641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is everyone feeling going into Aug 1? on: July 28, 2017, 09:59:06 PM
Do you have any concerns for Tuesdays split?

I"m personally a little worried a lot of people could lose bitcoins due to replay attacks.
Just because we do not know yet of what will happen within the split or do not know what will be the effect of the upcoming split event a couple of days right now, I think it is just normal to worry about it because the assurance to succeed or not is not yet visible due to the reason that there is no update about that event to happen. But still hoping that this event will be a positive factor with a positive effect to lessen all the doubts and worry in all our minds.
642  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 28, 2017, 09:52:14 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
I cannot just go all in with just one count between bitcoin and gold because there will be some instances that these two will be beneficial in different matter. So I will just put up first a half of my wealth on both bitcoin and gold while observing of which is the most capable for long term saving, useful and can give me more earning depending on the behavior of the environment. Bitcoin is beneficial with the use of internet but what if after a couple of years with a sudden chaos internet can be abducted so I have my gold with me. And if the technology rises and somewhat gold is not that valuable anymore, I can have my bitcoin with me.
643  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: July 28, 2017, 09:42:54 PM
Let's say I have 2.1 BTC And I don't spend it. Will it go up a few cents if I save it? Cause in my wallet I have up to about 50 cents worth of bitcoin. I started up with 13 cents 7 months ago. Now all of sudden I have bitcoins worth 50 cents. What do you call this? I only made that one 13 cent deposit. Nothing else!
If I would have such a great count of bitcoin in my wallet, I would be gladly save it for future purposes because we cannot say when or where we will be needing such great count. In the other hand, if I will spend it, I will just spend some for important matters or spend it through investments that can somewhat add up into my current earning of bitcoin.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: July 27, 2017, 08:58:01 PM
What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

* Work offline 100%
* No fees.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micropayments
* 0 confermations time
* 0 exchange risks
* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment
Indeed. Cash is much better with those reasons because there are still countries that are not yet popular with bitcoin so they still prefer the usage of cash instead of using bitcoin in terms of payment purposes especially on business establishments. Also, it is better to use cash in an instance because it is available and can be seen on your own wallet without a need of having internet access to pay. Cash is still the most valuable thing that is accepted in many places to be use for many purposes.
645  Economy / Economics / Re: When to buy and sell bitcoin on: July 27, 2017, 08:42:54 PM
When is the best time to buy bitcoin and when do you think is the best time to sell?
I think its a great time to buy now but when is a good time to sell (if you have any idea please share)
Most strategical way that every bitcoin user have when talking about selling and buying is based on their observation. Many are keep updated and observing the latest status of bitcoin's price in the market and see how it will behave and how long does it take. In buying bitcoins you must wait for the moment wherein bitcoin's price dump. You must wait a little bit longer and see if the price would continuously dump and see if the price dump would satisfy your standard and budget on buying bitcoin. On selling, you must be wise and careful for you not to regret that you have sold your bitcoin too early or too late. This must be an instinct that you may use to be able to sell your bitcoins just in time that the perfect price pump happens.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid of August One? on: July 27, 2017, 02:31:50 PM
We are already in July and August 1 is coming...the day when Segwit would start signalling for all and what will happen after this date is something many fear of. Will there be a split and what will happen on the split?

I have already read some assurance that at the current rate things are doing, the possibility for a split is getting remote. Maybe the overarching interest of all stakeholders has already dawned to many.
For an instance, the upcoming day of August 1 which is just less than a week from now is quite alarming because we still do not know anything or what will be the exact happening after the SegWit that will happen on August 1. What we just have  to do is to wait patiently until the said event is done and see what will be the impact of that event to the current status of bitcoin. Let us just stay calm and trust that everything will be turning back into normal or just expect for greater things to happen.
647  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 27, 2017, 01:08:12 PM
I recently paid for some local tacos using Bitcoin. My friend who was unfamilar with Bitcoin thought it was strange, like I technically didn't pay for them or something. We got into discussing Bitcoin and one of the questions he asked me was:
"Why would you want Bitcoins instead of cash?". For a second I didn't know what to say; then I thought about it and here is what I came up with. Feel free to contribute to this.

1) More security (especially if you are careful).

2) Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not. Paper currency only really goes down in value, Bitcoins have a lot of potential to be worth more as time goes on.

3) Fast, worldwide transactions at your fingertips.

4) Similar to #3, but it's a universal currency. It's legal in most countries of the world and you don't need any kind of currency conversion to send money to people in a different country than your own.
Indeed. Bitcoin is better than cash in a way that you can easily have your transaction that fast as you think without waiting longer time as long as you pay the right amount of transaction fee. It is also handy because you can store bitcoin within your electronic wallet even a very large amount can do. Also bitcoin's price pump provides the capability to uphold your money for more profit.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: July 27, 2017, 09:59:04 AM
Weeks ago, I am discussing Bitcoin to my sister and my future brother-in-law (then) When they got married recently, both of them were unemployed and have been trying to get a job immediately after their marriage. Up until now they have no luck. My sister then decided to talk to me about how do I earn Bitcoins. I gladly explained it to her and then she decided to do it too. She was so happy that she is already earning bitcoin and had some extra budget while they are both unemployed. And now, she is so eager to learn more how to earn more coins.

Being unemployed drove her into engaging to Bitcoins. Maybe some people are like this. They grab Bitcoin when they are in need of money. And since that these people are now engaged in Bitcoin, I am sure that they will stay in Bitcoin and treat it as an investment even though they will have a decent paying jobs in the future.
People tend to experiment or try anything just to earn money even to take a risk. Maybe it can really drove anyone to be engage with bitcoin especially those who are unemployed because they can have at least a source of income but it takes time before they can earn. So better find a job as well and do not just depend on bitcoin's benefits. But as for now, it is sufficient to got engage with bitcoin that truly shows that because of unemployment and need of money, many will be attracted to go with bitcoin to earn money.
649  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: July 27, 2017, 09:47:23 AM
Hi, I was wondering if I should quit my job and focus more on bitcoins? Because I think it might get me even richer without a job?  Grin
I bet that you must focus on both things specifically bitcoin and your job. Do not be dependable on bitcoin's benefits because it cannot sustain all your needs continuously because investments and campaigns take time before you can earn. In your job, you are secure that you can get a handy money to sustain yourself so better do your job while getting into bitcoin so that you can have more profit.
650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: July 25, 2017, 09:16:02 PM
bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable.

currency should be more stable.

you may reply me. currency is not stable also but you should think

USD currency price is up and down 1-2% in 1 month.

bitcoin price is up and down 20% in 1 month.

what will people think if they just change USD to bitcoin then their money down 10% in 10 minutes?

bitcoin can become stock but cannot become currency
Change is inevitable in an all way round because it is present in everything. Bitcoin is just starting to established and maintained that is why its price is not yet that stable. That thing also happens within other currencies on the first time they were established due to adjustments and improvement because no currency is that perfect when first established. That what is also happening within bitcoin because it is still new, it undergo certain adaptation and maintenance that is why the price value is still unstable but as time passes by, it can be stable due to the fact that it already have adapted and evolve. So we cannot say yet that bitcoin cannot be a currency just because it is unstable.
651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: July 25, 2017, 09:07:13 PM
What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
Bitcoin are being hold by many people due to the reason that it can provide income to support financial needs and at the same time, people trust bitcoin to uphold their money because bitcoin is making it possible for the money to grow with its large price pump and also bitcoin is widely proven and trusted that is why people are still holding into bitcoin because of its benefits and being true.
652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: July 25, 2017, 08:43:39 PM
https://www.deepdotweb.com/2016/01/23/bitcoin-playing-an-increased-role-in-crime-europol-says/

Would you believe that the existence of bitcoin has increased the number of criminality in  some countries in the world. This is the issue that was being thrown by the EuroPol and the UK Metropolitan Police. According to them bitcoin has played a huge role on the increasing criminality in their area. They added that a huge number of cybercriminals were using bitcoins in their activities.

This just shows that as bitcoin develops both advantages and disadvantages will tag along.
Anything that humans have invented for certain purposes can do really have advantages and disadvantages which are depending on how users or consumers use it or manage it. Criminality has been present ever since technology has not yet made, it is because humans have a trait of being greedy that is why they such thing for their own benefits while abducting the rights of other people. Bitcoin cannot be blamed on how criminalities behave because it is a human failure of using it properly. Bitcon has been established to do many purpose and criminality is not a part of it.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 25, 2017, 12:58:46 PM
what do you think about this topic?

