61  Economy / Economics / Re: A little good news for Asia on: March 18, 2020, 06:30:27 PM
It is nice to see such recovery from the Asian market, the Chinese will get over this epidemic soon . Recovery is a gradual process and soon the American stock will follow and bitcoin will show green on the cryptocurrency. A good time to buy is now no doubt about that.
I believe this pandemic issue that is happening all over the world will not take long because not only the chinese is solving this case of corona virus because every country is helping each other, so that they could recover and cure a lot of people, and to help recover the economy of a country.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Corona drop over or will it continue? on: March 18, 2020, 04:34:13 PM
There are really a lot of confusion and theories about the sudden drop of bitcoin's price that most of us think it is because of the corona virus and some says it is normal for bitcoin to make a sudden drop of movement to it's price. But all i know that bitcoin will not end there because 100% sure, bitcoin will recover back it's price soon.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play gambling that require skills and techniques. on: March 18, 2020, 03:54:00 PM
There are a lot of gambling sites that rely on the skills and techniques for you to win the game, but actually that is what you should prefer to play compared to those gambling sites that only rely to the luck of the gamblers. Aside of playing you are also thinking or analyzing which is really important to maintain and boost the way we think.

Here is the link where you can learn some games that may require skills and techniques to win, and they also listed some ways for you to win:
https://www.gamblingsites.com/blog/100-ways-to-win-at-gambling-16240/
In my own personal opinion, most gambling games depends on luck because without any luck it is impossible for you to have a good outcome of your cards or your bets. The only game that i know that requires skills and techniques is poker that even you have a bad card on your hand you can still bluff your opponents for them to fold their cards and for you to win.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: March 18, 2020, 03:31:48 PM
We never thought this corona will be so viral and disastrous and even I have mentioned in my previous posts downplaying the seriousness of Corona but now it has collapsed economy of many businesses except pharmacy business which have seen a spike as most of the stocks are out of stock but the restaurant and other daily operational business like tours and travel agency, malls, other event-based business, and meat shops are closed and going through massive loss.

How long will it last? What's the antidote for Corona?
The pandemic of corona virus had made a huge impact in every businesses and companies due to lockdowns and community quarantines, that is why a lot of productions have stopped and only pharmacies have only increased their incomes and other foods and beverages.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are your safe haven now? on: March 18, 2020, 03:05:01 PM
Hey

So, since the crisis has just begun imo, which coins are you guys holding? who do you trust?

I am a proud holder of NWC, KAVA, and BAT for some time now. Or at least I wish I could say I'm proud for all them haha. Kava and Bat are testing my patience lately, but I ain't sellin'!! Time to buy more..

Whereas these NwC guys came up with a solution on how to keep HODLers in these tough times. Some sort of Holders event, exciting idea for me as a holder type of guy.

But, that's my opinion.

What about you Bitcointalk people?

What's your story?

Which coin is your safe haven?
I think the coin that is good for safe haven assets are stable coins because it is unusual for them to make huge movements like bitcoin, that is why coins like USDT coins are only good for avoiding this kind of situations like the bear market. USDT coins is just like fiat currency that it is good for making purchases through online
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: March 18, 2020, 02:03:49 PM
- Eat or Drink
When you gamble, you are not strongly advised to eat or drink because you will most likely not finish the food or drink, you will most likely throw away your food or drink when you lose money at the gambling table...

- Smoking marijuana, Getting drunk or under the influence of drugs
You certainly will not be aware of what decisions you make if you are drunk, if you are drunk while gambling, it is certain that your money will be lost...

- Teasing other people's wives
come on, you go to the casino, is it to tempt someone else's wife, if this is your goal then you must be very prepared to kill by that woman's husband...

- Borrow someone else's vehicle
some criminal cases occur because someone pawns another person's vehicle for gambling. don't try to do this, you will only go to jail...

- Carrying firearms or sharp weapons
come on man, do you want to kill someone, or do you want to frighten the bookie...

