861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why people do not get Bitcoin. on: March 09, 2017, 02:08:37 AM
There are many, many reasons why people don't get Bitcoin or don't believe in bitcoin.
For some of them is difficult to accept that virtual money is future money.
Others don't trust in bitcoin because it's decentralized and without government control.
For some people bitcoin is only possibility for fast profit and they think it will end soon.
How many bitcoin users honestly believe in the bright future of bitcoin?
It's very hard to say.

They do not know how to accept bitcoin is our new currency in the future. Many people doesn't use bitcoin because they knew that this bitcoin will somehow nothing value for them. But they didn't know that this bitcoins is have a high value that can lead them to a progressive life. One more reason why people do not get bitcoin is that they never accept the risk of their investment, they only want it but they do not work for it. Nothing will happen if they didn't learn how bitcoin works they only go with losing and losing eventhough they invest larger amount of money. And they will never earn or gain the specific amount they want. Goodluck Bitcoiners! Smiley
862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one will you used? on: March 08, 2017, 06:10:26 PM
there are a lot of us demand shop that accepting bitcoin as payment, but from this forum i found out that there are some people unwilling to spend their bitcoin, so I want to asked If you found a shop that accepted bitcoin and fiat as payment, which one will you used?

if you are using bitcoin then maybe today 1 apple is 0.0008 btc , but tomorrow with 0.0008 btc you can buy 2 apples, but if no one used bitcoin for shopping then there won't be any shop that will adopting bitcoin anymore

so what will be you choice?
I want to used bitcoin for shopping because I want to buy what I want instantly without exchanging it into legal money but before that happens, bitcoin need to adopt in the country. Sadly, there is no shop for bitcoin payment in our country for now and I hope it will be adopted in our country sooner.

I prefer using bitcoin because it is very famous nowadays. We all know that bitcoin is used by many people in different countries. Eventhough that some countries doesn't support bitcoins we can say that if they will study how bitcoin works and what are the advantages of using it, it will make them to realize that bitcoin is a good one and very helpful thing when it comes to fast transactions in online buying and some stores. It is hassle free and no need to bring some high amount money. Bitcoin is a very helpful currency and it helps many people nowadays to have a good earnings and some people may get rich becausw of it having a high value that continuous increasing. 863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: March 08, 2017, 05:11:23 PM
I voted yes, I own multiple btc.

The reason why most of you don't have 1 btc is because it's too complicated, Coinbase is under IRS discovery legal proceeding so all you who purchased bitcoins there will have your tax audited, btc has become too expensive, and it's way too speculative, you can lose your shirts overnight.
All of that's true, of course, but none of it is the reason why I don't own a whole bitcoin.  I did, and I sold it.  I also lended some dork-ass part of a bitcoin and got burned.  And now that Circle doesn't sell bitcoin I'm having somewhat of a hard time actually buying any.  Oh well.

Sadly No. Sad Because I don't know exactly what is the best strategy in earning 1 btc. I don't know how to stored and at the same time use it so that when I use it at the same timw it will earn and stored. Bitcoin for me is a hard thing but exciting and very challenging. I started last year and work hard for 1 btc but I guess my hardwork doesn't enough because I'm not able to gain 1 btc. But with the help of my friends that is very art when it comes to bitcoin I guess this year I will have a chance to earn 1 btc and my goal is set to that. When I earn 1 btc I will use it very wisely and very limited to some things that may cause it to get lost. Goodluck Bitcoiners! Smiley
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: March 08, 2017, 11:30:27 AM
Actually i never saw a man, who has rich from Gambling?
I m not playing gambling because i saw a lot of people who has lost everything in gambling.
So i want to ask if anyone is here how has rich from GAMBLING ??

Dan Bilzerian ( https://www.instagram.com/danbilzerian/?hl=en)

You can see that he is a billionaire from Poker game.
I think in order to win the gamble, you need some luck and strategic game also alot of guts
Dan Bilzerian is just washing his dad's dirty money with poker.

I cannot say that I am rich because of gambling but I do earn by gambling but not as high as a ordinary job could give but I guess it's just a matter of my hardwork. I never heard about a person get rich because of gambling. But I heard about a rich man became poor because of gambling. They didn't use their gold in smart way they only do gambling and gambling. They didn't realize or even know what is the consequences of being addict in gambling. For me, no one will get rich in gambling but I can say that anyone can earn in gambling but not as good as the good way could give as a profit. Goodluck Bitcoiners! Smiley
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: March 08, 2017, 09:07:43 AM
My worst moment in gambling is when I am playing poker with my friends and we are wagering real money for it. And when it's already late night, my mom did went to that house and able to witness what I've been doing all that time. Because when I'm going outside, I'm not informing her that I'll play poker and that's disgusting because she humiliated me that time in front of my friends.