Getting rich in terms of using bitcoin is not that instant. Getting rich takes time to happen especially with the presence of hardwork to reach the goal of getting rich. Although bitcoin provides an instant money through campaigns and investments, it will not be easy to get rich in an instant manner. You need to hold and save the bitcoin you gathered and just minimize your spending for fun and put some on investments. Saving will be your key for success depending on how you use bitcoin to get rich. We can be rich on bitcoin but not that instant because time will say it all.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest more than you can afford to lose on: July 25, 2017, 12:47:08 PM
When you are investing you must expect that your money can either grow or not. Because on investment proper, you are already taking the risk because you are expecting that upon investing you can gain or earn more than what you have. The assurance of gaining on investments is not yet visible unless you try and wait for feedback. But if you really want to assure that your money will grow without investing, you can join campaigns to earn without or the less visibilityof taking a risk so that you can lessen the possibility of losing on investments.
655  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 23, 2017, 11:48:44 PM
Even the blind can see that crypto Currency is making people millionaires all  over the world just because they present the holders of such currency with the financial freedom and opportunity to accrue large amounts of wealth base on currency investment . But my question is that, is it late to buy bitcoin? Should i wait maybe bitcoin price will decline after 1st August meeting? Please i will welcome your advice so that I can make my decision on crypto currency investment.
Maybe you can just say that it is too late to buy bitcoins because you did not take the chance to buy one when its price is currently on dump that mindset is due to the regret of taking off the opportunity to buy bitcoin because you are still expecting of its dump. Actually there is no standard time to say that is is late now to buy bitcoin as long as you have your assets with you to buy, you can buy whenever you want. But still it is best to buy when the dump of the price comes.
656  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: July 23, 2017, 11:39:07 PM
If you had your payment in BTC, would you cash out your money or you would wait increasing of cryptocurrency?
If the reason why you are thinking to cash out is the threat of the continuous dump or the unstable status of bitcoin's price value in the market, then do not be bother about it. Dumps and pumps are just normal scenario happening in currencies. But if you want to secure the price value you have better to convert it first to your currency and just watch whether the price value will change up to your standard and convert it back to btc. But the decision will be still depending upon you.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: July 23, 2017, 06:31:28 PM
Hey Bitcoiners? I'm desperate to start earning BTC
I'll do any kind of online activity as long as there's a Bitcoin payment. Where do I start?
You can earn bitcoin without investments by joining or participating on campaigns that provides weekly or bounty campaign which is beneficial on earning bitcoins. Though campaign such as signature campaign included in bounty camps really takes time, it is worth a wait because the stakes that you can gain will be turned into such a great value suited for your needs specially income.
658  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ang Sekreto sa Trading on: July 13, 2017, 03:53:43 AM
tsaka payong kapatid pala amigo! stay away from margin trading lalu na at maliit palang ang pondo mo.  Grin Grin Grin
"kontrolin ang greed"  Grin Grin Grin

Hello sir. Ano po yung margin trading?
Tanong ko na din kung may minimum amount na dapat gamitin kapagbibili o preference mo na kung gaano kababa yung ibibili mo. Thank you in advance.
659  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: July 13, 2017, 01:20:49 AM
As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.
There are many possibilities however, some possibilities can't happen if someone are controlling ot or regulating it which in this reason blockchain has the control. If ever miners stop functioning, bitcoin would certainly stop however it's impossible since every individual can mine bitcoin.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Choose altcoin for trading on: July 13, 2017, 12:49:06 AM
The amount of altcoin is overwhelming,
So I am confused to choose a good altcoin for trading, Can you please mention any coin whose price is stable, So I can include it in my trading list,
I once had a bitter experience, I bought altcoin, but in the end it did not sell And lost from the market,  For example digieuro

As newbie, it would be better if you decide which by trade by yourself. Choose any coin you desired as lomg as its volume it huge so it won't take you longer time to trade it. Also, if ever someone told you which to buy, know yourself if it's really profitable then make your own decision.
