Hi guys How do you know jason is Canadian?
The site says that PBMining is based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. MrTeal was then able to find out Jason's full name as well as address from his company's registration.

This escrow service is still open! I've escrowed a couple deals in the past while, and I'm still open for more!

A VPS with those specs should be more than enough for running a mining pool on. However, if you don't know how to set a pool up, I wouldn't set one up because you'd be managing other people's money. If you aren't sure on how to setup a mining pool, you probably aren't sure on how to secure mined coins either.

Oops, didn't realize that it was a scam. Well even if you used a couple hundred computers on that site, you wouldn't be making anything anyway. It might be worth looking into a CPU only coin though, but I'm not sure how many of those are left, and I'm quite sure there isn't any internet browser mining available for those coins.

I believe we used to have something of a newbie jail in place, at least when I signed up. I remember being stuck to the newbie section for my first few posts, and then being let to post in the rest of the forums after I hit x posts, or x activity. Would be nice to have that back in place as it sounds like they got rid of it.

@ Trezor team: Why are the transaction fees fixed when using mytrezor?
Fiddling with tx fees is an advanced feature and does not belong to myTREZOR which is aimed for regular folks. Couldn't a feature be implemented into Trezor that allows of making custom transactions? Ex. send from a certain address, use x fee amount. It could just be a quick switch on the main page. For example, in the top right corner there could be a drop-down that would allow selecting of either basic, or advanced mode.

Got a couple questions about this, but I might be interested in one. In the title it says that it costs $42 for a board, but in this thread it's saying $43 + shipping, which number is correct? Also, the board doesn't come with a USB cable to power it up, correct?

If you have about 25 minutes, this video might be worth watching. It should explain bitcoin to you (in a technical sense) in about 22 minutes, and it goes into depth with how everything technical works too.

I thought I read somewhere that someone could safely generate a TOR public/private keypair for someone else, similar to how it works with Vanitygen mining for somebody else. They give you a certain key, and then the "miner" uses that to find the private key. However, the private key can only be found when put together with another string that the customer has, and doesn't send to the miner.
Maybe I'm just going crazy but I thought I read somewhere that the above idea is possible with TOR address generation in the last couple weeks.

Well at least we can still get it from the Mycellium website (I'm guessing) and install it unofficially. If this was iOS, it would be a much larger problem. Hopefully it'll be back on Google Play soon enough though.

Accepted as well. Anyway who is the escrower this campaign? Dev or guitar? Or Rollin. io using 2 escrow devthedev is holding the funds for this campaign, and I'm managing it. I will send him payday information as needed. @devthedev if you're holding the funds and you're acting as escrow, OP can update the #1 message saying that there's an escrow service for the campaign.
Anyway, is the enrolled members list updated? or there are some spots for other users? Thanks!
Just updated the spreadsheet, there are currently two open positions for full members.

I've heard that it's been a fairly reliable exchange, but the operators are anonymous. So if they disappear, don't expect to see your bitcoins again that were stored there. It seems that BTC-e is one of the few exchanges that offers PayPal withdraws though, but they offer it with hefty fees.

You can modify it's mining frequency within BFGMiner. Try adding the flag "--anu-freq x" where x is a number between 225-275. Then just test and see which frequency setting nets you the highest hashrate while still maintaining a low error rate and you're set. 275MHz should get you to about 2.2 GH/s if your miner is stable there. Don't expect it to get to 2.2GHz or higher without some voltage modding though.

If you need an escrow for the campaign you can give me a shot! I won't charge anything.
Thanks for the offer but we already have the funds in escrow. Everyone else, I will review applications and perform modifications to the spreadsheet in the next couple hours.

Ah ok, well that's alright then. I have one for fiddling around with right now too, it's plenty of fun. We have 2 of the beaglebones boards (used in S5) if you want those? I wasn't really a fan of them. They had some things i liked such as u-boot, the onboard emmc and more memory. But overall still favor the rPI. I'll probably pass on the Beaglebone for now, but if I'm interested in the next few days you'll be hearing from me. Right now I have the Odroid C1 as well as the RPi Model B to play around with, and both are enjoyable to work with. But like you, I probably prefer the Pi over the Odroid.
