3 month - not payed
PM - not respond
This version of the campaign has only been running for about 4 weeks and has a new campaign manager (Lutpin). I have been paid EVERY week so far without delay. If you had issues with the old campaign, I suggest you take it up directly with Lightlord, it has nothing to do with Lutpin.
10062  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitPistol - Are you smart enough to solve this puzzle? >>> TEST your brains <<< on: August 14, 2016, 12:05:24 AM
Would it not be a pure 50/50 chance (ie. "fair") regardless of where you started?

There are an even number of chambers and 2 players, so each player will have 3 chambers that they could potentially use. Regardless of who goes first, each player has an equal number of chambers assigned to them, so after the spin, both players have an equal chance of having a bullet in one of their chambers.

And because you can't change which chambers you have (no spinning) the odds of getting a bullet overall don't change from 50/50.
10063  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Anyone tried Freewallet ? on: August 13, 2016, 10:30:45 PM
I tried Breadwallet on Android and in my opinion it has a long way to go to be a useful product for my use case.

For starters, it makes EVERYTHING bright and white with it's theme... I'm a dark/black theme type of person. It also has a fit if you use 3rd party keyboards and insists you change it to be able to do some features in a case the keyboard is trying to steal your keystrokes (I was using Google Keyboard!! as system default was AOSP)... it also throws up lots of warnings about your device being rooted and other stuff.

For some people, I'm sure it is perfectly fine... but honestly, it just seemed like they were trying to bring iOS thinking onto Android... if I wanted that, I'd be using an iPhone.
10064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin + Exchanges = ? on: August 13, 2016, 10:20:23 PM
BTC isn't any different... people are, in general, "greedy"... and somewhat illogical... we seem to think that we can make value out of nothing... much like Wall St, it is all just shifting numbers around... and is all smoke and mirrors.

Most altcoins exist purely to pump and dump and make BTC. Most exchanges just become big enough to either become too tempting a target for the owners to scam and run or for hackers to attack. Online or in real life, whenever there is a chance to make serious $$$, there will be crime/scams etc...
10065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 13, 2016, 09:08:57 PM
  • Hull City v Leicester City - Leicester ML - LOSS
  • Burnley v Swansea City - tempted to go Draw here, or maybe under 2.5 - Under 2.5 would have WON
  • Crystal Palace v W.B.A. - Probably Crystal Palace - Would have been a LOSS
  • Everton v Tottenham Hotspur - Could go either way, so maybe Draw No Bet on Spurs? - PUSH
  • Middlesborough v Stoke City - Another tough call between 2 middle/low teams, Draw maybe? - WON
  • Southamption v Watford - Southampton ML - LOSS
  • Man. City v Sunderland - Man. City ML - WIN
Wow... so as I predicted a few surprises... Hull beating Leicester (who were simply dreadful and didn't even deserve the 1 goal they got)... WBA getting up over Crystal Palace... draws all over the place. Opening day is always interesting Wink

For the remaining games:

  • Bournemouth v Man Utd - Man Utd Easy choice, esp @ 1.83 ML, but it wouldn't surprise me if it ends up a draw!
  • Arsenal v Liverpool - This is a tricky one, maybe both teams to score?
  • Chelsea v West Ham - Chelsea Another easy ML pick
10066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the chances to get a 13+ losing streak? on: August 13, 2016, 09:01:51 AM
It is upto you what amount of bitcoins you are going to bet and what strategy are you using it, because as per your strategy the site will give red streak, if you are using martingale of odd 1.2 winnings then i think 13+ is also possible. It 100% chances of getting 13+ losing streak as the site is here to make money but not to donate money so the software is written the way that it will surely cross the mark of your loosing streak. If you are intelligent then you will stop the bet after 5th or 6th losing streak.
This is rubbish... They don't write the software so that you purposely lose. At least, not on "provably fair" sites. They don't have to.

Anyone who understands probability knows this. By simply not offering "true odds" and giving reduced payouts, they create the house edge... so if you go for 50/50 odds, you only get 1.984x payout, instead of proper 2x payout or if you select 2x payout, they only give you 49.6% chance of winning instead of 50%.

This edge is what leads to casinos making money in the long run.

