Bitcoin could be a great fuel to increase dollar circulation in this world and the same with other legal currency, there is nothing to compare and both can help a faster online transaction. Bitcoin is limited only for online transaction and it is not regulated by the government, it has its unique purpose and it's a compete opposite of dollar so it will not surpass the value or popularity of dollar.

Nice words, no need to compare as bitcoin is going to be the medium to make the circulation of dollar in a positive way. I believe that USA is actually one of the first ones to adopt bitcoin assuming that bitcoin goes mainstream. With the digital divide, the people from third world countries can't totally adopt to it, thus, their local currency will remain strong

As it seems to me, in that very case these currencies would have to chance to remain strong. In fact, I could even go as far as to claim that they might not have a single chance to survive at all. The population of all these poor countries would eagerly dump their heavily depreciating currencies in favor of the US dollar if they only could. we have so many example from our daily life, in very beginning where there was no LCD and LED people were buying simple monitor, but after that LCD introduced which reduce the use of monitor and after that people are now using LED which also reduce the use of LCD so if bitcoin will introduce in the world and almost all the people of the world start using bitcoin I am sure that the use of USD will automatically decrease.

Yes, this is right. 15 years is too long to be predicted. 5 years ago people didn't know that the price of bitcoin will skyrocket up to 2000 dollars. But it will still depend on the decision of the government if they will shut down dollar. And if everyone adopts bitcoin, replacing dollar is not impossible. Bitcoin's price is still volatile, we can't know, and all we know is it has a future.

Nope. I very doubt government will want to relinquish control...

As a sub currency it could gain mainstream use but i think there will be much blood before BTC replace the Dollar.

Dollar has a very great influence in the global market really. Bitcoin on the other hand is unstable so most people and companies would prefer dollar. Let's just say that dollar and bitcoin has its own respective uses.

In real life uses, dollar or other fiats will be used dominantly especially in making transactions since what you pay is the actual price unlike Bitcoin which the price set to the deal would change its value at the time of the payment.

That is innovation, but when it comes to dollar and bitcoin innovation can still be applied but it's completely different. USD is the main currency of a country which is one of the most powerful in the world, USA. That is because the bitcoin spreading is not good enough and the number of bitcoin trader is more than bitcoin user so the volility of bitcoin is high enough. But when  most of people  in the world are use bitcoin I am sure that bitcoin price  will more stable, but for replacing dollar, it will need  a long time.

That is because the bitcoin spreading is not good enough and the number of bitcoin trader is more than bitcoin user so the volility of bitcoin is high enough. But when  most of people  in the world are use bitcoin I am sure that bitcoin price  will more stable, but for replacing dollar, it will need  a long time.

No one will shut down dollar because it has existed on this planet for more than 400 years and many people are using this currency for many purposes and many countries are still considering dollar as their main currency. Therefore, although bitcoin is a great currency, I do not know that whether bitcoin has a chance to replace dollar or not

You seem to be confusing dates bitterly

The US itself is less than 250 years old. The dollar (the American dollar) as we know it today has been around only for a little over 45 years. After it had been divorced with gold in 1971, it essentially turned into another currency. If you refer to fiat money in general, then gold had been used as money for many millennia but it still was superseded and replaced by fiat money eventually. So there is no reason to think that just because fiat money has been around for 400 years, it can't be replaced as well

I don't think so, dollars is dollars and bitcoin is bitcoin. Maybe in the future the bitcoin will be boom or will put on top but never replace the dollar.

It will surely replace dollar but in 15 years time,it will take a long while for bitcoin to replace dollar,many people still uses dollar on the daily basis.

Since it’s an opinion but the chances to used bitcoin in all level of our society is impossible. Even bitcoin become popular or become top one currency, they are more people want to use a fiat (dollar also a fiat) because not all store want to accept the digital currency especially small business.

In fact, bitcoin will be the option of civilization such as payment transaction (like credit/debit card), online shopping (like dollars) and other business.
Additionally it depends on the supply of bitcoin.

Dollar is a Fiat and Bitcoin is Digital , it will never be replaced , as we will consider the base currency as dollar when calc the bitcoin price
