261  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: January 05, 2020, 09:12:12 AM
The reason why we must study economics in university because everyday in our life we always spend our money in exchange for goods and services, and of course paying our bills. Knowing about our economy will help you to understand how our economy work, what are the reasons why we pay taxes, and why there are inflation and deflation.
262  Economy / Economics / Re: Grandma tell you to keep old coin in piggy bank on: January 04, 2020, 07:29:55 PM
Remember your grandma told you??

She said the old coins you keep inside your piggy bank would fetch high values in future, but the old coins you keep inside your trusted bank service, $ 1000 would be still $ 1000 after 20 years??

Do you know how old America eagle coins fetch many folds higher values than its face value??

What happens??

Now let’s look at this:

Keep your bitcoin and shitcoin under the custodian bank service

Vs

Keep your bitcoin and shitcoin in your online wallet

After 20 years, what will happens to the value in your bank vs the value in the wallet, and why on the bank is still the same?

Now will you tell your grand grand kids the same advices your grandma tell you, “my sweet child’s, keep your shitcoin and it would fetch high value!”
Keeping your cryptocurrencies to yourself in a long-term will definitely give you a benefit because what if bitcoin have increased it's price more than $20K, then probably you would be really rich if that happens, that is why every crypto user always say have a patience to hold all of your holdings for you to see it's true value.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin experience in 2019 on: January 04, 2020, 06:34:50 PM
My bitcoin experience in 2019 was really not that good to me because in the month of February i need to sell out all of my bitcoins that i don't even have a choice because i need to use the money to pay all of our bills and support our daily needs. I loss a lot of profit in my tradings, good thing that my friend lend me some money and help me to trade and i started to participate in a signature campaign just to have crypto without any investment.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin fail if Satoshi is found? on: January 04, 2020, 06:02:29 PM
It's now 10 years since Bitcoin was created, yet many people are wondering who Satoshi Nakamoto might be. It's still today, where the creator of Bitcoin has hidden his/her identity well from the general public. All attempts in finding who created the world's most popular cryptocurrency have failed so far. But we all know that there's no such thing as 100% anonymity. A slight error in covering tracks, could expose your identity within the mainstream world.

Now, imagine if the real Satoshi's identity is found. If he/she is still alive, governments would be on his/her tail to put him/her in jail or even pay a hefty sum of taxes. Once this happens, Bitcoin might fail within the mainstream world. Of course, the community is what makes Bitcoin great. But I'm sure that the reveal of Satoshi's identity will have an influence (either positive or negative) over the cryptocurrency's price and reputation worldwide.

What are the odds of Bitcoin's survival once Satoshi is found? Will it continue to operate as is? Or will it fail in the long run? Huh
In my own point of view, bitcoin will not fail if Satoshi is found because it will definitely make a sudden improvement if that happens because it will be all over the news that everyone in the world would know about bitcoin that they will start to become interested to buy it. I think the only thing that government will do Satoshi is to ask questions about him just like what happened to Mark Zuckerberg, and make him to work with them.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: How the situation in Iran might impact Bitcoin on: January 04, 2020, 05:43:38 PM
I think the impact that iran may have on bitcoin is it could make it increase it's price just a little bit because people in iran might store their money in bitcoin just to save it until the battle between US government and Iran was finished. There are also some issues that not only bitcoin will increase it's price maybe some other cryptocurrency will have a sudden improvement to it's price due to Iran.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 04, 2020, 04:49:44 PM
ICO terminations in 2019 were unimaginably inadequate contrasted with 2018 August and October both had none, while January 2018 had 160 projects. All things considered, 2019 projects raised additionally funding on average $6.8 million contrasted with 2018 $132,000, still ICOs are losing popularity because of

1. Concerns with funded projects
2. Regulatory hurdles with selling the tokens
3. Crypto bear market
Most projects nowadays are really not successful especially ICO projects, that is why a lot of investors started to quit in investing their money cryptocurrencies because they are wasting a lot of money and time, and they didn't get any rewards to it. It is the reason why IEO projects does not have any potential to grow more further because we are lacking of investors today.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling on Mobile Devices on: January 03, 2020, 06:15:33 PM
Have you ever gambled from your mobile device (preferably smartphone)?

I know that some online gambling sites adapt themselves to mobile devices. But I'm talking about applications that you install on your phone which allow you to gamble anytime, anywhere. For Android, I've toppled with an app called "CoinPoker" which allows you to play Poker on the go with cryptocurrency. I'm sure there are other apps out there, but that's the only one I've found. For ETH-based gambling sites, I use the "Cipher" wallet to interact with them on my phone. Per my experience, it's much more convenient to gamble on a mobile device than a computer. But everyone has their unique preferences within the mainstream world.

