Some of you are really going to hate this post, some of you are really going to like it, and the usual group will troll me about it anyway, so here goes..

I would really like to hear from anyone who is actually going to like this. Some reasoning on why they think this is actually a good idea. I'm assuming most don't, I personally feel quite alienated from the entire process.

I had a dream about the future - I'm sure this won't actually happen of course:

1. Swap will ensue, resulting in about 500 pages of people sending their wallet addresses and transactions IDs, people who haven't checked the thread in a while asking "what's going on?", people asking why their swap didn't work, people not asking how to keep their TEETH from staking so they can send them, etc.

2. Spots will create a new forum thread, for a fresh new start. GorillaBucks will be the new currency, for about 1 month.

3. New Spots coin, GorillaKnuckles announced - it will have a different take on GorillaBucks, but both coins will be supported indefinitely into the future.

4. New Spots coin, MonkeyAround will be created as an "experminent" for the GorillaBucks and GorillaKnuckles blockchain. This wallet is experimental and subject to change frequently - if you don't like risk, then stick with GorillaBucks and GorillaKnuckles.

5. 2 months later, MonkeyAround, GorillaKnuckles, and GorillaBucks announced to be merged into brand new Spots coin, ApeDollars.

6. GOTO 1.

I am starting to become unsure if MMXIV is considered a "safe bet", I just bought in today 3750 MMXIV @ 3.1k sats and am wondering. The price has been so stable last week (hovering around 8k-12k sats) and now it just went down and can hardly keep 2k-3k sats. However, I do see a lot of people taking this as a good time to buy a bunch of MMXIV. There is a buy order for 3BTC worth of MMXIV, so I don't feel alone in this matter. Whichever route MMXIV decides to go, I will stick with it. And I think the new system that will be implement soon will slow inflation down causing price to stabilize.

So, you are taking the only coin you've developed that has any reasonable volume and legitimate market cap, and merging it with your failed experiments? Brilliant strategy.

I've had fun profiting from the MMXIV roller coaster the past week or so, but I'm out now.

I'd advise anyone bag holding to sell into that 3btc buy order on Bittrex while you can, and the person with that buy order to pull it.

With .2 btc you can buy around 1000 vary, which will be equal to about 2400 coins after the swap.
With .2 btc you can buy around 4000 mmxiv, which will be equal to about 170 coins after the swap.

This is why I have dumped all of mine. Its only going one way from here.

I advise everyone selling on Bittrex to sell for 3.1k satoshi or more! Don't sell too cheap.

The coin swap calculations have been announced and verified in here and IRC by Spots.

This isn't FUD. I'm not even remotely interested in buying back at anything over 100 sat.
I'm a fan of all spots coins, but it doesn't matter squat to him if the price dumps to absolutely nothing now. The Supply will remain the same and the coins swap will not be affected in any way by the price.
MMXIV only exists for the purpose of the swapping them to the new coin now. Your stakes are insignificant.

Until the announcement today, I was staking about 4500 coins a day and not selling any of my stake. I didn't dump my whole load without good reason and I am not alone.
My advice.. take what you can get while you can.

Nope. After this merge, 99% of my time will be focused on things other than the coin itself. If I wanted to do more coins, I could make 5000 a day and use new accounts on here. No reason to do that

Bought BUCKS about 2 months ago with promise of "100% per year flat, no games"
Sounds like false advertising when that isn't honoured so soon afterwards. 

Still I am in better position than anyone who's bagholding the other coins.

There's no block explorers for vary or bucks, can you confirm the total coin supply for each please so we can consider our positions.
Also can you confirm we'll be able to cloud stake on your server as before - with a crappy home internet connection that's partly what I paid for
