guys all in serious after COGS is rebranded we need to get XCG into Kraken exchange. Then the entire world will be able to trade XGC for all major fiat currencies directly and through trading platforms like Bloomberg and Tradingview. It's not easy to get into Kraken but it can be done.
Any ideas on how we could accomplish this? We haven't even gotten onto Poloniex yet. Baby steps my friend; Baby steps.

Given the poll results so far, does anyone agree that more time should be spent on finding the best name?
Maybe those interested could submit 3 ideas each by a particular date, or something like this. Even then, the final name wouldn't need to be one of those, but it could help trigger more ideas from people. It just seems a bit rushed to me, and re-branding is not something that should be done on a whim.
I most certainly agree with you. It's impossible for everyone to agree on one thing, but I do honestly believe that if someone comes up with a name that truly "pops", then 2/3 of the people will be down with it. How do you feel about a 2/3 majority on any changes DEV? yeah, i think everyone, or a majority, will all side with a name at some point, and ill keep my eye on it.. I'm at CES right now and i prefaced and explained the situation we have here with the rebranding to a couple friends at CES, and from their outsider view they thought COGS was a great name. It represents us as a COG in the fabric of our society (eventually when people are using COGS like dollars). And i think we should have a policy that there is no one acronym associated with COGS. Just like the coin itself, COGS has it's own meaning for everyone. My tech friends also agreed that there should be no mention of it's darkness in the name as that immediately creates shade. What's up DOGEDDEV?? Hope all is well brother. https://1broker.com/m/r.php?i=8768https://www.bitfinex.com/?refcode=JuvbcI1CzIhttps://www.bitmex.com/register/f1qY9qhttps://www.okcoin.com/?invid=2076079https://simplefx.com/?sfx-r=fb817c64-a4af-4d28-9d5e-8eb918121483https://bit4x.com/invite/2c724af5https://localbitcoins.com/?ch=4vi3https://www.quadrigacx.com/?ref=jsmu1vwd8mir1a35fa67ogwbhttps://primedice.com/?ref=CarlJeffhttps://purse.io/?_r=B2Z_KKThat is exactly the way i feel A_McGriff COGS are a critical part of everything in life. it also rolls off the tongue. people get an instant mental image when they hear the word COGS. It is simple yet says a lot. people associate the word COGS with precision, and machinery running well etc. nobody thinks of anything bad when they hear COGS. Opertum, MEANS veiled in Latin? Nubibus MEANS shrouded. Nummi in Latin which MEANS just coin or cash but was also the name of the money in circulation and was used by the Roman and Byzantine empires. shinobi MEANS "to steal away; to hide". in Japanese why is it so important to come up with a name for a coin that means something else, especially shinobi it means to "steal away or hide" WHAT something to do with steal away or hide is as shady as it gets IMHO. i would never look at a coin that means steal away or hide. just sounds suspicious COGS needs no explanation to any person in any language what so ever. COGS are a universal word. (it is so simple that it is almost brilliant) Why does the word BITCOIN sound so good to so many people ?? BECAUSE IT IS ORIGINAL. AND IT DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING ELSE. a bitcoin only means a bitcoin, so people can then interpret that in their own way. there i had my little hissyfit Your the best DOGEDARKDEV. loving all of your work. i really do believe that if COGS is not right name. then leave it as Dogecoindark. people are looking Now. I don't own any, but I would vote for the name COGS

Any ideas on how we could accomplish this? We haven't even gotten onto Poloniex yet. Baby steps my friend; Baby steps. Poloniex is just yet another crypto exchange (with all due respect) but that's not where you want to be. You need the ones that open doors to the financial market. Like Kraken ANXPro etc. on Kraken dev has a shot if he speaks directly with Kraken CEO Jesse Powell he's a great guy and would find common ground on lots of stuff with Dev but definately rebranding the coin is a must to get there and taking the time and meeting him in person is necessary. I will be at Hong Kong in a couple of weeks so I'll talk with the ANXPro guys but again rebranding is a must and will be very difficult to convince them on my own but it's possible. Most of the early Bitcoin community support what this coin is doing this is a great project we all just need to be patient and take it to where the big guys play. I invested early on Stellar and Startcoin and did great (check my early posts) I see this coin as a longer investiment but much greater potential and outcome than the other two.

on a side note guys it doesn't matter how much you hold but if you hold. I know guys who held 50k 100k BTCs and sold them for a few cents thinking they won the lottery. the name of the game here is hold, hold and hold this coin has a potential of reaching places (read prices) most of you guys can't even imagine lol. so buy some if you can buy more if you can't hold whatever you got and use a small portion to buy stuff and donating.
ps. also don't buy too much and end up holding a bit portion of the pot most of the coins end up that way it end up killing the coin's potential (if it had any) blackcoin and bitcoindark are examples of that so yes I'm saying exactly that don't buy too much! let other people get in "cheap prices" means doors open which indeed is a good thing for your own piece of the pie.

Definitely don't want to call it Ninja...does nobody remember NinjaCoin? Ninja also has a different connotation in crypto, referring to a coin that was released with no pre-announcement.