If you happen to know of good Android apps which allow you gamble with crypto, please let me know. Also, feel free to share your experience when gambling using a mobile device. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
Based on my experienced, i always play crypto gambling at work if i am on a break time or i have a free time because it is a good way to spend your time and entertain yourself while you have nothing to do by just playing poker and other gambling games in a crypto casino. Anyways, the crypto that i have been playing is bitcasino which is accessible in mobile device and on pc by just easily opening your browser.
268  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: January 03, 2020, 05:54:18 PM
what I experience now is difficult for me to be able to get a big opportunity in my day trading, and the difficulty now is to be able to predict the price of altcoin, several times I make purchases of coins that I choose to trade tend to always go down, and I beg tips with all that there are those here who are proficient in day trading so that I can trade well and can benefit.
In my own point of view, it is really hard to be able to get a large amount of money in trading nowadays, especially if we are facing a bear market that it ia really hard to make a good decision just for us to earn good profit. Some of us cut our losses when our holdings our down, and some just hodl, it is already a proof that trading is a risk that whatever your decisions will be it might be bad if our holdings are really down.
269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin prices dropped so low a few days ago؟ on: January 03, 2020, 05:26:22 PM
Bitcoin price dropping over the past few days is just the common market movement. There is nothing to discuss much, growth happens when there is more inflow of fiat. I believed the drop during beginning days of the month a sign of growth. Same as expected today the price has once again recovered crossing $7200 from which the market dropped low to $7000.
Indeed. It's pretty normal for bitcoin to dropped it's price so low in the past few days. Good thing that bitcoin is starting to recover it's price up to $7200. In my own opinion, the reason why bitcoin is decreasing it's price due to the law of supply and demand that a lot of bitcoin users are selling their bitcoin in exchange for fiat.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: January 03, 2020, 02:25:06 PM
We all know paying taxes, getting married, and using banks makes us use a lot of money, but i don't think doing these things will not make us rich. If you really want to be rich, you should focus on the things you love or your passion because it will really make all of your dreams come true.
271  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin all over the Philippines on: January 02, 2020, 05:14:03 PM
272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good advice for every traders. on: January 02, 2020, 04:44:14 PM

believe in yourself and believe that everything you have done is a very appropriate decision. that is what must be embedded in sellers so that they are not always in fear. There is a saying, don't be afraid of failure, because failure is a step towards success. I strongly agree with the advice you say to record the reasons when opening a trade, maybe this will be a very valuable lesson for me, and can motivate me to be more careful in trading so that I can get the results as expected at the beginning of opening a trade.
Try and try until you suceed, there is no room for fear, you need to try all those things that might be helpful in your trading, loses in trading is normal, but a very huge one is bad. We need  a lot of patience so that we could wait till our sell order hits, long term holding is very crucial and we can be emotional when waiting for our coin to pump.

there are times when we really need to have a strong belief in ourselves in trading, because sometimes the advice and input obtained from others may not always be able to minimize losses. however, we must be able to bear all the risks we will face in the trade that we do.
Yeah, every trader should have a strong belief in his abilities and it’s not good for them to walk on the wrong path just because other people are guiding them so traders should keep their eyes open while choosing projects. It’s traders own responsibility to know the right time for buying and for trading but don’t listen to other people for trading.
Listening to other people's advice sometimes give you good and bad decisions, so just get those some good ideas and don't use them all. You can't live all alone, so we still need others help but not all situations you can rely on them. We can do all trading with our own, and if you find it difficult just prefer to choose long term trading instead of quick trading.
If you have difficulties in managing your portfolio and watching the charts it will be better if you choose long term trading instead of daily trading because daily trading is riskier and it is a lot of work actually, especially if you can't control your emotions because you might end up having more losses than earning.
273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good sign for market on: January 02, 2020, 04:05:48 PM
Not really a good sign, nor is it a bad one. Is just eh, pretty normal I'd say. Bitcoin may rise or fall, nothing new there, it is Bitcoin after all. You ca't really base signs off past performances of BTC, especially since the last 4 years could be said to be a regulation period of BTC on its bubble of 2017. Could even be said that it actually just finished by the start of 2019, and only the entire year of 2019 was the progress or the growth of Bitcoin that actually contained foundation and is stabilized unlike in the past 3 years.

