The activity determines your rank.

This forum has 14 day periods, in them you can only gain +14 activity in each 14 day period. This is to stop people becoming hero members in a short space of time and spamming the forum.
I know that... I mean for the purposes of this sig campaign... rank updates get processed for the following week... ie. if you upgrade midweek, you stay on previous rank pay for the entire week... then start the next week on new pay level.

I'm fairly sure I read that previously in this thread... but I can't find it  Undecided

EDIT: ahhhh Finally found it... it was in one Lutpins big multi quote responses Wink

Hi Luptin sir when i applied for this campaign i was a newbie and i got accepted also. But now i became Jr.Member so please make my entry in this campaign as Jr.Member and update that in the spreadsheet also.
I will do rank updates at the end of rounds after the payment.

Wooo... finally made it out of Newbie mode Wink

I vaguely remember seeing in one of Lutpin's previous posts that rank updates are processed after a round... I've been re-reading this thread from the beginning but can't find the reference. Probably just me "man looking" as my missus says... but can anyone (Lutpin?) confirm this is indeed the case?  Huh

Anyway, got my shiny new sig on... Cheesy
10163  Economy / Gambling / Re: Willy Wonka's Golden Ticket Online 5 x $1000000 Golden Tickets on: July 20, 2016, 01:23:48 AM
do you think the national lottery will give $100,000,000 if they sell 1000 tickets at $1 no. This is how all lotteries work of course. Things are going well after day 1 Smiley
You still haven't answered my questions:

1. Are you willing to admit that you don't currently have $5,000,000 and that the ability to payout these prizes (ignoring the odds of you just running off with the cash) is fully dependent on selling at least 5,000,000 tickets... and by selling I mean, not including any "free" tickets that are given out for referrals?

2. There is currently no confirmed draw date... and the draw would be "at some random, unspecified date in the future"... is that correct?

You do realise that dodging the, very legitimate, questions that are being raised in this thread, only damages what little credibility you currently have within this community. Newbies don't garner a whole lot of trust here, especially ones that just pop up with a website with very little specifics and effectively say "Give me $20,000,000 and I'll pay out $5,000,000"...

You might have done better, by aiming maybe a little lower... say 10,000 or 1,000 tickets... and you should definitely be paying out more than 25% of the money... seriously, you expect people to give you $15,000,000 for organising this??  Huh

Something like a 1,000 ticket lottery... with a payout in the order of 90-95% of the pool would probably attract a higher uptake...
10164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ★ FREE AND PREMIUM TIPS ALL SPORTS ★ SUMMARY 773W-243L ★ on: July 20, 2016, 12:39:00 AM
Yeah... Legia seemed to be a popular choice amongst several of the tipsters... sadly, my book doesn't offer so many betting options currently, so I could only take a money line at around 1.36... But still, a nice little profit to finally break my losing streak!

Thanks for the tips... keep up the good work. Smiley
10165  Economy / Services / Re: Will pay $4 btc for SMS verification of localbitcoins account on: July 19, 2016, 12:22:53 PM
Yes go ahead  with this service and once he scams a poor dude for a couple of hundreds,be happy that you made it possible with the fake number since the poor scammed dude wouldn't be able to track the scammer down.Man,you guys are bunch of retarded cunts, selfish as fuck while helping scammers do their things. To be honest, everyone commenting here should be tagged as well. Verifying a phone number for a user who mostly would scam is as bad as scamming yourself. Why else one would ask others to verify on his behalf ? Can't he afford a phone ? @Letyouearn2,you're a loser.Glad theymos didn't recover your account.
yeah its seems something really scammy guyzz please be aware from this thread as op haven't disclosed more information about it!

Yeah, that's why I asked. I'm not all that familiar with how localbitcoins works. From what I gather it is a buy/sell type exchange where you can buy or sell your bitcoins with somebody in your local area... so I figured that this guy was wanting to set up fake/alt accounts for some reason...  Huh maybe so he can use it to build fake rep or something? Which would usually mean they are trying to run a scam...

