It's pretty risky to invest when you do not have enough savings in the bank because investment could go wrong
at least if you have savings you still have something to spend. That's why it is always advisable to spend what you

If i were you i will do both because if you don't have savings then you might get bother by an emergency and you will end up selling your portfolio or investment then cashing it out and starting investment again. I think it's both. I investing to save money. By investing can save money, because it will not be more lost than using it to be played in a gambling game. Investing can make a profit and further away from the risk of wasting money and safer. But if have to choose one, is better to investing in order to earn profits for the future.

Investment is really very beneficial because if we will invest then we will find more sources of income and if we will have more sources of investment then we will be able to get a steady income which will make us rich and to able to get anything we want while only saving is not enough because it will finish if we start to complete our needs with it.

I think saving is best option for those people who have already invested a lot of money and still having good amount remaining in their wallet. To me  for such people the best option is to purchase gold. Where there money will remain as more safe and will also no decreasing their value. Because gold always maintain its value, we can observe a very minor change in the price of gold ever after a lot of time.

For me you have to do both. Some part of your money you should save without risk and for the rest of the money (The ratio depends on you totally how much ever you want to save and invest) you can invest. I save and invest at the same time. Saving at least to cover emergencies that might have before you consider investing. If you plan to save atleast 1yr up you might want to invest it with bitcoin rather in bank. And also depends on how much money you want to risk.

I wouldn't suggest to save money in banks cause there are a lot of hidden fees that they might been using to steal your money. Centralized fiat currency are designed to slave you from debts and it is over regulated and over rated while the decentralized digital currency that is bitcoin is free from oppression,exploitation and tyranny from the bankers. You should invest all of your cash in bitcoin cause this coin has the potential to have great value than gold and dollars in the next 20 years it's current price is around $2700 and now considered as safe haven for investors.

saving is ultimate option if you consider in fiat but while taking bitcoin ,its price depend on market,though bitcoin and blockchain technology is spreading very fast and now many investor are taking cryptocurrency in account rather than forex or share trading.still btc price depend on market ,so invest that much only that you can afford to loose or trade/invest in new project ,it give some boost to your bitcoin balance.

We should not pick jut one of the those two options because they are both good to have rather than sticking to just one option because if you have savings and also investment then if your investment goes wrong like your coins (altcoins) goes down then you can use your savings to buy some coins again to lower your average price bought and get the possible chance to make profit in a short period of time.