And depending on your bankroll and what payouts and multipliers you're using for your strategy, you don't necessarily need to stop at 5 or 6 losses... look at mine... I was getting 60+ losses and still coming out ahead. In my case, the bankroll needs to be at least 20000x as large as your base bet... so for 10 satoshi base bet, a bankroll of 200,000.

10067  Economy / Gambling / Re: monthly best gambling site!!! (august edition) on: August 13, 2016, 07:05:55 AM
Putting my vote in for crypto-games.net. People are friendly, offers multiple currency (including investing)... has a decent range of stuff to gamble on. MODs in chat aren't heavy handed power tripping tools... also it is supported by Seuntjie's Dice Bot.

Ticks all my boxes Smiley
10068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the chances to get a 13+ losing streak? on: August 13, 2016, 06:59:37 AM
To answer your question, isn't the probability of that sequence happening just something like .5^13?? (0.00012207031 or 0.012207031%)... the chance for the next roll is still .5 though.

All sorts of crazy stuff can happen with "truly" random numbers and probability... I have been running some bets on a provably fair site that I trust, using Seuntjie's Dice Bot... win chance is 10.02%, so one would reasonably expect, on average, 1 win in every 10 "rolls".

My longest losing streak at this chance level is.... 68... SIXTY EIGHT!!?!  Shocked

And that isn't just a once off type thing either, here is a run of around 8000 rolls from today, you can see the 4 big downspikes... they were all 60+ loss streaks...

What I can be "mathematically" sure of, is that over a very large number of rolls (infinite?), my wins/loss ratio should be somewhere close to 10.02%... everything inbetween, including "short" sequences of a couple of thousand rolls, well anything can happen.

Moral of the story? Have a big bankroll to start... and bet small Wink
10069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest me some good gambling site on: August 13, 2016, 06:40:50 AM
I am ready to invest in gambling site, just need a good paying site.

As you know investing in a gambling site is not always a lucrative activity.Of course not atleast with the ones running a fair casino as house doesn't win all the time.If you really are looking to invest using bitcoins/altcoins in a trusted/fastest dice [and other games] gambling site, don't hesitate to try out Crypto-Games.net.We have great investment opprtunities.
First of all a wee disclaimer: I have invested money into crypto-games.net, but am not personally affiliated with the owners/admins etc. I'm just a user that was looking for an investment opportunity and liked what I saw.

In saying that, I have to agree with Patatas. Just be aware that this isn't a "double your BTC in 24hrs" type investment... and it isn't a 10%/day type HYIP either... nor are earnings guaranteed, I spent the first 5 days in negative profit... bad timing on my part Tongue

In their favour, Crypto-Games seems to have a loyal group of players and they have some nice features that attract people like supporting multiple crypto currencies, easy faucets, a rainbot in the chat, MODs and Admins who are relatively active on the site so getting help/advice is usually relatively quick. Deposits only need 1 confirmation and free withdrawls if you're happy with possibly "low priority" transaction fees being used.

They take investments in several currencies, and all currency investments are treated separately, so you can spread your risk that way... Your investment profits are not paid out automatically on a daily/weekly schedule as such, You have to manually cashout your investment... but profits do compound, so you earn profit on your profit until you cashout Wink

But, I'm a happy investor and will continue to stick with it for the time being and hopefully watch my BTC investment grow Smiley
10070  Economy / Gambling / Re: Seuntjies DiceBot -Multi-Site, multi-strategy betting bot for dice. With Charts! on: August 13, 2016, 06:23:51 AM
Just wondering if there is a known issue where the bot gets a bit confused because of network timeout or something?

Had an incident today where the bot just appeared to stop for no reason, status bar at the bottom showed: "status/current action: Betting 0.00000081 at 10.020 Low", but nothing was happening. Last bet recorded in the list was the previous bet at 0.00000079, but on the crypto-games.net site, there were 2 extra bets @ 0.00000080 that were spaced about 1min 43 seconds apart... Clicking "Stop" button on bot set the status to "stopping" but the status never changed to "stopped". So after about 5 minutes, I just restarted the betting and away it went happily.