I was hoping he'd PM me with details so I could investigate further, but no word back... and I doubt he'll PM me now Tongue
10166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: July 19, 2016, 11:49:38 AM
I have read a lot of tipsters thread here as I check them often for finding nice bets to place but all of them are not confident to bet in this early stage of Champions League qualification. All of them have the same reason and explanation. A lot of unknown teams playing here.
I guess that is a solid indication that it just isn't worth the risk at the moment. Guess I will have to find some other sport or competition to waste gamble my hard earned bitcoins on until the competition settles down and becomes a bit more predictable.

Until then, maybe I'll just virtual sports gamble some more and see if I can get a decent W:L ratio going Wink

1. OMG, $3594 made already...  Shocked not a bad haul for just whacking up a website... Stupid people be stupid I guess...  Roll Eyes

2. Will be interesting to see what the Trademark owners of Willy Wonka have to say about this little lottery... I hope you know a cheap lawyer Tongue

PS. Please don't invest in this ridiculous scam. There is no way this clown has $5,000,000 to cover the prizes... the only way it could ever get paid out is if at least 5,000,000 tickets get sold... by which point the OP would probably already have run off with the cash anyway... hell I would probably run when it got anywhere over $10,000!  Grin
10169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: July 19, 2016, 11:14:27 AM
Is it worth betting on these early qualifying matches?  Huh

I have not been having much luck to be honest... a lot of the results seem to be going against the odds Sad I've been trying to bet "offline" by just making picks with imaginary money because I was on a bit of a losing streak... and I'm still losing Sad

I suspect some of it is just that I am not familiar with a lot of these teams from the less well known leagues... so I can't really compare the teams properly. Also, some of these odds look like they are hardly worth betting on... ~1.1, ~1.2 etc...
10170  Economy / Services / Re: Will pay $4 btc for SMS verification of localbitcoins account on: July 19, 2016, 10:54:34 AM
When you say "codes", does this mean multiple messages will be sent... or is it just a single message? Does the mobile number need to be from a specific country or can it be from any country?

Can anyone else advise if this is likely to be conducted as part of a scam of some description involving a localbitcoins transaction... Paranoia level is high Wink

In any case, I have PM'd
10171  Economy / Gambling / Re: BookieBig launched! A telegram bot for betting bitcoins on sports - BTC GIVEAWAY on: July 19, 2016, 10:39:04 AM
Yes, we're planning to expand the betting options gradually. We'll have parlays eventually but it's further down on the list. Glad to hear you're enjoying the bot! It started as an experiment so we're pleased to see so many people adopting it.

Resolving payouts faster is a priority now. In the meantime, a reminder that you can also deposit more btc! Once BookieBig receives your deposit you'll be able to bet instantly with 0 confirmations!
You're not kidding. I pressed send in Mycelium... and about 1 second later got a Telegram notification from the BookieBig bot!!?! Shocked  I tested it out and have placed a couple more bets and they went through fine, even with 0 confirmations. Fingers crossed I can get a little payout so I can test withdrawl Tongue...

On the subject of 0 confirmation betting, I would like to ask what happens if the transaction isn't confirmed by game time?? Will the bet stand and I'll get paid out if it wins (after the transaction confirms obviously) or will the bet simply be voided and the stake will eventually be returned to my balance?

I remember reading in another thread that sportsbooks offering 0 confirmation betting were opening themselves up to some sort of "double spend exploit", whereby a player could somehow double spend the coins used in a losing bet and send them back to themselves or something I guess... I believe this may have been related to the sportsbooks policy on how to treat bets where the funds were unconfirmed at time of even starting. So, if the bet was voided, it wouldn't matter... but if they let the bet stand, then "Bad things™" could happen...  Undecided

10172  Economy / Services / Re: Paying $0.50 for each complete task on: July 18, 2016, 01:24:42 PM
Don't waste your time. It is a stupid file hosted on fileice.net... one of those "Complete this offer/survey to unlock the download" type sites...

The OP wants you to download it and PM him the text code inside the txt doc to prove you downloaded it. However, all you will end up doing is clicking pointless links and running through about 34578917598 pages of advertising and "free" offers... All that does is give other people, like the OP, their affiliate $$$ for your clicks... and, no surprise, the download will NEVER unlock... regardless of how many offers or surveys you complete.

