1241  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 17, 2014, 01:06:57 AM
There is a thread for BTC services :-) they have always paid me fine. That's just my opinion. They may or they may not turn Ponzi it's a risk that some people are taking and I am one of them. Any road back to Pbmining.

I got in touch with the editor of the local paper and gave him all of the details for Jason and what has happened. Hey are wanting to run this story

Hi Jonathan,

We're interested in the story. Do you have a name of the suspect?

I gave every detail possible that I know and the police sergeants name that has been speaking to some of you. It's the fact of thousands of dollars going around Jason's account, not keeping in touch and leaving us not knowing, for all we know he has left he country and I want justice. I would not dream of taking whats not mine, or lying to people to get hard earned cash from them. Hope something gets sorted. I want whats owing to me and if this Jason or what ever his name really meant what he said he would be keeping in touch and trying to stop or help our worries and concerns. ( he is not doing that is he )
That's fantastic news! It seems that publicity really brings issues to light and often after issues are made public, the problems are fixed and such.

It's awesome that they're interested in running a story, as it's pretty much the main paper in Saskatoon. The other option would be to contact CBC Saskatchewan, but I'm not sure if they'd be interested in running a story like this.
1242  Economy / Services / Re: Merry Christmas and a Happy 2015 Year ! :) bitcoin congratulation card. on: December 16, 2014, 11:55:10 PM
Whao, is that address yours? How long did that take you to generate? Huh

Nah, it's not technically his as he doesn't have the private key to it (hopefully, LOL). It's like this address: https://blockchain.info/address/1BitcoinEaterAddressDontSendf59kuE

By making it, I assume that he makes the checksums and etc work, hereby generating a legit bitcoin address.
Ah that makes sense. I totally didn't think that he might not have the private key to this address. Duh!

Wow! How long did it take to generate an address that long? I'm surprised you were able to generate one with that many custom characters.
1244  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 15, 2014, 06:04:56 PM
I'm in Saskatoon and I'd be more than happy to take a lead on submitting a report. However, I'd have to be in ownership of a PB account I suspect. I'll have to figure out how I can purchase an account (probably here in the market would work) and then I'd be able to submit a report.
1245  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 15, 2014, 01:20:38 AM
Well, at least payments, however low they may be currently, are still coming. For them trolls who keep hammering that PB is a scam, I don't know of any scammer who has ever been that dedicated to supporting his customers, obviously moving heaven and earth to recover from whatever catastrophe happened.

There was no catastrophe. There's nothing to recover from. He's a scammer that is worried that he'll go to jail. That's the only reason he's doing anything.
Agreed. I'm not sure how people are happy that PB is still paying. Sure they're paying, they're paying 1/20th of what they should be paying.

I'm not sure why it'll take until January to begin the "recovery program". Recovery should begin now, and it seems like a cover up for PB Mining to run off and disappear somewhere foreign with customer's money.

EDIT: Not sure if anyone saw this post but it appears that PB Mining has absolutely no reason to skim payouts.

In their second term of the "contract", the following statement was made: "Our insurance covers you so that you will always receive the proper payments." So their insurance should be covering the "lost funds".

However you view it, this is all very sketchy right now. I'm sure in the next few weeks things will slowly clear up.

Were R values re-used again today? I see that johoe has ~250 BTC more in his wallet today with messages saying "Contact Blockchain support".

i do not have a ebay acount.
but try this to make contact.

http://www.ebay.com/usr/pbmining

that ebay account
aloso belongs to pbmining      Jan-10-14      Present
                       saskatoonroxy      May-09-12      Jan-10-14

Google search on saskatoonroxy reveals thats a theather... but i dont know, im not a detective and i dont live there
if i was i would pay that theather a visit and ask about Jason
I believe MrTeal already figured out that Roxy is the name of his dog. Although it's a name of a theater in Saskatoon chances are he's referring to the dog.
1248  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why is reddit so popular? on: December 14, 2014, 05:59:37 AM
Another thing Reddit offers are communities for everything - gaming, coding, online deals, encryption, bitcoin, music, etc.

If you have an interest and want to learn more about it, there's a good chance there's a Reddit community for that interest.

IF YOU HAVE NOT CALLED THIS NUMBER, +1 306 975 8300 AND TOLD THEM THAT JASON BOYKO STOLE YOUR MONEY THAN YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. YOU SHOULD NO LONGER POST UNLESS YOU HAVE CALLED. THE NUMBER FOR THE SASKATOON POLLICE IS 306 975 8300. WHY ARE YOU WAITING. PLEASE POST 911 ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED. i like blue more.. also keep reposting till we get 100 calls
Others dont have access on calling the number, do they have option to receive complaint online?
Anyone can access the number. Create a gmail account and use Google Voice, international phone calls are free from there. All you'd need then is a microphone, which can cost as little as $5.

However, if you don't want to report it via phone I'm sure you can submit a report online.

1251  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 12, 2014, 01:08:16 PM
I don't understand how all of this started and why everyone seems to think Jason was about to run off. I haven't seen any evidence, all I have seen is that someone took it upon themselves to post his facebook profile because they "THOUGHT" pbmining was skimming. I haven't seen any evidence that I should be mad at PBMining (Jason) for (other than the fact that they shutdown due to threats), and as it stands it does look like he was harassed and chased out with no concrete evidence, just accusations.