That's why if you want to go out of the house would have to ask permission from your parents, or at least you told them you were going to go out. My experience is almost the same but not gamble, I've been scolded by my father because I play online games for too long and was not in the right time. He scolded me in front of my friends. Since then I've stopped playing. And if at that time I was gambling like you, he'll be more angry.

Just like that my worst gambling experience  in gambling is that where playing in the school because it is recess but suddenly our teacher came up and exactly we're playing cards. She caught us and we went to the guidance. Our parent's we're called and thank god we are not suspended but I didn't repeat that again. About the gambling in bitcoin. I have this worst experience of gambling bitcoins. I was start playing bitsler and start with the price of 0.00005 btc. And suddenly I won over 0.001 btc bu t when I was called by my Mom and she told me to do something I leave my bitlser in autodice and when I came back my 0.001 became 0.0000001 quickly then I didn't play anymore. :3 Goodluck to those playing Dice.  Smiley
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: March 08, 2017, 05:37:37 AM
maybe your fried is not familiar with the concept of calculator or maybe he doesn't know what hack a bitcoin wallet means!

either way, you should have told him bitcoin survived from 2008-9 till now without being hacked the way he thinks and it will continue being OK until there is a big advancement in the quantum computers front.

To me, bitcoin is not hackable; however, the bitcoin network might be hackable. So the question should be "how strong is bitcoin network?"

And Bitcoin network is vulnerable like any other network so there is no such thing as 100% security. We all have to be aware of this.

i don't know what you two mean but i am only aware of these and i doubt we can exactly call any of them "hacks"

As we can see Bitcoin is very strong nowadays. In a way that person by person accept to use bitcoin and some buy bitcoins because of it's increasing high value. Bitcoin is very famous nowadays in many people because some of it are used by not only ordinary people but it is used by different businessman, politicians and even government employees. We can say that bitcoin is very strong because it is very concrete to the use of people. They use bitcoins to earn profits in able to sustain their everyday needs and other is to achieve their wants and not just only wants but in able to give to others and to help others. We cannot say how long bitcoin will live but it's up to those who people used. That's all. Goodluck Bitcoiners! Smiley
867  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: March 08, 2017, 04:22:14 AM
yeah bitcoin really very good investment for now because bitcoin price is very stable and good to buy and there is a huge number of people are going to increase its price too much faster in the near future and i hope we will be get a good profit from bitcoin .

Ok let me complete the Sentence. Bitcoin is a good investment now, because ... Bitcoin is the emerging digital currency which will be adopted by masses in the future. and currently very few people world wide know about this currency.

Bitcoin is a good investment because we are getting some benefits like price increase easy to use when we are buying things online that accepting bitcoin as payment.. bitcoin for me is always good to choose to invest and you can make more profit if you hold more bitcoins for a long time.

Because I think the value of bitcoin now will give you a very very good profit and bitcoin investors are surely legit but not always. Investing bitcoins will surely gives us what we want and investment is not very hard because all you have to do is to put some bitcoins in it and work for that. Bitcoins is developing each day and somehow in the future it will become more good that every people will use it to investments for their own profits. And according to others the price of bitcoin will get high as high as $ 2000 or even more. Many people will encourage to invest if that happens. And some will get rich if that will work and others might have to get invest in able to be updated to what is the good invesment of bitcoins. Goodluck Bitcoiners! Smiley
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: March 08, 2017, 04:03:46 AM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.

Im saving bitcoin for the purpose of maximizing my financial status. The use of it may be on primary or secondary use which also include the miscellaneous things. Right now since I have my day job, it's really a wiser way for me to just saved my bitcoin and use my fiat earnings to take care of my regular spendings.

And since Im looking forward in bitcoin by long term purposes, it's really making sense if I will just use my bitcoin whenever I needed it.

First it's a big YES, I save bitcoins and for me I do it because of future purposes. We all know the value of bitcoin today and it is very high value. I save bitcoins so that in the future if the value became high I can use it in some things that will sustain my life. Bitcoins nowadays accepted in some shops and establishments because we all know that it is very good and very easy and hassle free when it comes to transactions. And for me when the time comes in the future there will be a moment that all shops and establishments will accept bitcoins as a currency just like the real money today. No one will ever know if bitcoim will die in the future but for me I guess it would not die as long as there are many users. Goodluck Bitcoiners. Smiley
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: March 06, 2017, 11:00:18 AM
Guys I know that there are previous posts and polls regarding the highly suggested source of bitcoin but things always change do I want to know what is the current best source of bitcoin nowadays. Please participate on this poll and kindly tell us why that's your choice. Thanks in advance and God bless us more Wink

I personally choose others, it's means from service which I selling for bitcoin (this is should be on the option list). Nowadays there are pretty much company or group business who need a worker, servicer, or freelancer to doing a job, you can look at service section or service marketplace.

