Now Sri Lanka is in fighting position after quick lost of 2 wickets, it looking Sri Lanka will post target around 270 runs, Ireland not have strong batting line like Sri Lanka than it will have to play with more positive mind to chase this target and to prove it took very good decision to go for bowl first.

4th wicket is down and now 222 runs in 42 overs in still showing good control over the game by Sri Lankan tigers.Sri Lanka is also have good chance to gain confidence to be back on track after long previous disappointed matches through out the year.Ireland was needed to play first but let's see what it does in 2nd innings in chase of huge total which will be set up on the score board.

i think score above 275+ will be very good, even against ireland they are not able to score high so i think in bowling if they dont get wickets in first 10 overs then we can see the odds of sri lanka going up or even we can see ireland favorites the way srilanka are playing they dont want to win the games. |

After 47 overs Sri Lanka score 280 for lose of 6 wickets and this is very good sign for Sri Lanka after showing bad performance in test match series so it will get confidence with nice batting performance and now it can cross 300 runs milestone easily.

A target of 304 runs for Ireland is clear at start what will happen.Sri Lanka had good couple of overs to take the runs this high.Ireland was to play first as they won the toss.Anyway they failed to read the situation.Sri Lanka is going to enjoy good victory after long time.They will try their best to win by huge margin of runs this match.

I think Australia missed the golden chance to add few more runs into total, after wonderful partnership of 2nd wickets it was looking target will go around 290 - 300 runs but West Indies got controlled over by picking some quick wickets and batsmen did very good job for it and play calm down to chase this target easily.
To be honest as much as I love steve smith as a batsman I hate him even more as a captain, he dropped Warner and Finch in the t20 world cup and his idiotic thoughts are continue to have hurting Aussies. If you are a good batsman does not mean you own the world lol. |

Sri lanka made 303 with shanaka made a quck runs and now in bowling side also shanaka took all three wickets of ireland , now ireland are 151/3 and this pair is very dangerous if they stay more than 35 over then we can see a good fight in this match, Sri lanka are getting poor in bowling leaving shanaka no other bowler have bowled good and fielding side they are very bad dropping catches. even then Sri lanka will win this match.

Not a very bad performance till now by Ireland . They have scored 150 in 29 overs after loosing 3 wickets which is not very bad . I know chasing 303 is very difficult for them , but getting closer to the target will build up confidence in the team to play in further matches . BTW this match is not decided yet , I think Ireland still have a chance , who knows what happens . Anything is possible in sports. |

Losing their last last 6 wickets for only 18 runs.  Once Porterfield and O'Brien lost there wickets there wasn't much support from the rest of the team. |

Its a shame that India did not bat first in at least one of the games. It was clever of Zimbabwe to bat first so that they are not chasing leather for an entire innings.
What shame is their if India have not batted first , why even zimbabwe won the toss today and they have saw that they are not good in first batting then they should have taken bowling today and have done a good bowling and restricted India at low score so that they can chase and win it. Whether India bat first or second Zimbabwe cannot win the matches in Odi against india , now we have to see what zimbabwe are going to do in T20 Series. India won the series with 3-0. i expect the same in t20s as well...zimbabwe looked a poor team frankly...i dont even given fight to this young indian team.. We all expect the same tbh but we all might be shocked, because t20 is a short format and game can be changed just in 5 overs. I always am a big fan of a tough fight between bat and ball. |

Well played WI...Imagine if Gayle & Russel returns to team...it would be a team to beat with all ingredients like spinners, hard hitters, innings building players, fast bowlers, finishers...wow, just they need to sort out administrative issues for the good of cricket & their team...at the same time I feel sad because they missed out playing in Champions Trophy in place of BD
They really have some hard hitters. West Indies hit 10 sixers in the chase of 266!! Gayle isn't the only West Indian who can clear the rope easily. You are right but think if Gayle, Russell and others were in the match then ? That is why they seriously need a nice commity of selectors and need to think seriously whether to send their players in IPL or not. |

Sri Lanka got an easy win against Ireland so that it would be helpful for it to get confidence up for ODI series against because this different format than test cricket and it will make this series interesting for sure and both team are looking balanced at the moment for one day matches.

With change of guard at BCCI and at ICC, hopefully the associate nations can hope for a better deal. Expanding the game is more important than making money. |

West Indies looking so nice on home ground and after this massive victory it looking will be into final match for sure, Australia failed to defend this nice target because West Indies has very good advantage of home crowd and they are playing more nice than both teams.
Mate they are west Indies team, no TEAM IN THE WORLD can defeat them virtually. What defeat them is their ego, selectors, shot selection and inability to maintain a nice elation with fellow players. But in last meet against SA, they looked like underdog against quality attack in own soil. |
