You could just use one bitcoin address but set up five workers on the pool side. Most pools show stats for individual workers, so you can see how each miner is performing.

Hmm..never noticed this. Thanx for pointing it out. Guess they do it to discourage spamming?
Exactly. Often times by the time someone is a member, chances are they aren't here to spam.

I would like to know the minimum transaction fee of Electrum
Thanks in advance!
If your coins have high priority and your transaction qualifies as a free one, you are allowed to set 0 as the transaction fee. Otherwise, try 0.1 MBTC (0.0001 BTC) But i cant set the fee to 0 . I tried 0.0001 BTC Fee and it worked . Transaction is so fast. BTW How much is 0.0001 BTC in USD ? 0.0001 BBC translates to around 2.23 cents USD.

Only open proxies (Tor) and banned IPs have to pay the fee. VPNs are not open proxies, however some may have been banned due to prior abuse by other members so a fee may be required.
OK that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. So if a user has been banned on a certain IP, is that a permanent ban or temporary? Will all users on the same IP have to pay a fee if registering on that IP address forever, or will the ban fee be removed a few months, or a year for example, later?

Some self moderated topics are indeed used for scam purposes, other times it's used just to cut down on spam.
If you don't like the topic, you can create your own, non-moderated topic about the site or product and then people can talk in that thread without being censored for voicing their opinions. It's happened a couple times, for example there's a topic with over 1k pages in the Service Discussion area dedicated to an uncensored discussion about GAWMiners.

I think that a banned usergroup would be a good idea, rather than the sort of shadow-bans currently in effect. Bitcointalk is actually one of the few sites I've seen that only shadowbans, rather than banning the user and placing them in the "banned" group.
Yeah , Exactly mate if you know someone is banned, then you could make a new account and impersonate them, or attempt to get them punished for ban evasion.
But BadBear got a point here ... Bitcointalk do allow using Proxies, Vpn's , Tor and multiple accounts ... Other forums that show banned people don't allow such a thing so it's kinda make sense . But doesn't Bitcointalk discourage using Tor, VPN's and creating multiple accounts by charging users who register accounts over a proxy/VPN/Tor? I thought I read somewhere that if an account is registered over one of these services, a fee needs to be paid before the account can be used. No I don't think. The use of tor , and the various proxy/vpn is not forbidden. If someone register an account from tor they *must* pay a little fee or he cannot post or send pm. Oh ok that makes sense. Reading over that again that's maybe what I meant to say... considering I often use a VPN here and I haven't ever been asked to pay a fee or anything.

Hi, in electrum my transaction status is "pending" for over 2 days.
the transaction does not appear at all on blockchain.info
can someone please assist?
Try changing to a different server, close Electrum, and then re-open it. The TX shouldn't show up then. If it doesn't show up, try sending it again. If it does show up, then double check on Blockchain for the TXID, or check another block explorer like Blockr.io or Blockexplorer.com.

I agree with the others, unless you have free electricity and get an awesome deal on a miner, I think you'd be better off just buying bitcoins.

is there any chance of a second gen coming out in any reasonable time frame? does that even make sense for this product?
I thought I read somewhere that the Trezor team doesn't plan to release a second version of the Trezor. I can't remember exactly where I read it, but I wouldn't have my hopes up for an updated version.

A screenshot would really help to explain your issue. I don't have any Antminer gear anymore, but if you are talking about hardware errors, be happy with only 3 errors after 2 days, it's nothing to worry about. If your chips are reporting dead, then I'd try restarting the miner and see if errors appear after a couple days of mining again.

I had a similar issue to this. Try changing your DNS to "8.8.8.8" - that's the free Google DNS and got me up and mining quickly.

I don't think you'd be using 30GB of data per month, and as LeMiner said it would be good to know the country and province/state you're located in. At least, I don't think you'd use 30GB of data per month with ~5 miners running. Probably closer to 10GB or so if my estimating is accurate.

Marco, when you get a moment would you mind adding my escrow to the list as well? Link

I would just like to state that after reading your negative trust on his account that I AM NOT ALT OF HIM just to be clear. He actually has sold me bitcoins for my paypal.
I would like to clarify this as well. MilesJohan is not an alt of mine, and he only sent me bitcoin yesterday for my PayPal as well.

Just purchased 0.15 BTC from MilesJohan. Smooth trade, and closing this thread now!

Lol,
I think OP wants to sell BTC.
I can do this for you.
Let me know if still interested.
Regards
Duke
Nope, I'm interested in buying bitcoin with PayPal, I'm not selling it. However if you can sell me 0.15 BTC for $36 PayPal then we'd have a deal.

I can do this for you and send first. What's your bitcoin address?
Thanks for your offer, just a tad bit late though. I have received my coins. Alright fair enough! I'll keep an eye if you're buying small amounts like this in the near future!