It might be good but like what we've been saying about the attitude of bitcoin, this isn't an easy thing to predict and the usual term that we use to say with that is that it's unpredictable. And if we compare it with the 2017 bull run, this time it wasn't like that. We've seen that bitcoin isn't good at the end of 2019 and we're more dropping instead of pumping. We can't assure that the good days base on your satisfaction but we'll have it just like the usual days and we're hoping that it will be better than last year.
Could be though. Could be not. Generally it should cause it decreasing the constant supply being produced means that demand would now rise higher compared to the past. Though could actually have no effect at all, but a negative one? I don't suppose so.
Indeed. There are really no any good signs that i see recently because the movement of the price of bitcoin seems normal to me, and it doesn't make any unpredictable movement recently, that is why i am still hoping that notcoin woyld really increase it's price so i could earn a good profit this year.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: January 02, 2020, 03:39:18 PM
I see contradicting statements to your last sentences. You said you wanted to introduce Bitcoin to those people that are not connected to the Internet, or offline. So, even if you succeed telling them about bitcoin, you'll have a hard time explaining them the concept because they might lack computer and internet literacy. And one thing to add is how will they access and interact actively to the Bitcoin network when they're mostly offline.

It will be really difficult to introduce to people about bitcoin who are not connected to internet or offline, especially for those people who haven't use a computer or a smartphone in their entire life because they cannot follow us when we start explaining it to them. We should only introduce people about bitcoin if they are really interested to it and they have knowledge about computer and they can go online? So that we don't have any problems explaining it to them.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any change this year? on: January 02, 2020, 02:47:13 PM
What are you going to do with 2020, give up or continue to survive.
In my own opinion, there will be a change this year because i see a lot of predictions that bitcoin halving will occur this year, so i believe that every cryptocurrencies will increase it's prices again, especially bitcoin that hopefully it could reach to $20,000 again. That is why i will hold all of my coins until it increase all of it's value.
276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: January 01, 2020, 04:55:11 PM
I only trade only for a week or a momth because i am only a long term trader, which i don't do any daily trades because it is really difficult and a huge risk, even you may earn much huger profit because it is also difficult to manage your trades, especially if you have work that you don't know what will you do first.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: January 01, 2020, 04:26:48 PM
My mistakes in cryptocurrency are mostly in trading, which i buy coins in a higher price then i will sell it in a cheap price that i always panic sell when it was my first time in trading that i can't really control my emotions when my holdings is starting to drop. I also experience forgetting my password in my wallet account that i really panic, good thing i find the note that i wrote all of my passwords especially my wallet.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin never reaches a new ATH? on: January 01, 2020, 03:59:36 PM
Ever since strict regulations were introduced in 2017, we've seen a substantial decline in Bitcoin's price across the market. It's believed that 2017 was the year where Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies went "mainstream" as many people adopted them for their own benefit. The introduction of new regulations, ETFs, futures trading, and Bitcoin forks (BCH, BSV, etc.) could've had an impact over Bitcoin's price. Whales could be manipulating Bitcoin's price as we know, preventing the pioneer cryptocurrency for reaching new All-time-highs in price.

Imagine if every Bitcoin halving, prices would remain the same or lower than they were before. This would turn out to be completely unsustainable for miners, resulting in decreased security of the Bitcoin blockchain. Of course, the way Bitcoin was designed tells us that price should be going up over time. But I've seen how regulations and events in the mainstream world have negatively impacted Bitcoin's price to a point where it has taken a very long time to rise back up to its original levels. It's been almost 2 years since a bear market occurred (2018), and could last longer as we know it.

As it's said, "Patience is a virtue". We as "hodlers" of Bitcoin should be patient in order to see better results in the future. But, what if Bitcoin never reaches a new ATH? Then, I'm afraid that most people "hodling" Bitcoin will lose all of their investment in the long run.

What are your thoughts? Huh
We need to keep are hopes high that bitcoin will reach it's new ATH in 2020 or in the future because if bitcoin didn't reach its new ATH a lot of people would really upset and disappointed that they will stop buying bitcoin and they will lose their patience that they will sell it.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery In Your Place on: January 01, 2020, 03:30:24 PM
Hello everyone,

i'm currious about lottery / lotto/ 4D games

i usually play 4D lotto from Indonesia Online Site using Fiat called GBET8

i very love to play on Singapore Lottery in there, i just want to know how about others country except Indonesia and Singapore.

Do you love to play lottery like this also ?

and any bitcoin lottery site who have singapore toto or lotto 4D like in GBET8 ?

thank you all
I am not a huge fan of lottery because winning to a lottery has a very low chance that winning to it is really impossible, that is why i intend not to play to lottery that i only play card games at the casino and in a online casino because there are more better chances for me to win in card games than lottery.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: January 01, 2020, 02:41:28 PM
In my own opinion, it could be possible that the world would run cryptocurrencies because i heard that there are stores all over the country who are already accepting crypto as payment, and people would still used fiat in some of their transactions when paying bills, so there would be no any problem when it comes to the economy of a country, yet there are still countries who are not favorable with crypto, so it will take long for crypto to be used in the real world.
