I like the hardcore dev skillz, but would you ever consider rebranding?

What are your ideas?

I don't really have any ideas, I just wanted to bring the idea up and see what you guys thought. Not to be rude but when I hear DogeCoinDark I just think its such a joke.

The word "Doge" or "Dogecoin" does not invoke a joke theme anymore. The word "Doge" has become synonymous with the idea of a smaller version of Bitcoin. So i'm not worried about the name. Not worried about the word "Dark" either. Maybe rebrand in five years to "DogecoinElite" when the price has far surpassed that of the original Dogecoin, but for now the name "DogecoinDark" lets people know immediately that they are getting an affordable anonymous coin. And for anyone that discovers this coin and is curious enough to do some research, i.e. come here and read this message board, they'll quickly find out that this is a coin on the forefront of anonymous tech.

yep I agree with that too. Definately DOGED will surpass DOGE's value per coin in the near future. When panic sets in the financial system we'll see some major price changes

We are already seeing the cracks in Europe with greece and the UK's need for immigrants to keep the economy going. The only thing that makes the times good is war. Certainly the financial system will collapse it has to there is no other way. When it does Cryptos will rule for sure as gold can't because the governments own too much of it.. Anyway comparing the value of DOGED to FIAT makes no sense to me really unless you re just buying into the coin to make money.

UK's need for immigrants pff at that. They need to stop bringing them in pisses me off, inviting them in and they get everything as were UK citizens get fuck all and it is us TAX payers who have to pay for all their shit. Oh come to UK we give you everything you need bleed us dry and go back home as most do. Over 330,000 immigrants  let in 2015 so far and counting, is a total joke due to the open house policy, letting any person in. This is draining our resources and making things worse than curing or making things better. The UK government need to go back to a limited amount of people allowed in each year, than current situation. Am not  discriminating against people coming in it is the fact of how many is coming in that is the problem. Go back to how was problem solved. No need to being in almost half million people  stop this from happening in UK and other areas of the world it will solve its problems.

And back on subject indeed DODGED will indeed pass Doges value after seeing devs dropping off and merged mining is no doubt going to deal its faith and become a less competitive coin.

Ah good to see a fellow brit as the dev most people I know now who accept doge have started to accept doged.
I'm currently installing cointopayments on my site and seriously considering gaccepting doged. The only issue is the sell walls which will only dissappear when people stop dumping.. but it will get there 100%

Get on social media, talk about it, accept it for a service or good, spend it, give it away, get your friends to install the mobile wallet, etc.

product useless without PR
but in the crypto world (for now)coins with good PR do better than the coins that deliver the goods with no PR

we need to setup a dontion site (nothing is free) to help fund bounties or bribes  

examples
1. wiki page set up
2. articles on reputable sites
3. get on more exchanges(bribes)
4. advertising (republican candiates)
5. community suggestions here
6. community suggestions here

Also to fund dogecoindark dev for any projects he would like to move forward on
or upgrades he needs (just think of the possibilities if this dev was funded)

PR isn't just about making our investments pay off,its about rewarding a brilliant DEV with a far superior anonymous coin than anyone else,
so its worth his time to keep advancing on making the best anonymous coin better.

There are people in here that dont have the skills to do the work needed,
but have the capital to fund the ones that do,when the tools are given to them.
A webpage is the best way to do it,(asking for donations in forums all the time does't look good),the funding is going either to the dev or someone
the communitty and dev trust to pay out bounties.

These are far from your words, i don,t want PR to pump this coin,with or without PR its a great coin,
i want people to know about the best anonymous coin to build a bigger and better community, the price
don,t matter, people using the coin matters,the more people know about this coin, the more places well accept it,