- last, Playing at one table with Corona patients fleeing Quarantine
You should not do this, mate. this is of no use, even if you win, you will only bring the coronavirus and spread it to people around even your family...  Cheesy

*don't take this too seriously  Grin
All of here that is enlisted is all true that every gamblers should follow this rules because doing this negative attitudes at the casino will only cause you troubles, even most gamblers do this kind of attitude while they are gambling at the casino, that is why if you ever go at the casino to gamble you should only play not do this kind of negative attitudes.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people have been panic selling? I didn't. on: March 17, 2020, 05:23:04 PM
Panic selling isn't the best solution for a time like this because its quite normal for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to have ups and downs due to its volatility of the market, that is why the best solution for this bear market is have patience again till bitcoin and cryptocurrency increase their prices again.
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: March 14, 2020, 05:27:47 PM
We have our own different ways on how we would gain our money and cryptocurrency because we are not all the same when it comes to our financial status that other people would be holding their cryptocurrency until the market gets back to maintain their long term investment, others would continue to trade to recover their losses faster, and others will have an opportunity to buy cryptocurrencies that they wanted.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: March 14, 2020, 04:46:01 PM
Have you seen how governments responded to the corona virus?

Quite simply, in Italy, the US and elsewhere, they will increase their budget deficit, and add debt
It is turning into a global crisis, I do not think they have other options.

In my understanding, that's very bad for fiat currencies, while BTC will remain unaffected, thanks to the lockdown on money supply.
Say that to the current price. 12.47% down in 24 hours, that is a huge drop. The crisis brought by COVID-19 should not affect bitcoin but it still affects the holders. We are just humans, we get scared, we panic and we panic sell. Hope we recover from this crisis soon.

Fiat currency circulates faster than digital currency and it is a tangible thing that can be passed from one person to another. You don't know how old a fiat money is, so you have no idea if that is still not contaminated by the virus. According to Gan Kim Yong, the COVID-19 can be passed if a person with the virus coughs and touched a certain surface and that surface is touched by another person and then touched his face. There's a direct and indirect process, we all know that money is one of the most contaminated because I'm sure that everyone already touched it from time to time.

So we need to wash our hands with soap for 15 - 20 seconds and wash it again with alcohol. Also avoid touching our faces after we touched a fiat money and always be mindful of our actions. I suggest to use your bitcoin if it is necessary and you really need something pay for your goods.
This Corona virus is really more harmful in fiat currencies than cryptocurrencies because the virus could be pass on to you if the last person who touch the money is contaminated or infected by the virus, that is why you should be clean to yourselves and boost your immune system for you to avoid getting infected by the corona virus.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: March 14, 2020, 04:24:11 PM
As we all know , Coronavirus has impacted each and every industry in the whole world and sports isn't an exception .

If you take a look at this  , https://www.nytimes.com/article/sports-canceled-coronavirus.html or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5232295.0 you will get to know how many tournaments across different sports have been affected .

But the question is , is this the right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? The assumption I am making here is  that the gambling addicts are addicts on sports betting and not casino game addiction or poker .

Why this question is because although I wanna bet on sports ( which I have been doing every week since 8 years ) now I cannot .
In my own opinion, people who are addict in sports betting would really stop gambling for a while until the corona virus hasn't stop spreading all over the world. It is also a big opportunity for other people to get rid of their gambling addiction because I think a month is enough for them to get used to not gambling or playing sports betting.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be real projects on: March 14, 2020, 03:31:56 PM
Becareful of fake promises from new projects, some use cases can never be possible on blockchain and many don't know this, I've neglected some projects because of this, why are investors fooling themselves? The warning that says ' stay away from offers that are too good to be true' is not entirely talking about profits only, sometimes it's more than that, how can we be promised that a city will use A.I technology when no single A.I project is successful in crypto space? Be wise fellas, some things will never work on blockchain, at least not this time
To be honest, there is an AI technology that have become successful which is the blockchain technology that big companies and businesses are also started to adopt it for fast and convenient transactions. But it's true that there are more projects that are not successful rather than successful projects because there are not well developed and scams, that is why you shouldn't be falling in projects that makes false promises or things that are too good to be true.
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brought Bitcoin in 2017 and sold in 2018 on: March 13, 2020, 05:06:53 PM
I'm the most unluckiest person, because I brought 0.5 Bitcoin in 2017 3rd quarter and sold it in 2018 before it is going to down fall. I have converted all my Stellars in to Ripple, Stellars and trax coins. But till now I could not sell them due to that they are in very low position. If ince again I have chance to sell them in price rice in 2020 I may be very happy. But no hope it is according to my fate.
You might have been impatience and not waiting for bitcoin's price to increased that you didn't control your emotions, that is why you suddenly converted all of your cryptocurrencies and sold your bitcoin, but just like what you have said it must be your fate. I hope you have learned from those mistakes and you should be now waiting for the right time and have patience for you to maintain your long term investment.
74  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Ano o sino ba ang mas delikado: COVID-19 o tayo? on: March 13, 2020, 04:42:20 PM

