CAPITAL - (Money, First, etc)

I actually really do like it, along with others that I have seen here.

Looks like there are some good ideas floating around and glad to see that there is no rush to change too quickly.

One thought I had regarding this is that the Dev has put a lot into this coin, and most certainly is going to incur some expense if the name changes.

Maybe a donation address to contribute to, to show some support when/if that happens would be good to see?

lol thanks, honestly, im not worried about changing the name, it will take a bit of time, but im more than willing to do it. honestly though, i dont see it taking me more than a couple weeks to get it all done once a new name is decided.

I think we should decide what our target market is, and I mean a niche target market not "the general consumer" (because Bitcoin has a solid first mover advantage in that category), and then structure a name around that first. Here's a suggestion following this criterion:

Cryptoassets are obviously popular among this target market which is feeling ostracized as Bitcoin loses its roots

Shinobi, shinobits doesn't sound good in spanish. Sounds like chinese bits. Nothing aginst chinese people , but is it the meaning you are looking for?

I was playing around with a name similar to the one sent to you in twitter (LilBits). I was thinking in LitBits...but checking i found an exchange with a similar name LiteBit (https://www.litebit.eu/)

Well...at the end the best name will be what most of the community decides. The most important we already have it...a great developer.

I think the community should keep coming up with new names and constantly add them to the Poll Voting List, everyone can retract their vote if they see a better option they like

On the exchanges BTC2 will show alphabetically right next to BTC giving newDOGED tremendous marketing exposure.

I agree, let's keep brainstorming. This name change is too important to not allow some time for more ideas. I feel like the community is still pretty divided on a name right now.

I'm not a fan of SPLASH. For one thing, it rhymes with DASH, for another thing..."SPLASH", for a third thing..."SPLASH".

Also not so much a fan of CAPITAL, makes it sound too non-liquid and quasi-stateish.

I didn't like COG(S) so much initially, but it is kind of growing on me, and given the alternatives I think it's the best atm.