Someone please fill in the blanks, I have read through most of this thread and haven't seen anything of the like.
They dropped their payouts by 10% one week. They logged in daily, but didn't respond to customers for four days after the payment were sent with their excuse. When they finally gave out their excuse, they said their new mining formula was "A - B = C". This pissed people off (which makes sense) so they found out Jason Boyko's personal details. When he realized his details were out in the open, Jason decided to take PBMining in another direction, and spin down the company. I'm thinking had someone not found his details, chances are he would have run off with the bitcoins he had from PB in the near future. Now he's blaming blackmailing and death threats for the death of the company, which is interesting because before he came out and said the company was shutting down, PBMining said "As far as law enforcement is concerned, there will be a statement made and the threats & blackmail messages will be shown to them." So I guess they paid off the threats and blackmail instead of going to authorities like they said?

It seems that there's lots going on, and probably lots more we don't yet know about Jason. At least now we have solid facts on him, and I'm sure if customers want to file a lawsuit again him, they will.
1252  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: December 10, 2014, 10:34:23 PM
No, I am talking about the Bits of Proof connection. My balances aren't loanding. Trezor isn't even plugged in. It worked for a while, now it is not working again.
Mine is working fine without my Trezor plugged in.

1253  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBMining.......WTF is happening??? on: December 10, 2014, 10:01:12 PM
According to this thread, it sounds like PB Mining is rolling things down, and will begin to compensate customers in January for contracts that they've purchased.

Read through that thread as well as some of the other PBMining threads here and you can see everything that's currently going on. But I think the biggest news right now is the thread I linked to above.
1254  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: December 10, 2014, 09:41:23 PM
this thread alone is a slap to the face. a bit too late on admitting there was a huge problem.

now trying to gain back whatever reputation thats left, to continue.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=887871.0
I don't think Jason has much of a reputation left at this point. It's really hard to believe that the company suffered "horrible losses thanks to some very shady people with unreasonable demands." A day or two before this was posted, PB was talking about giving blackmail and threat details to law enforcement to deal with. So I guess PBMining paid off the blackmailers and people threatening them instead of truly taking it to law enforcement? There are so many questions left to be answered by Jason, and I suspect that many of the posts he has made in the past few days aren't really the truth with what's going on.

I just hope that customers get their full investments back from PBMining and learn from it. If not, I hope they begin a lawsuit suing Jason for all losses incurred, and not holding up his part of the 5 year PBMining "contract".
1255  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: DO NOT BUY OR SELL PBMINING ACCOUNTS on: December 09, 2014, 10:57:00 PM
Don't buy any PB Mining accounts anymore, sounds like they're planning to close up shop and give customers back what they can.

See here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=887871.0
1256  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 09, 2014, 10:44:04 PM
This is all really interesting. I didn't think PBMining "contracts" were true contracts, so I asked customer support a few months ago for a copy of the "contract" and here's what they said:

Quote from: admin@pbmining.com
"Contract" is a broad term used in Bitcoin Mining, and is not necessarily reflective upon a piece of paper that you would normally sign and date.  I can describe your very simple terms to you through e-mail.

1. No refunds on a contract if a payout has already been made.
2. Hash power efficiency will never change from what it is now, even if we have technical issues.  Our insurance covers you so that you will always receive the proper payments.
3. Contract will end in 5 years after it has been activated.

If you have any more questions please let me know.

In the simple terms of their "contract" it says that the contract will end "5 years after it has been activated." So if PBMining stops paying out and rather just paying a lump sum out to "contract" holders, I believe that would be breaching their "contract" terms.

However since it isn't a true contract, I'm not sure how much of a legal case could be made against PBMining / Jason with this point.
1257  Economy / Digital goods / Re: buying you bitcoin-qt wallet on: December 09, 2014, 09:12:41 PM
Oh...I keep all my old wallets back to late 2012 or so. Where do I trade these for this CLAM? I am assuming CLAM is some alt coin??
CLAM is an altcoin. You can see if wallets are eligible by going to the Just Dice chat box, and then type "/dig 1ADDRESS" and then you can see if there's any money associated with those wallets. If so I believe you can then type "/dig 1ADDRESS 5PRIVKEY" and then the CLAM should show up in your Just Dice account. I'm not 100% sure on all of that though, if someone can confirm that would be awesome.

It also works with LTC and DOGE wallets too if you by chance have any old wallets of those currencies.
So we can exchange it at poloniex?. am i right bro?.
Yeah I believe that Poloniex is the main exchange for CLAM.

Hello ,

I will buy your biction wallet with price 0.003 bitcoin .
The wallet must be created before may 2014 .

ill sell it for .05 btc, wallet was created before may and has alot of addresses.

Can someone fill me in on why anyone would do this? I have tons and tons of old wallets....why would anyone want to buy them?
If the wallet had coins in it during May 2014 then each wallet is worth 4.5 CLAM or so which currently translates to about 0.008 BTC IIRC. But to get the CLAM reward you need to give up the private key to the wallet.
1260  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: December 07, 2014, 05:29:34 PM
So, what´s the fucking status with this thing ?

Is it Jeremy or is it Jason ?
It's Jason.

There's no Jermey Biggs, that was just a name he gave out when talking to reporters IIRC.
