A UPS would be nice, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it for you.

At least the nice thing with most miners is that if there's a power outage, the miner will start mining again right when it receives power. With Windows and GPU's that sometimes wasn't the case.

Some pictures, miner names and prices would be nice to see.

It clearly says that those pictures are from Genesis-Mining, not PBMining. Did you even read the article? The owner of PBMining only mentioned a statement they posted in that article, he didn't provide pictures of their operations.

Quote
http://pbmining.com/: gives you 5 years contract at same price as GW Miner, but with PB miners you see the warehouse and the people. After 5 years contract to be honest you really don;t want to be looking at the fractional returns.

What are you talking about? PBMining has provided absolutely no proof of any hashing power, and it's owners do everything they can to stay anonymous. Do some research bud.

IIRC he can still login to his account, just can't post or PM anybody, which is why I thought it was weird that he hasn't been online for two weeks. Like, he was logged in during his ban before.

So is there any news on this campaign? Last I heard there weren't enough funds for the end of September payments, I'm wondering if this sig campaign will continue after that, or if I should look for a different campaign to migrate to after September.

You're late  Grin

GawMiner will continue because they receive a fund for OCTOBER
instead they open 40 more slot for participant to enroll in
Perfect, thanks for the info!

Sucks we can't rollback either.
That's what frustrates me as well. I've had so many battery problems with iOS 7 and I'd be happy to go back to iOS 6. Right now I'm holding off on 8 until a jailbreak is released - I'm not willing to give up my jailbreak tweaks for a new OS with more potential issues.

Does anyone know what happened to BPB? He hasn't logged in to his Bitcointalk account for 2 weeks now. Anything new?

1430  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Miner's Heat Generation on: September 18, 2014, 02:10:06 AM
As others have said, look into fan cooling. If you go the AC route, that'll really cut into your profits by using all that electricity on air conditioning. I'm guessing AC will use about the same amount of power as the miners themselves, or near that.

Not interested in these, but just wanted to say that you have an amazing farm here! Good luck selling!
1432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: where to rent? on: September 17, 2014, 01:09:40 PM
I'd go with either BetaRigs or MiningRigRentals. I've rented my machines at both sites and liked them both.

I'm able to log in fine. Try clearing your cache and cookies.

You're located in Canada, correct? If so, what province?
1435  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: FS: 2x Antminer S3, DPS2kBB.. on: September 14, 2014, 01:58:04 PM
1 BTC for both S3's is your asking price?
1436  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Replacement/Additional Antminer S1 fan? on: September 11, 2014, 06:39:06 PM
Could look into a fan like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103069

I believe it's whats used on the Hyper 212 CPU coolers, but I can't say for certain. I've looked into getting one of those for my S1's but decided against it, because I figured I could live with the noise, plus save a few bucks.

So I haven't used it on an S1 before, but from looking at the specs and such, it appears it would be great for cooling an S1.
1437  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: So say I have X amount of money on: September 11, 2014, 06:36:45 PM
Prime Hashlets could potentially be a good invest, however I wouldn't be investing all 10k into Hashlets. I'd suggest trying with a small amount, such as $500 or maybe even $1000 and then hold the rest in Bitcoin, or whatever else you feel would be a good investment.

Just looking to double check with you guys, if I create a work such as [username].s1-1 that won't work, correct? I tried a few days ago and my S1 was submitting shares, they just weren't being counted by the pool. Once I removed the "-" everything was fine and my shares began to be accepted.

1440  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: can't connect Antminer S1. ( WILL PAY FOR HELP ) on: September 08, 2014, 12:17:00 AM
After you've added your pool settings, try to change the DNS on the S1 to "8.8.8.8". (without the "s) I set mine up but for some reason it was having DNS issues, so by setting it to the Google DNS code it could then connect and begin mining.
