Far more people would get involved if a CPU based coin only. And the testnet wallet was working just fine? I don't understand why you would disable CPU mining I know right, my graphics card is no good but my CPU is very very good, before it was all user friendly but I don't know what happen now.... I'm confused. |

You're highly unlikely to find any blocks though. GPUs, even slow ones, are 10x - 50x as fast as the fastest CPUs, even overclocked i7s |

I'm confused. Yes I was thinking last night how ingenious this wallet was, with the click of a button you were up and running and mining. Had I known CPU was going to be disabled I would not have wasted my time. We need a good CPU based wallet/mining system as was first tested? I am really turned off now ... |

Yes I realize the difference in mining lol, been at this for over 3 years But what caught my eye was the fact it WAS CPU, we don't need more GPU coins, and will hinder the growth of SIA and the storage availability feature, which is the goal. Sorry my friend Sia never had any goals to be a CPU-only coin. Sia will probably have ASICs sooner than later, we've already got verilog implementations of the mining algorithm.