It made me realized.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: March 13, 2020, 04:24:46 PM
Going outside or any public places should avoid that we should be really staying inside our houses or our homes while they are still people that are affected by these corona virus. It is the reason why public places like casinos are temporarily closed because even security guards uses temperature sensors to detect if you are infected you still cannot say if he/she is infected or not because the ways to transmit a virus is by touching or passing objects that is from an infected person, and an object that could be pass on by an infected person is using physical money and other things that is being used inside the casino.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does the Coronavirus (Covid-19) make BTC to rise? on: March 13, 2020, 04:02:38 PM
Currently the price of bitcoin is down to almost $5,000, and I think the corona virus or COVID-19 has some effect to it because since there are a lot of lockdowns in other countries a lot of people might be selling their cryptocurrencies for them to buy the things that they need inside their home. This virus has a huge effect in financial crisis, so cryptocurrency can also be affected.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from hackers. on: March 13, 2020, 03:28:33 PM
To be honest, there are a lot of great hackers nowadays that they are really unpredictable that you can't really when will they attack and steal all of your cryptocurrencies or bitcoin. So the best way to protect your funds from hackers is not to visit any suspicious websites and do not share any of your information and passwords to people through online.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: March 12, 2020, 05:39:15 PM
Having a patience to wait and to hold your cryptocurrencies is the best solution while the price of all cryptocurrency is dump because not waiting and selling your cryptocurrencies in a low price will only give you regrets, when the market suddenly increases it's price in the next few months.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the position of the gambler in the market? on: March 12, 2020, 04:43:09 PM
My idea of gambling property is very low and I did not dare to go to the marketplace with gambling to stay in danger.  Want to get experience with gambling and how can I gain experience with gambling?
If you have intention to be a gambler you can play it now, but you have to know the ins and out about gambling itself. You will be awful when you don't know much about gambling and you just play it with your lust. Also, for the first time you should have an intention to spend money that you can afford to lose, with that way you will be learn every step when you playing it. If you have done those thing I'm sure you will have an experience that you can be applied when you come to play.
Learning gambling is pretty simple because you can easily learn gambling by just watching other gamblers playing table card games, slot games, lottery, and etc. As long you are dedicated to learn something sooner or later you could learn how to gamble, just remember that gambling is very dangerous, so you should not be greedy and limit yourself from playing.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: Coin prices down 25% to 30% this morning. on: March 12, 2020, 03:35:02 PM
Buying opportunity approaching!  I just need to learn when to sell at the right time.

Why are cryptos falling, their prices should be rising like gold at times like this.

I opened up coinmarketcap this morning, saw all the red, and said "holy fucking shit".

Weird times, but whatever, as long as I make a big profit!
Cheap or low prices is a big opportunity for people who wants to buy their favorite cryptocurrencies like bitcoin. All you need to do is to buy low and sell high for you to gain more profit when you are about to invest or to trade. But always be careful because even you buy a coin in a low price it doesn't mean you could make a big profit because it depends to you on how would you gain your profit.