Well another choice I prefer to trading, although I just do a trade sometimes(I need to learn more), it's worth than investing to cloudmining, hyip, ect. Unless investing in gambling bankroll is pretty worth i think.

Nowadays, For me I think there are 3 source of income of bitcoins. First and mostly use of bitcoin income is gambling. People gamble or choose gambling because of easy way of income and the most fast income of money. Many people use this way and make themelselves put in danger of losing all of their income. Lots of person became rich in here but many doesn't. Second is by Trading or Buy an Selling. People use this strategy because of good income that may give to them. All you need is to sure that your transaction is legit and not scam. Because once you're scammed all of your money will gone. Last and for me the most effective source of bitcoin is by joining signature campaign. You just need to make your answer more helpful to others. Goodluck Bitcoiners. Smiley
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: March 06, 2017, 02:55:42 AM
When do you stop? Do you have a daily limit or something?

you should stop when you are ahead.
for example when you have won some good amount and when you are in profit you should quit because if you keep continuing then you will end up losing all you have earned so far.

also it is a good idea to set a limited amount for yourself and stick to that amount and never get over it. for example there are some people who will deposit more if they lose what they have deposited first.

Ofcourse in ganbling there are times that you nned to stop. The best thing to observe when to stop is your money already doubled or even if you get a half of your money. In that case you will no longer need to deposit and deposit again. In that strategy you will play and at the same time you will earn. It's just a matter of strategy when playing gambling and we all know that even if gambling gives you a good profit soon it will cause you to lose everything you have. So I will said it to you. If you already win doubled or half of your money. Stop and take a rest. Then tomorrow try again and follow again the strategy in able to make a good profit and avoid losing all of your money even your capital. Goodluck Bitcoiners. Smiley
871  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Gambling trickss!!! on: March 06, 2017, 02:34:54 AM
Sino po may alam jan paturo po

Salamat 😂😂😂😂

Oo nga naman...this is to make sure na less and risk and stress mo hehehe. Gambling is just luck and probablilties.

Di po un ang martingale, ang martingale pag natalo doblehin mo ang tinaya. Double on lose

Goodluck Bitcoiners. Smiley
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: March 04, 2017, 03:15:46 PM
I really dont think that there is a person that became rich from gambling. It is very hard for you to have that kind of luck to get rich in that instant. This will require you a lot of losses and failures due gambling will make you loose you everything you have not just money. Playing money you should be smart enough for you to end up not empty handed for its very difficult to renew your funds.

I think it is possible to get rich by Gambling. But i don't think it is a easy and good idea because we all know that gambling is not fair. It has a strategy and it is very unfair. First, you will gain and gain but afterwards all of your earnings even if it is doubled or tripled will lost until nothing will left from your earnings. But ofcourse if you want to get rich you need some strategy and you have to know when to stop gambling if you're earning. Gambling is a easy and fast way to get earn yet it is fast way of losing too. All I can say to people who use bitcoin is ro make themselves more strategic and I didn't force them to stop but they must think what is good and better way or safe way to earn than gambling. 873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: March 04, 2017, 10:19:09 AM
So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?

Apart from trading, there is very little that you can do to multiply your bitcoins. And even in trading, you should still be very cautious and wary because your precious bitcoins can be stolen by an exchange itself. Maybe, you could start a business or a service
At a moment Poloniex is the best site for trading as I am trading there since long time and I never faced any issue till date, but yes there is no guarantee that it will survive forever.

Poloniex had issues with security in the past. Some sly user managed to withdraw his funds several times, that was lame on the exchange part. After that they evenly distributed the loss among all their clients as if the clients had been guilty in the theft. Doesn't look quite professional, does it? We don't know what other holes may also be there.

I think Poloniex is the best site for trading eventhough that I didn't even try onve of it but according to my friends that using it. But i heard too that Poloniex had a issue these past few days
But i know that Poloniex will fix it because many people invest in them because of their good maintanance, quality of website and a good income. And ofcourse you need to invest in some bussiness that had a good income. For example, in bussiness that can double your money or even triple and make a good relationship and sure that it is not a scam. You nned to ensure that so that you avoid being fall down because of one mistake. Goodluck to all bitcoiners that will invest. Smiley
874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: March 04, 2017, 05:33:28 AM
Bitcoin is usually used by people interested in technology. I mean, persons with a certain technical knowledge are interested in bitcoin.