I assume the bot had attempted to place the next bets, but had encountered an API response timeout or something, tried again, same thing and then it just halted?
10071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 13, 2016, 06:13:35 AM
Ok... so today/tonight we have the following games... my actual picks highlighted in Bold

  • Hull City v Leicester City - Leicester ML
  • Burnley v Swansea City - tempted to go Draw here, or maybe under 2.5
  • Crystal Palace v W.B.A. - Probably Crystal Palace
  • Everton v Tottenham Hotspur - Could go either way, so maybe Draw No Bet on Spurs?
  • Middlesborough v Stoke City - Another tough call between 2 middle/low teams, Draw maybe?
  • Southamption v Watford - Southampton ML
  • Man. City v Sunderland - Man. City ML

The 3 games between the lower ranked teams and the match up with Everton and Spurs are a bit of a lottery to be honest... I suspect they might throw up a few surprises or draws and it will be like the Champions/Europa League qualifiers all over again. I shall resist the urge to bet on EVERY game this week and be a bit smarter with my picks Wink
10072  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Special Vanity Generator Hardware on: August 13, 2016, 05:33:21 AM
I don't believe there is, given the amount of work that would be involved in creating one and the relatively small pool of people that would even be interested in such a thing, given the limitations of mining for vanity addresses (ie. limited length vs. ridiculous difficulty). Miners aren't exactly cheap... and there really isn't much in the way of rewards for generating vanity addresses... look at the existing website/pool/service that has been setup... they're certainly not making 12.5BTC for "hitting the jackpot" like you get when attempting to mine coins.

Hardware miners are designed/built to work on mining coins themselves, not generating addresses. Granted it is a very similar thing, generating and comparing hashes etc. so I suppose it would be possible to modify an existing miner, assuming you can modify the firmware/OS onboard the miner... and you knew how to do that Wink

I would think the real question is not if you could do it... but why would you do it?? Huh
10073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would anyone be interested in doing pool betting on the English Premier League? on: August 12, 2016, 11:38:38 AM
I am still keen for the 0.01 weekly pay as you go idea... come on guys... put your tipping money where your tipping mouth is and join up Smiley

It'll be good fun... and what is better than some good BTC rewards and bragging rights?? Wink
10074  Economy / Gambling / Re: BookieBig launched! Bet on sports through Telegram - DAILY FREE BET on: August 11, 2016, 08:02:24 AM
Curious to see what message I will receive ( if  I will) at the end of the match.

Only minus is the low choice of odds in every event I "browsed"  and the annoying fact that I have to turn CAP LOCK on every time I need to type chat commands (any chance system will be turnoed in not case sensitive?)  but beside this good impression so far.
I can tell you from experience, that you will only receive a notification if your bet is a win. Loses and pushes won't generate any response from the bot. Also, the processing of wagers can sometimes take a little while, although it has been improving... so sometimes it may take an hour or 2 before you get your winnings. You can still see the "/pending" bets, so don't worry if it takes a while, your win will be paid out Smiley

I never type chat commands... on Android you just tap the "/" icon, or the "/" codes in the responses from the Bot. The only thing I ever have to type in, is my bet amount.

Also, I mostly bet on Soccer... and they've added "Draw" odds to the MoneyLine options, so you can use online calculators to calculate "Draw no bet" and "Double Chance" options if you want... I like to use the one here

Hopefully, they might add other options like Both Teams to Score... or exact score or halftime/fulltime options or whatever... but to be honest, the MoneyLine, Spread and Totals Bets are usually enough for me.
10075  Economy / Gambling / Re: BookieBig launched! Bet on sports through Telegram - DAILY FREE BET on: August 10, 2016, 06:59:19 AM
your system very complicated and difficult member,
only make bet should via telegram, I think the more simple transactions via the web, for whats app chat via bbm or telegram only problem solved and customer service help
I have to disagree. The system is incredibly easy to use, is "lightweight" and doesn't involve trying to navigate websites designed for viewing on 24" monitors and large amounts of javascript etc. on a tiny 5" phone screen.

You use simple commands that you can just "tap" on for the most part... tap on the "/" icon in Telegram, it brings up the option menu, then you just follow your nose "/sports"... then select the "/" code for the sport you want, and continue all the way through the various sub options for each sport until you find the game/betting option you want... Then enter the amount you want to bet, they even have "/" codes for 10%, 25%, 50%, 100% of bankroll quick bets... it'll give you the confirmation screen and you tap "place bet" and you're done.