You'll notice that not ONE person has posted here saying how easy and quick it was to get the code from the txt file they are supposed to download... Because I'm pretty much 100% sure, no one has managed to download it Tongue

Well I lost my first bet, but I really like the app!  I didn't understand quite what I was doing.  I thought I was betting on the better odds, but I realized after I made the bet, that I bet on pretty slim odds.  Oh well, I learned something new.  I plan to use this bot more, it makes sports betting much easier for me.  Thanks for the "faucet money" to make a bet!

Hah... 19.91!!?!  crazy odds... Shocked

Not sure how you messed it up... it is pretty easy... select sport, select league/competition, select game... select bet... usually 1 of only 3 options - Money Line, Spread, Totals...

Speaking of, @bittysmalls... are you guys planning on offering other betting options? Like "Both Team To Score"... half time... or creating parlays etc? Despite my terrible betting skills (think I'm currently about 3 wins, 3 losses, 1 push Tongue)... I am quite enjoying the Bot Smiley Just wish the payouts settling of bets was a bit quicker is all... I've missed betting on a couple of games because I didn't get my payouts in time Sad
10174  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: July 17, 2016, 10:46:31 PM
I have 20 HD5850-HD7950, how can I merge in the pool, quickly find a beautiful bitcoin address
By reading the instructions for oclvanityminer in the OP of this thread and at the vanitypool website FAQ... It is pretty straightforward. oclvanityminer is just a commandline app, and has options that allow you to run multiple threads across multiple devices etc... The most basic being:

Code:
oclvanityminer -u https://vanitypool.appspot.com/ -a yourBitcoinAddressForPaymentGoesHere

It will connect to vanitypool, select the "best" bounty from those available and start working on it. AFAIK, you cannot select a specific task to work on from the pool.

Whether it is currently worth it is a different question. The bounties currently on offer are fairly low for the amount of work required. Most of them are 8+ char patterns with ridiculous difficulty with estimated times measured in years... although, with 20 GPUs at your disposal, you might do better Wink
10175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is common for a transaction in bitcoin not be noted in Blockchain? on: July 17, 2016, 10:31:37 PM
Hello guys, how are you? I have a doubt. It is possible a transaction not be annotated by Blockchain? It is today 12 hours UTC, I sent 260,000 bits for another my wallet. But so far not arrived, I seek the transaction id in blockchain and says: "Sorry We Could not find any blocks or transactions matching this hash", but I seek the same id in tradeblock and says that the transaction has not been confirmed. I check in my wallet in blockchain and shows no pending transaction, but in tradeblock shows that the value I sent is pending. Can someone explain to me what happened? It is normal that happen?
You're right, wallet online are quite unsafe compared the wallets desktop. But the amount sent was just my wallet XAPO for my wallet on the desktop
Has this resolved itself yet? Is the transaction showing properly now?

From what I see, you sent 260,000 bits from Xapo to your desktop wallet... and the transaction shows on Tradeblock explorer, but it is not showing on Blockchain.info explorer?

For those who mentioned it, I doubt the issue will be a fee problem. You can't specify a fee when using Xapo, as it is actually Xapo who are sending the bitcoins on your behalf. They tend to collate transactions, if possible, and send them out in one transaction from one of their addresses with "proper" fees attached.

Speaking from experience, this is also why searching for your Xapo wallet address in the blockchain probably won't show the transaction. The bitcoins don't get sent from your address... they get sent from one of Xapo's main addresses that they control (this is why Xapo is not a safe place to hold large amounts of Bitcoins... because you don't actually 'own' them... Xapo do and have full control over them). I had the exact same issue when I first moved from Xapo to Mycelium. I started freaking out when I couldn't see the transaction on blockchain.info explorer. Then I did a search for the receiving address and it showed up as being sent from some strange address that I didn't recognise.