My observations are that way. I think Bitcoin needs to reach larger quantities. Can use bitcoin in people who are not interested in technology?
Can people use the bitcoin in the profession group like tradesmen, teachers, housewives, firemen, butchers? Are we going to see the days that these people use bitcoin?

first there needs to be some place they can "use" bitcoin at. if we want to talk about usage. then if there is a place to use bitcoin just the way there is a place to use credit card, even if "regular citizens" don't understand the technology behind bitcoin they can use it with their phone Apps, with their third party services that make it easier and so on.

Yes it can increase the usage rate. People do not need to know about the technical infrastructure. Simple ease of use that people need. For example, anyone can shop with credit card without knowing their technical infrastructure. It is practical and easy to shop with credit card. The use rate will increase if bitcoin is a develop application in this way.

Yes ofcourse. Bitcoin is just like a real money there are no limits or there are no requirements in using bitcoin. Any people can use bitcoin. It just a matter if a person is working hard and a person had a interest and knowledge about how to earn bitcoin while using it. Bitcoin is just like a real money but it has a high value so that if a person can handle bitcoin he can used it. Even single person a student, senior or even ordinary person can use it in able to make earnings and in able to sustain their everyday needs. So if a person is full of strategies, you're qualified in using bitcoin and if you earning it now. Be sure to invest it so that while you are using it, you earning it. Goodluck to all bitcoiners! Smiley
875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving bitcoins on: March 04, 2017, 01:16:50 AM
That's a good question.  Due to the design of bitcoin, it is a bit difficult to "loan" them (remember that banking is effectively a loan where the bank pays you interest).

Now, that's more on the theoretical side of things.  In practice, a major problem with loans in Bitcoin are the volatile price.  If the price rises suddenly, it could become more difficult to pay back interest; or alternatively if the price takes a heavy drop, the investor may lose money as what he is paid is less valuable now than it was at initial investment.
why is it difficult? it is the same as lending money. when someone files for a loan, bank reviews their application takes a collateral and gives the loan and then takes it back on intervals.
and price is no matter, because they lend bitcoin and receive bitcoin. and this can only happen in the future when mass adoption happened and price is already high and stable.

it is like lending USD and then USD price going down versus another currency!! that has no effect on how lending goes.

Quote
Bitcoins are not fiat, and therefore, can not be continuously printed.  Because of this, no one can guarantee to indefinitely keep paying out interest on loaned coins.  A horribly exaggerated example, just to make a point, is that if I somehow had 20,000,000 bitcoins in a bank, they could never pay me more than 1,000,000 total in interest just because of the limited supply.
bad example. if someone has 20 mil coins it means bitcoin is dead since 1 person controls all the supply and nobody takes a loan Cheesy

Good points, BTCLovingDude.  I'm not sure I follow what you mean with regards to the USD price being less than another currency.  If you loan USD and are getting paid back in USD, I'm afraid I can't see where the "other currency" comes into play.  In my example, I meant a "pure" bitcoin loan where you loan X bitcoins and get Y coins back at regular intervals in interest, without translating to another currency.

As for part 2, guilty as charged.  That is a bad example indeed.  It was hyperbole to make my point.  If there are only 21 million bitcoins in existece, and we're not continually printing them up, we can't guarantee interest back on investments indefinitely.  Of course, short term investments should work just fine.

It's a good idea. Must work hard in able to save bitcoins. Bitcoins is such a beautiful idea kind of new currency. With bitcoin it has many advantages. If you start saving now in the future the value of it will be raise and if you already have many in the future you will be a millionaire. And it's because of your hardwork and patience. You'll be able to sustain you everyday need and probably in the future you'll able to buy all the things that you want. But remember if you saving bitcoin, don't forget to make a bussiness or investing it so that even if your using it still it earns and double. Goodluck to all who wish to save bitcoins. Smiley

Smiley
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: March 03, 2017, 12:40:22 PM
How many threads similar to this have been posted? Huh

Back to the topic, nowadays I only play for fun and not for profit, knowing that I am really not lucky in those kind of games. However, in a month or two, I might start gambling for profit again (the Internationals on dota 2 which I am very fond of).
yeaaa first of all I want to criticize op action lately , he created over and over again a thread questioning similar things.
however it is okay as long as the topic are truly different and genuine.
most people have a reason to have fun but for me it is a lie , they need money and they gamble.

