simple, Gravity causes all things on earth to be pulled down. gravity is a fact. its easy to replicate. with gravity then all things will be pulled equally down, explaining river, why we arent projectiled into space, etc. and it makes a hell of a lot more sense then a flat disk being propelled at over +1000MPH without any form of propulsion using unlimited energy which cannot exist.