Anyway, TLDR; what you need to do when looking for "send" transactions from a Xapo wallet is to search the blockchain for the receiving address that you sent the bitcoins to. This should show the pending inbound transaction.
10176  Other / MultiBit / Re: Trapped coins in Multibit on: July 17, 2016, 04:11:46 AM
Could you not just send a transaction of sufficient BTC size to cover the transaction fee (say >=0.015BTC) into the address and then transfer the whole lot (new amount + dust) out in another transaction to another address for which you have access to the private key?

PROs: you will have the private key for the new address, so can do whatever you want with it... ie. store offline, import into another wallet etc
CONs: you will need to pay two transaction fees to get the money into and then out of the Multibit wallet

Alternatively, you could always just start adding money to the address(es) until their balances become big enough to get them out economically. Maybe get a friend who wants to cash some coins out of somewhere (gambling/faucet/exchange account etc) to pass them through your account, picking up your tagged coins on the way.

I guess it all depends on how much value you place on these coins... if you want them badly enough, you'll cough up the ~0.0002BTC in transaction fees to get them out...  Tongue
10177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone else been watching the British Open (the open) Whos gonna win? on: July 16, 2016, 12:35:15 PM
My guess would be whoever gets the best weather!

Looks like, as usual, the weather is being a big factor again at a British Open. I am almost tempted to drop some money on Phil Mickelson, but the weather report for today at Royal Troon is only marginally better than the weather from yesterday. It could become a bit of a crap shoot and I suspect that we will see some fairly average scores again today... lot's of rounds of 1 or 2 under I would think.
10178  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: July 16, 2016, 10:30:09 AM
Did you get this issue resolved or is it still not displaying correctly?

It sounds like there is a bit of sync error somewhere along the line.

If refreshing the balances and transactions within the app doesn't work, then I would make sure you have your master seed (and any imported private keys) safely backed up... and try the following:

- Make sure you have the most up to date version of Mycelium. When was the last time you updated?
- Try backing all the way out of the app (using back button) and then clear it from the "Recent Apps" list to try and force it to restart.
- If that doesn't work, try clearing the app cache (Settings -> Apps -> Mycelium Wallet -> Storage). See if that helps at all.
- If that still doesn't help, try clearing the full app data. This will likely kill everything in the app (hence why you want to make sure you have everything backed up!). You can then just recreate your HD wallet using your backed up master seed (and re-importing any private keys again)
- Failing that, try uninstalling the app completely and then reinstalling. Restore using your backups.

If none of that helps... Then you'll need to file a bug report or something directly with the Mycelium peeps, because then it would seem like something deep in the app is broken.

10179  Economy / Gambling / Re: BookieBig launched! A telegram bot for betting bitcoins on sports - BTC GIVEAWAY on: July 16, 2016, 02:54:39 AM
This would explain why I hadn't seen it before then.

I'm not familiar with the Asian Handicap system. I've seen it mentioned a few times, but most of the services I have used have generally focused on what is being referred to as "Moneyline" options or standard spread betting with whole/half decimals (and other little side bets like first scorer etc)

Having gone away and done exactly what you suggested (yay for Google), I am now a lot more conversant with Asian Handicap... seems like a nice option having those 0.25s and .75s to offer you some cover for tight games that are likely to be a 1 point win or draw.

@bittysmalls, so are your 0.25s and 0.75s actual Asian Handicap odds and will payout appropriately?
10180  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Mobile wallet on: July 16, 2016, 12:30:05 AM
Mycelium is open source... so you might be able to edit the source code and add a "custom fee" option and recompile... if you have the knowledge or know someone who does and that you trust to be modifying the source code of your wallet. Wink

I've had a quick browse through, and their fee calculation seems to be done by estimating the fee based on the likely number of blocks you'll need to wait until it gets confirmed ie. LowPrio = 20 blocks, Economic = 10 blocks, Normal = 3 blocks, Priority = 1 block.

How this gets converted into an actual bitcoin amount I'm not 100% sure of at the moment... some magic involving their API I think (my java skills are a bit rusty)... whereby the size of your transaction is calculated and current "market" fee Per Kb is used or something...

However, theoretically, you could probably just add a text box or slider or whatever into the UI to set the value you want, and then just modify all the calls to createUnsignedTransaction() and pass in whatever value for the Miner Fee that you liked...

Theoretically...  Grin