They have a chat group on Telegram as well for support and are very responsive and pro-active... they even advised the other day when there was an issue with payout processing BEFORE I'd noticed there was an issue. And, as an added bonus, they've just added a "/faucet" command, which effectively gives you a "free bet" every day by crediting you a "minimum bet" amount to your account! Smiley

I'm loving this system... it's great.
10076  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Electrum vs Multibit on: August 10, 2016, 06:42:36 AM
when i said 8 i didn't really calculate anything but let me do it now here and you check if i am doing it right:

there are 26 letters in English
x2 because of lower case and upper case
there are 10 numbers
there are 32 signs (symbols) on the keyboard only (*, /, #, $, ,, ^) and i won't count the rest of the signs (ƒ, ¥,£,...)

this total is 94 so a random password like this: Df@m$Jdu (8 char long) has 6E+15 different possible variations.
and if i understand the picture above correctly the worst case scenario is going through 2.5E+5 passwords/s
so it would take 2.44e+10 sec or in other words it takes 773 years to go through the passwords.
Yeah that sounds about right... 8 places, with 94 options per place is 94^8... which is around 6.095E+15 variations...

I guess the issue is that people are stupid and will made a password like Pass1234 and think it is secure. Most hackers are likely to just run a bruteforce on letters and numbers... 62^8 would only be around 27 years Wink

One question I do have, because I'm not sure how the password hashing functions used by the wallets (it was mentioned SHA256 and Scrypt) operate... but what is the risk of hash collision using the various functions? ie. From experience, I know of Excel spreadsheet brute forcing passwords will return a password that unlocks the sheet, but is completely different from the original password used. eg original password was Test1234 and the brute force showed aaaa1999. I assume this is due to checking the "hash" of the input password and the 2 inputs generating the same hash.

You do realise that Test Match cricket is scheduled to last for 5 days right??  Tongue

You're going to be waiting a while to collect on this Parlay, assuming everything wins of course... hahaha  Grin I'd just not taking bets on Test Match cricket in the future if you want a fast result...

10078  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Electrum vs Multibit on: August 06, 2016, 12:49:46 PM
it is the password which is used to encrypt the wallet file and NO you do not need a 50-60 char long pass. brute force is done with a dictionary or similar ways so you are still pretty safe with a password which is 8 char long but it is random letter+number+signs

although i am interested to hear from f___o about the method he is talking about for breaking these encryptions, is it brute force the way i think or is it something else?
As he explained to me earlier... that graph shows the relative speed with which one can test passwords against the encrypted wallet file due to the hashing algorithms they use for comparing input password will file password.

Some algorithms are super fast, so you can test passwords faster... as you can compute their hashes faster to test against the encrypted file.

Of course, this is still brute forcing... so if you use a "secure" password which is nice and long (I hesitate to give a definite value, but certainly longer than 8 and the longer the better), and uses uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols... brute forcing is still going to take a "long" time to run through all the possible combinations... What the graph shows is just that one program (MultibitHD) would take considerably longer than the other (Electrum) due to password test speed.
10079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: August 06, 2016, 12:41:00 PM
Oh my... I will need to take all the money out of my sports book account... too much temptation with all those games! hahaha

No doubt there will be a few upsets... and honestly, a lot of those match ups look difficult to pick... It is always hard gauging teams from different countries and leagues against each other... at least until a few games have been played.
10080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Final balance in blockchain not in wallet on: August 06, 2016, 02:32:30 AM
Yeah... with Xapo, you cannot just look at an address on blockchain.info (or any other block explorer) and expect the balances to match what is in you account. This is because:

1. You get a new receive address after every receive. So unless you keep giving the same original address you will need to check the transactions for EVERY address you've ever used and add them all up. This will only give you total received, not necessarily the total balance.

2. Xapo operates a bit like a coin mixer. When you request to send money out, it uses funds from a pool, rather than your inbound unspent transactions. So it is difficult to track the outgoing from your Xapo using a blockexplorer, as you have no idea what address it is sending from. You have to search for the address you sent TO and then find the transaction that matches the amount you sent.

I know this for a fact, as I have a Xapo address account that shows a "Final balance" of 0.00640559 BTC on blockchain.info. The actual balance for that account is nowhere near that figure, because it can't track the incomings from other receive addresses attached to that account... and it also can't tracking the sending of funds from that account.

TLDR; you can't track Xapo balances on block explorers