Both. People use to gamble to make profit while having fun. Because in the first place gambling for me is a matter of making fun. For me, it is made so that people have killing of time if they're not doing anything. But for the people who are very greed in earning they forget to always think that gamble is made only for fun. But for me the main reason is to have fun and at the same time is to make my capital for bussiness bigger. And ofcourse I don't relt only on gambling because we all know that gambling make all of our profit loose and make us to play more for us to get what is lost but we ended up lost and soon nothing will left. And even our capital will lost and we will get poor and nothing to start for a bussiness. Smiley
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: March 03, 2017, 10:47:17 AM
I've read here a lot about "Gambling doesn't make you rich" So I thought about it, and it does make sense. So what do you feel about gambling then? Just entertainment? I think that's not everybody's mindset.

In the back of my mind, I want to be rich but not because of gambling. But when I gamble, I still always want to win. So when you always win, you become more rich and more risk will be involved. Anyway, if I would earn a winning bet that would have a lot of profit from, I would withdraw the initial bet or the bitcoins I deposited to get it back, then still gamble.

If you would have a winning bet that would give you a lot of profit, what would you do with it?

I always dont get profit.Sometimes i got few btc by gambling. If i get huge profit from gambling then i will try to buy some digital goods on online through bitcoin.Again,i will spend some money on my late night party.I dont wanna save those on cold wallet because i have enough money to cheers! Grin

When it comes to gamblin it's just a matter of luckiness. When you became lucky in the first place you'll gonna win but if you ain't getting any luckiness, you need to shut it down. In my experience, there's only one time that I won in gambling my small amount of bitcoin became big and then ofcourse because of my greed of winning that time I lose all of it in just an hour. In my opinion, if you earn luckiness and won in gambling better to usw it in good way. Invest it in some bussiness, trade with someone and probably make some bussiness that you'll earn. Because that was how you will earn. If you earn, use it to earn more. Life goes on just like your earnings. Smiley
879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: March 03, 2017, 06:31:33 AM
There were already some cryptocurrencies (very small altcoins) that "died" - that means, the blockchain doesn't grow anymore because there are no users (=users with running full nodes). Example: TGCoin.

That would be the most probable scenario for a "dead Bitcoin", too. No demand, no users, no transactions. The "why" question would not be that relevant - it could be a better cryptocurrency or - a bit sci-fi - less need to use money for everyday life, or a much better technology than cryptos (e.g. a kind of artificial intelligence which manages our needs). It would not be dramatic, just boring - "the last Bitcoiner" will power off the light, most probably without anyone noticing it.

Another scenario would be a severe software bug. That could be much more dramatic, because it's very probable that there would be still people trying to use it. Although in this case if the bug can be solved, the blockchain can be started again, although there would be, for sure, a big price crash. This also already occured in some altcoins (e.g. Slimcoin).

I think bitcoin will die in the way that there is no people that using it. No one is saving it because of its low value. If bitcoin value will fall because of some instances it will have a big impact on it. People will fall down and their bussiess as well will fall. People that are rich when it comes to bitcoin will now get poor and people that has no bussiness will work hard for their family in order to earn for their everyday need. In other words, bitcoin will die if it's value will fall down and people will stop using it and it will cause some instances that will make a certain person poor and not to sustain their everyday need. not sure are you talking about buying products or only buying bitcoin. for buying products with bitcoin is an good idea  ,  if some shops allows bitcoin to buy product directly from wallet or bitcoin debit card is good thing for the bitcoin industry . i seen on this forum some threads mentions about bitcoin debit card and buying products on shop Smiley.
He is talking about bitcoin buy and sell with fiat currency.Like in London have a shop where you can buy or sell bitcoin with pounds similarly as in Shanghai you can buy or sell bitcoin with Yuan.I would be great if every big cities have a shop like this.people will be most encourage to use bitcoin.

Do these shops provide any other services? Buying/selling BTC only doesn't sound like a robust business model.

It would be perfect if all the 'money shops' (where you can exchange currency, cash cheques, sometimes buy/sell gold etc) started trading BTC. Seems like a natural choice. Could work well especially at the airports where there's potentially a lot of people with some foreign currency cash left-overs which they could use to buy small amounts of bitcoins out of curiosity.
I think it will be a good idea besides many people nowadays using bitcoin. We need to go with the flow of our society. Today many people have accounts of bitcoins. If bitcoins will legally accepted in shops in cities they will be able to use their coins for buying their needs without bringing some money to them. They only need internet and phones. And it will make them hassle free because of easy and fast transaction in paying the things you buy even in internet. Bitcoin has a high value so if some shops accept it, I think their profit will double and sometimes quadruple. This bitcoin idea is good to us so we must accept it and use it in a good way. Goodluck Guys! Smiley
