through it ? on: January 10, 2023, 11:22:47 PM
If we are talking about investing in bitcoin, then in this case this is a good strategy. And the rule of not keeping all the eggs in one basket, I would apply in this case in such a way that your investment in bitcoin should not be the only investment, except that you can find other investments outside of cryptocurrency, this will definitely reduce risks.
It's the actual diversification that everybody has to do. Not that wholly diversified as long as you're good with something you focus with and you're very optimistic with it as you projects that there's a certain target that you're looking at, it's okay to stay on that like in bitcoin or real estate or jewelries and so on, etc. The risk will be reduced based on the market that you're in with those investments but the same risk as taking something uncertain because of the possible up and downtrend of those markets.
1610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people store their cryptocurrency on exchanges? on: January 09, 2023, 08:40:49 PM
Easy access.
It's like that you'll just have to log in and boom, you can see your balance and if you want to trade, then trade it with other cryptocurrencies and have its value currently with a stable coin. That's how quick it is and that's why those that have huge fund are keeping it no matter what warning people have been telling them, they trust the exchange no matter what happens. It will be hard to convince them if they're the ones that understands the situation and yet, no action done.
1611  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people always speak good about the dead? on: January 05, 2023, 10:04:28 PM
It's like the last pay respect to the deceased. Well, since he can no longer talk and tell what he has done good to other people, that's how they've conversed and interacted with the deceased.
We don't condone the crimes of someone that has been done as they have to pay for it and the person's death might be the payment for all of those crimes and yet, behind that there's still some inch of good deeds he did for the people he know personally.
1612  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: January 03, 2023, 10:10:21 PM
Saving money in the bank and investing is risky, nothing is perfect and absolutely safe. Banks are centralized and may face bankruptcy resulting in frozen or even lost funds. Invest the bulk of your funds in Bitcoin and save for an emergency fund. Holding Bitcoin for a long time can look forward to one day earning more profits.
Yeah, nothing is perfect but saving money in the bank is safe IMO. Your money is there being held by there and being kept to their vault, while them, they're going to use it for funding other borrowers need and they'll take more interest than you, the owner of that money.
We know how their business goes but you have zero risk in keeping your money in the bank until something wrong goes on.
Just like what happened in Lebanon and China, their deposits can't even take their money because that's what the government says so. And for you to avoid that, it's better for you to keep it on your own and just as we keep our bitcoin, you're also the one to hold your cash.
1613  Other / Archival / Re: Long-term Bitcoin accumulation continues on: January 02, 2023, 11:08:01 PM
Each year, there's the reality that the actual market exposes it and that's actually good for every individual that's in the market. Knowing that real bitcoins are out of the exchanges and they're having hard time taking back the trust of everyone. It's nice to see that a little by little everybody get to hold their own bitcoins through their own wallets. There are still some holders that have kept their bitcoins/sats on exchanges but eventually, they'll learn the importance that they should be the one holding it and the same goes for everyone that keeps on accumulating. Although it's more convenient to have it kept in an exchange but it's safest to keep it on our wallets.
1614  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: December 31, 2022, 02:32:05 PM
Each thought about someone applying for multiple positions are correct, each opinion that has been given has a point and very valid.
I think when someone applies for multiple campaigns, it's not that even guaranteed that all of the campaigns he'd applied for will he be accepted. But yeah, if I'm a campaign manager and already had accepted someone and then later on, that accepted applicants says that he's no longer going to pursue his acceptance to the campaign, both have just wasted their times but to this, it is the campaign manager's discretion. Yeah, like everyone's opinion, as for the campaign managers - to his each own.
1615  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: December 30, 2022, 08:30:21 PM
They need a helping hand and if someone who has never been poor before, you may not understand what the actual situation is.
Words can be hurtful when you're talking to one of them and even you give the best advice in the world about investing. You just can't compare your situation to theirs. And that's because you're not experiencing the true hardship of being poor, they want to invest as well and be well in life but just can't because they can't afford to delay the crumbling of their stomachs.
The OP was a little hard on poor people, I agree on that, and while it is true that it can be difficult to convince them when it comes to matters related to money, that is to be expected, after all the poor need to take care of their money as they have so little of it, so they are not easily convinced to part with it, besides I do not think bitcoin is the best place for them to invest their money as at the first drop on the price they will get scared and they will want to sell their coins, so it is better they use whatever savings they may have to create a small business and try to increase their income this way.
He surely is. I was that type of person before that thinks what's best for people. But after learning that it just can't happen as quick as it can based on their situation and day to day living. You'll have to understand that it's not that really easy at all. Especially for those people that have been really working hard but still sees that what they do isn't enough, what's more for them to push through? And before giving some suggestions asking them what they want to invest, I'll hear them out on what they know about investing. We have different appetites towards investing and we may like bitcoin but not them although it's likely that they've got something better out of their minds on how they can come out of poverty. I know that they're the best hustlers but let's understand the situation first.

1617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if the government of a country is irresponsible? on: December 28, 2022, 08:41:25 PM
What if the government of a country is irresponsible and issues a large amount of currency to buy Bitcoin?
No matter what the reason is, inflation is already very serious now. If some unscrupulous governments print a lot of money in order to repay debts and fight inflation, of course it will not be one time. Credit money no longer has credit.
When a chain of interests is formed between big countries, behind the crazy printing of money is the harvesting of countries that are not rich. What would it look like if it were all exchanged for Bitcoin?
AFAIK, if a country is planning to print as much money as they can, there's a governing international body that has to be informed doing that so they'll be monitored. There are some legitimate reasons why it can be done but I don't think that they'll ever allocate to do it for bitcoin.
Unless that country is really a bitcoin nation like El Salvador but even them, they are not telling that they've got plans like this because I think it may not be impossible but highly unlikely.
1618  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How do you create good habits and break bad ones, what actually works? on: December 27, 2022, 10:30:35 PM
It's said that when you do something for around 21 days straight, you're likely to make it as a habit. So, that's likely to make you form the good habits by doing it repeatedly and the same goes for the bad habits that you want to eliminate.
Just keep on doing it and they'll be formed in whichever side you want them to be. But of course, it's still going to depend on how you endure the process, it won't be easy but it's worth it.
1619  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: December 26, 2022, 09:29:48 PM
Do this in highly urbanized area where people are decent. But not on places where it's mostly flocked by people that might get a trip on you.

That is one of the things I do enjoy about street gambling which is one thing that casinos or game make to do make more game and user experience to be quite better. The street still rule out making games we do play now and taking bold games on casinos can could be pretty good but most do originate from the street and everyone knows that.
I don't see it as something to enjoy with. Gambling should be done at a proper venue because you're not just going to stake with money if it's ever done on public areas but also with your life.
1620  Economy / Services / Re: $10 000 for a Hustler who brings us 1000 real paying users on: December 25, 2022, 11:05:23 PM
@Op is there already someone whom asked you for details and you've given but didn't proceed after knowing what the project of yours is?

With the signature campaign, we have no prior experience. According to us, paying users are not drawn in by the signatures.

Contact me so we can have a telegram conversation. Do you have a link to key performance indicators from a recent signature campaign that was run here?
Take it from yahoo. He's one of the professional campaign managers here in the forum and if you're for the results of short term running it, you'll be dismayed with it.
